Chapter 862 - The Spirit Conquest Journey! Virtual Spirits, Anomalies, and the New Director of DEM

Chapter 862: The Spirit Conquest Journey! Virtual Spirits, Anomalies, and the New Director of DEM

Kurumi's voice dripped with teasing amusement. "As expected of Ren-kun. You've effortlessly charmed the Spirit girls~."

Yoshino lay slumped on the floor, her face flushed completely red, having fainted from sheer embarrassment after being thoroughly 'inspected'. Miku Izayoi, meanwhile, was a panting, shivering mess on the ground; a simple spanking had sent the idol straight into a completely unhinged climax. Nia and Tohka, though less dramatically affected, were already looking at him with unmistakable fondness.

In mere minutes, he had closed the distance with these four Spirits to an absurd degree.

"Flirting?" Kaguya and Yuzuru Yamai exchanged a sharp glance before snapping back in perfect unison. "No way!"

"Denial. We were absolutely not flirted with!"

Suddenly, a spark ignited in Kaguya's eyes. A confident, mischievous smirk curled her lips as she turned to her twin. "Hehe, Yuzuru! Let's make this our next competition!"

"Question. Compete on what exactly?"

"Let's see who can make this guy so hopelessly infatuated that he spins in circles begging for us first! This is a battle of ultimate feminine charm!"

Yuzuru's expression instantly shifted into deadpan seriousness. "Declaration. I will win. My charm is vastly, exponentially greater than yours."

Although they were identical twins, their constant bickering naturally led them into all sorts of bizarre contests. Now, the battlefield was their own feminine allure.

Ren watched their dramatic declaration with a deeply peculiar expression.

'Flirt with me?'he thought, amused.'Isn't that just throwing yourselves at me for free?'

As the twins began striking exaggerated, seductive poses, Ren didn't so much as blink. He crossed his arms, his gaze flat. "It seems neither of you has the slightest clue how actual female charm is supposed to work."

Kaguya and Yuzuru slumped, utterly defeated. No matter how many winks or hip-pops they threw his way, the man remained as unmovable as a mountain.

Naturally, this wasn't just a mindless game. The twins were subtly testing his boundaries. Through this little farce, they confirmed two crucial details: he was entirely human, and he possessed absolutely zero fear of Spirits. That alone piqued their curiosity immensely.

"Inquiry. Then how do you suggest feminine charm should be displayed?" Yuzuru asked, tilting her head.

Ren flashed a wicked, shameless grin. "Come to my room tonight. I'll give you both a hands-on lesson."

Since he planned to stay in this world for a while, he had plenty of time to 'educate' them.

Beside him, Tohka's eyes narrowed into sharp slits. 'I must protect my savior's chastity!' she resolved inwardly, deciding she would stand guard tonight to fend off these two hussies.

Nia's eyes darted back and forth between Ren and the twins, a sly, calculating gleam in her gaze as she plotted her own manga-worthy scenarios.

Kurumi stepped forward, her signature elegant smile firmly in place. "Ren-kun, you can't just focus on teasing beautiful girls. Surely you haven't forgotten the wish I made with the Dragon Balls~?"

"I haven't forgotten," Ren replied, his tone steadying. "There's no need to rush. I will help you solve your problem with the Spirit of Origin, but not right this second."

The very moment Ren had set foot in this dimension, his overpowered senses and administrative privileges had downloaded the fundamental truths of this universe. That included the elusive Spirit of Origin, Mio Takamiya.

What fascinated him was how this reality's timeline diverged from the standard lore he knew. Here, the Spirit of Origin's ultimate goal wasn't merely to revive a dead lover. It was to finally meet a specific, anomalous existence.

'How interesting,' Ren mused silently.

But before he tackled the final boss of this world, he had a checklist of collectibles to gather. With a casual flick of his wrist, the fabric of space-time tore open, revealing a swirling, luminescent portal.

He gestured toward the rift. "Who wants to come on a little trip with me?"

Nia's eyes practically turned into stars. "Little Kurumi, look! It's a literal time portal!"

Kurumi's eyebrow twitched at the childish nickname, rendering her momentarily speechless. But the otaku Spirit was right—the temporal energy radiating off the rift was unmistakable. Ren had casually ripped open a pathway through time itself.

"What exactly are you planning to do?" Kurumi asked, her curiosity masking a hint of caution.

Ren spread his hands in a relaxed shrug. "I told you I'd turn you into a true Spirit, but unfortunately, you're still lacking. So, I'm going to take matters into my own hands and gather some necessary components." He flashed a charming smile. "Coming?"

The conscious girls exchanged uncertain but intrigued glances. Ultimately, their curiosity won out. They stepped toward the portal, leaving behind a completely broken, drooling Miku, an unconscious Yoshino, and Natsumi, who had been desperately using her powers to remain as invisible and silent as a ghost in the corner this entire time.

