The third priority territory was the simplest.

Not the simplest wound — the simplest situation. A valley territory two days south of the coast, where a correction worker named Bael had been doing the between-space work for eleven years and had been running the gradient methodology without knowing the framework. The wellspring's flow arriving and Bael's work accelerating immediately.

Kael arrived and spent two days confirming the approach, clearing the priority nodes Bael hadn't yet reached, leaving Bael with the complete documentation and a direct threading connection to the network.

Two days.

Not the standard two-to-three-week territory work.

Bael already knew what to do.

The between-space work already established.

The wellspring's flow amplifying what was already running.

The preparation having been done.

He confirmed the work.

Added the wellspring connection.

Left.

The fourth territory was harder.
