The spread of rumors had intensified.
I don't really remember the story in great detail, so I might be wrong about this, but things were probably a bit calmer than this.
Multiple group B students were seen in fights with other class students, probably pertaining to those rumors.
While such type of unrest was widespread among first year students, especially group B and A students, as Sakayanagi's class was suspected to be the culprit behind the rumors by Kanzaki and others.
Yet, the school hadn't taken any proactive action against these activities.
That's because, Sakayanagi had already discussed this matter with Council President Nagumo, and had assured that he won't interfere.
On the other hand, Ayanokouji hadn't made his move as well, maybe due to the fact that it was not yet time for the last blow to Ichinose.
'Ichinose Honami is a criminal.'
This rumor was the final blow to her psyche.
She shut herself down completely in her room, and Ayanokouji getting the information of her backstory from Kamuro, sent by Sakayanagi herself, brought back to her senses.
That was the natural course of events.
I stood in front of the vending machine, took out a soda can.
Sudo has been suspicious of the change in my attitude, but couldn't say much, nor did he directly ask.
Ike has been the same.
.......
That reminds me we were supposed to go to karaoke in the evening, but Ike didn't give me a time.
Oh wait.....
I checked my phone and saw a bunch of missed calls and messages, from both Sudo and Ike.
And one of the messages read....
"Dude, where are you?! We're at the North Dorm cafe. Sudo's about to blow a fuse. Sakura chan is here too!"
It was sent 10 minutes ago.
Should I go now?
I hadn't even changed my unifrom.
Oh well.....there is no harm in going out a bit in a while.
Besides, my part here is done.
All that's left is to set things in motion tomorrow.
There was one other message from some else too, the name was familiar, so I decided to leave it unread.

Inside a karaoke room, sat 2 students.
The atmosphere was not exactly cheeery and lively.
It was more likely for a strategy meeting, or some thing along those lines.
One of the students was student council president himself, Nagumo Miyabi.
The other one was a female student from senior year, who was about to pass out from the school.
"Is the information right?", asked Nagumo, seeming perplexed.
"Since when have you started questioning my statements, huh? Nagumo?", the girl replied in a mockingly commanding tone.
"Oh! Don't get too upset, senpai. Its not like I doubt you or anything. Rather the information itself is a bit astonishing to me. So what you are saying is Chairman Sakayanagi has been caught with some corruption case, and a new temporary chairman would join in a few days?", replied Nagumo, in a politely investigative tone.
The girl didn't say anything, but just nodded her head.
"Now then, the meeting is over.", the girl got up immediately, and started to leave.
Nagumo just sat there for a few minutes thinking about the information he just got.
He has not confirmed it yet, but deep down he knew it was true.
Hence he just accepted the fact and left himself.