"Hehe! Yoshinon will take great care of them, don't you worry~!" the rabbit puppet on Yoshino's hand squeaked cheerfully, waving them off.

Ren's expedition wasn't strictly limited to temporal displacement; he also dragged his newly formed entourage straight into a virtual, anomalous dimension. His goal was simple: to claim several highly unique, non-standard Spirits.

First on the list was Rinne Sonogami.

Her true nature wasn't that of a traditional Spirit, but rather a massive aggregate of residual, highly concentrated spiritual energy. Bearing the title of 'Ruler,' she was an anomaly bound entirely to her own localized reality marble—the Eden barrier. For all intents and purposes, she was a Spirit trapped within a simulated world.

Ren, with his absolute power, shattered those limitations. He located her core and effortlessly rewrote her structural data, dragging her out of the illusion and anchoring her into true, physical reality. Overwhelmed by her salvation and his sheer presence, Rinne fell deeply and uncontrollably in love with him on the spot.

But Ren's ambitions didn't end there.

Next came the manager of the fragmented Eden barrier, Rio Sonogami. She manifested as a young girl who cheerfully claimed to be the biological daughter of Ren and Rinne. In truth, she was a brand-new entity born directly from Ren's reality-warping interference. He had taken Rinne's base spiritual signature, infused it with his own heavily modified energy, and reconstructed her into a living, breathing existence.

Following the Sonogami mother-daughter duo, he smoothly brought Maria Arusu and Marina Arusu under his wing. Maria, the highly advanced AI managing the Fraxinus airship, and Marina, the artificial AI Spirit engineered by DEM Industries, were both granted true physical bodies through Ren's system-defying abilities.

He certainly hadn't been idle during this dimensional road trip.

The Yamai sisters, who had practically offered themselves up on a silver platter with their charm competition, were thoroughly and easily conquered during their promised night-time lessons. Nia, caught in a constant, hilarious tug-of-war with Tohka over Ren's attention, eventually surrendered completely, dedicating her heart—and body—to him.

Only Kurumi maintained a stubborn, special brand of persistence.

While her heart had clearly been conquered, and she happily engaged in nearly every form of physical intimacy imaginable, she firmly drew the line at the very last step. She was more than willing to use her soft hands, her delicate, silk-clad feet, and her sweet cherry lips to service his desires, but she vehemently refused to surrender her absolute purity just yet. She insisted, with a teasing yet resolute smile, that she would only fully give herself to him once the Spirit of Origin was dealt with.

Ironically, this restriction only applied to the 'main' Kurumi.

Her temporal clones—the various Kurumis from different timelines—had no such reservations. Behind their original's back, these clones secretly ambushed Ren in the dark, eagerly tearing at his clothes and begging to be thoroughly ravaged. Sadly for them, the main Kurumi quickly caught wind of this blatant insubordination. In a fit of jealous rage, she rounded up her rebellious clones and locked them all in a pitch-black solitary confinement room.

Amidst this rapid expansion of his harem, another unique Spirit anomaly manifested.

She was an entity born directly from the collective stress, jealousy, and intense possessiveness that Tohka and the other Spirits harbored toward Ren. Functioning as a localized system-correction mechanism, her original purpose was to monitor the massive concentration of Spirit mana in one location and judge whether the container—in this case, Ren—was stable.

Under normal circumstances, her fate was a tragic one: to observe, judge, and then quietly fade into nothingness.

However, the catalyst for her birth wasn't some ordinary high school boy; it was Ren. From the very moment she opened her eyes, the person Mayuri loved was him.

Naturally, Ren had zero intention of letting her tragically disappear. A cute, melancholic blonde girl with a side ponytail? If she was free for the taking, he was keeping her. Saving her was child's play for someone of his caliber. Using the exact same method he used to anchor Rinne, he stabilized Mayuri's spiritual core, officially adding the blonde observer to his ever-growing flock of Spirits.

Even as the gaggle of beautiful, overpowered girls surrounding him grew to an absurd number, Ren showed absolutely no signs of slowing down.

His pragmatic, shamelessly lecherous goal remained crystal clear: claim every single Spirit and every beautiful woman in this universe.

Under the exasperated but ultimately helpless gazes of Tohka, Kurumi, and the rest, he continued his conquest. He effortlessly subdued and claimed the Dream Spirit, Ren—a mysterious entity capable of dragging Spirits into a utopian dreamscape. Shortly after, he breached the vacuum of space itself to conquer the emotionally sealed, overwhelmingly powerful cosmic Spirit, Mukuro Hoshimiya.

And as a final, casual stroke of housekeeping?

He located Isaac Ray Pelham Westcott, the sadistic CEO of DEM Industries, and simply erased the man from the very origin of time. With a snap of his fingers, reality restructured itself, flawlessly inserting Ren into the newly vacated position as the absolute Director of DEM.
