On the second night after revising his training plan, Izuku Midoriya received a message from All Might.
It told him to report to Takoba Municipal Beach Park at six o'clock the next morning for training.
"…Really?"
Izuku stared at his phone.
"Then… does that mean I should throw away my current training plan? No… I should be able to combine All Might's training with my own plan. If I adjust the structure, then…"
His thoughts began racing again.
"…Well, no matter what, I'll find out tomorrow."
Izuku pulled out his diary and began to write.
"February 13th — DiaryTomorrow, I'll begin training with All Might… (crossed out)Tomorrow, I'll become a different version of myself."
The next morning—
At five o'clock, Izuku was already awake.
In fact, he had finished the twenty sets of push-ups he usually saved for nighttime.
He had a feeling—
Today's training would be even more intense than anything before.
At 5:30 a.m., All Might arrived at the seaside park.
He had planned to wait.
But instead—
He spotted a familiar figure in the nearly deserted area.
"…A Villain?"
All Might instantly transformed into his muscular Hero form and leapt onto a pile of trash to get a better view.
What he saw—
Was a boy with dark green hair clearing space among the debris.
"I wonder if All Might's here yet… Well, before he arrives, I'll at least finish today's running."
Izuku removed his outer clothes, leaving only a white tank top and loose shorts.
Sandbags were tied around his elbows, wrists, and calves.
"Alright… let's begin."
He started running laps around the piles of garbage.
Earlier that morning, he had already run nearly 11 kilometers on his way here.
But since his goal was 20 kilometers—
He wasn't satisfied yet.
"This kid… he's been training like this consistently?" All Might muttered, surprised.
"But why did All Might tell me to come here…? Training… but what kind of training?"
Izuku glanced at the mountains of garbage.
"…Wait."
"All Might said my body isn't ready yet… which means even his strength wasn't natural. It must have been built through training."
"And this place… it's famous for being dirty and filled with trash…"
"…So that's it!"
"He wants me to use this garbage to train my entire body!!"
Izuku's eyes lit up as he pieced it together.
"…That's actually correct," All Might said, jumping down from the pile of trash and landing nearby.
"All Might!"
"You're early—it's not even six yet!"
"You're early too, young Midoriya," All Might replied with a confident grin.
"…Why do I always imagine you coughing up blood right after you greet me…?"
"Hey! That's a terrible thing to imagine!" All Might protested—though, for once, he didn't cough.
"Midoriya… your goal is U.A. High School, correct?"
"Yes!"
Izuku clenched his fist.
"Because… because it's your school, All Might! If I'm going to become a Hero… then I have to go to U.A.!"
"Haha… what a passionate fan!" All Might laughed.
"However—"
"I told you before that being a Hero without a Quirk is not realistic."
"And U.A. is the most difficult path of all."
"…There are ten months until the entrance exam."
"You must transform your body in that time."
"YES!!" Izuku shouted instinctively.
"Then take this!"
All Might handed him a thick stack of papers.
"This is your training plan."
Izuku took it and began reading carefully.
"This plan is designed specifically for you. From now on… your entire life will follow this schedule."
"…So in other words… I have to train even harder than before!" Izuku said, his eyes lighting up.
"To be honest, this will be extremely difficult. Can you handle it?" All Might asked, patting his shoulder.
"…This is intense…" Izuku muttered.
Compared to his own training plan—
All Might's was far more comprehensive and demanding.
And so—
The next ten months began.
"Move it to the park entrance! Load it onto the truck!"
All Might shouted as Izuku dragged a heavy metal cabinet across the ground.
So it really is about using the size and weight of the trash to train my body…
Izuku carried an old tire, still wearing his weighted gear.
If he could adapt to this weight—
Then in battle, he might gain an advantage.
"Hurry up! Ten months will pass in no time!"
At school, Izuku continued his routine.
Listening to class—
While writing notes—
And training his grip strength at the same time.
"…Keeping this up for ten months is tough… but will it be enough?"
"There are 249 days left…"
"If I account for muscle recovery… actual training days might be around 98…"
"At five hours a day, that's about 490 hours total…"
"…And since this training focuses on full-body conditioning rather than specific muscles…"
"…It's effective—but maybe not enough to fully adapt to all combat situations…"
"…If I want to catch up, I need to optimize my self-training too…"
Izuku muttered all of this under his breath.
"…Midoriya."
The teacher's arm suddenly stretched across the classroom—
And knocked him on the head.
"Did meeting that Villain mess up your brain or something? Focus on class!"
"Yes—!" Izuku quickly covered his mouth.
"Tch. He still thinks he can get into U.A."
"Is he serious?"
"That Villain must've fried his brain."
"Pathetic…"
From that day on—
Izuku's schedule became relentless.
Daily Routine:
4:00 a.m. — Wake up, run 20 km
5:00 a.m. — Breakfast
5:40 a.m. — Beach training (trash cleanup & strength)
8:00 a.m. — School (with grip training)
11:00 a.m. — Lunch + rooftop combat training
1:00 p.m. — Afternoon classes (continued grip training)
3:00 p.m. — Run home + self-training
5:40 p.m. — Beach training again
7:00 p.m. — Dinner + homework + diary
7:30 p.m. — Additional training
12:00 a.m. — Shower and sleep
Even weekends were harsher.
Over the months—
Izuku's body began to change.
Not dramatically in appearance—
But his strength, endurance, and resilience had improved far beyond what they once were.
