That Saturday after the raid on the Yakuza, everyone is called back to U.A from their work studies.
Although the ones from the raid were obviously tired, they still stayed up to tell their part of the story with everyone else. Even Nejire and Mirio showed up at some point to hang out as well, and it was pretty fun.
I, for one, was happy to have Sasha back. Midnight is hot, scarily so, but I don't have anything like what I have with Sasha with her. So, I spent most of the next week just hanging out with her.
We did the usual of eating and sleeping together, normal sleeping, I might add, and Sasha kept Mei company and me as we worked on my new hero suit. She was even able to help with the testing of materials since her quirk gave her claws that tore through more than you'd think.
The only really worrying things this week were what would happen to Eri. I'd already told Nezu all that I remembered about her quirk and how she'd never be safe in the foster system, not with Tomura and the Doctor still running around.
He promised to make sure she was well cared for. I, of course, did my part and told him that Aizawa would be a great parent, and that it'd be a great way to bring Joke closer to her ultimate goal.
There was another concerning thing, but more existential, I guess?
[Multiple gifts from beyond have coalesced into a Random Advantage Mythical Ticket. You have no choice but to use it; this world is responding to your increased power, and the attention it has received.]
[Do not fail.]
That really, really, really, really sounds unfun. I don't like this at all, but it seems the universe has other plans . . . roll it then.
[Spinning, spinning, spinning, done!]
[The Gates of Hell]
|Mythical Ability|
Allows you to summon all but the strongest of infernals from the Underworld; the armies of hell are at your fingertips, to serve under you and obey your commands, such as True Demons, Devils(Chainsaw Man), Efreet Sultans, Greater Daemons(Warhammer), etc. As long as the Demon Servant you summon is equal to or weaker in power than a Legendary Familiar. The demon servant you summon is bound to your will for as long as they are manifested in this world. And you need to constantly supply them with your energy to keep them summoned and allow them to use their abilities. If a summoned Demon Servant is killed, you can still choose to resummon the same ones, as they will reform back in the Underworld. You can further strengthen your demon servants by supplying them with more Magic. You can also summon them to the material realm permanently by performing a sufficient blood sacrifice according to the demons' tier; for a Legendary Demon, the sacrifice of a Legendary Target must be made. Permanent demons no longer need your energy to stay manifested.
So basically one big final 'screw you' to whatever I end up dealing with, I guess.
[Viltrumite]
|Mythical Trait|
Race(Invincible) - You are a Viltrumite, one of the fiercest warrior races of the galaxy. As a Viltrumite, you possess an incredibly powerful body and the ability to freely fly. You are almost invulnerable to most things, but are vulnerable to a specific sound frequency.
Without hesitation, I made my choice. Yes, the Gates of Hell would be so useful to just have in my back pocket, but with the Viltrumite trait, and Stimpacks? I was ready to power level this shit.
As the new power settled within me, the very first thing I noticed was a deep, aching hunger within, and I shot towards the cafeteria. I actually burst through several walls as I struggled to adapt to my new strength.
Thankfully, I didn't turn anyone into mist, but I had started to feel dizzy by the time I reached Lunch Rush. "Are you alright, young man?" He said with concern as I shook my head. "No, do you have anything with more calories than needed?" Lunch Rush nodded, "Yeah, I'll be taking it all, please."
What followed was a display of gluttony that would be spoken about for years at this school. Taking the closest table to Lunch Rush, I shoved food into my mouth at an absurd pace as he personally brought out more and more.
I didn't bother looking at anyone other than my next plate as everyone near me looked on in concern, awe, disgust, and wonder. At some point, Aizawa and Nezu showed up. Lunch Rush must have told them, but I was too busy eating to even hear them.
After maybe an hour of frantic eating, the hunger within was satiated as Lunch Rush and his bot helpers started clearing the mountain of dishes next to me. "What did you do this time?" Aizawa spoke up first as Nezu hopped into the seat across from me.
"I may have become a hyper-efficient murder machine disguised as a human." Is what I could have said, but I settled for something a bit more relaxed. "I got hungry." Aizawa looked very unimpressed as Nezu smiled.
"I'll start ordering special calorie-dense supplements for you. Several other heroes and people in general have had this issue before. I'd rather you not overwork Lunch Rush." He didn't look particularly mad that I ate so much, giving me a thumbs up from behind the counter as several bots tackled the dishes.
"Let's go then," Nezu said as he motioned to Aizawa, and he lifted the principal before placing him on his shoulders. "I'm sure we have more things to talk about. My office is much more comfortable than here." I nodded and followed behind them.
As we walked, I scrolled through the news to see if anything interesting was happening around the world, or in Japan. Despite being glad I got this awesome trait, I didn't like the warning the gacha gave me.
[This world is responding to your increased power and the attention it has received.]
Very ominous in a way that I found uncomfortable. So that's why I was now looking to see if any headlines might give me clues as to what might pop up next. So far, I hadn't seen anything too scary, but one thing did pop out at me.
[U.A Hero Program to have an exchange program with other countries!]
What could go wrong?
"When did this happen?" I asked as we entered Nezu's office. I showed him the headline, and he nodded. "In response to your power and your recent display in Tokyo Bay, several other countries have resumed asking for you, or at least to meet you.
Despite it being public knowledge now that you're a fully licensed hero, many nations are still concerned by the power you've displayed at such a young age. This will be a way for them to see you have no ulterior motives, something that several members of our own nation keep forgetting."
That makes sense. If I were in charge of, say, the U.S or some other country with a coastline, and there was some random teenager who could control water on a massive scale, while also being able to fight side by side with THE All Might, I'd be concerned as well.
"So, what countries are sending students to 'learn'" I asked with clear air quotes, "And whose class are you sticking them in?" Aizawa chimed in as Nezu pulled up a list. "So far, the countries willing to send their best students to get a look at you are few, but powerful."
"We have a trio of students from the United States, they're going to be in Class-B, since they come from the same area that Pony Tsunotori comes from. I don't have quirk information yet, but we'll find out soon enough.
China and South Korea are also sending students, but they'll be going to the Support Course. I've already told Power Loader to move your things and Mei Hatsume's various projects into another area, just in case."
It seems that China still gets funny looks even in the future. I'd seen the history books, though, and China did start BOTH quirk wars, so a little precaution is warranted.
"For the European countries, only two decided to 'test the waters' as it were, the United Kingdom and Germany.
The UK is a tricky situation, since they're sending someone with connections to the Royals, but things should work out. She'll be in Class-A. I know a bit of her quirk, since it's a hereditary one with the Royals, but it'll be fine. Details will be sent to you, Shota.
The German students are also tricky. Though they originally only wanted to send one, something happened, and now they're sending three. I've already been warned that their quirks are very dangerous, two in particular.
To remedy this, they'd asked for permission to send a few instructors of their own whom they trust to deal with any problems their students may have. I'm actually going to interview them later today before making my decision."
Great. I found out what the world is doing to make life harder for me. . .
This should be fun, though. I've always wondered how the rest of the world functioned with their Quirks. The show only focused on Japan, and a little on the U.S., so it would be interesting to see what kinds of quirks the other countries had.
Was I a bit worried the China and US kids would do everything they could to drag me to their side? Yes, but I now had an amazing safety net in place to make sure everything went according to plan. My plan? IDK!
---------------
Another week passed after that, and of course, I wasn't able to tell anyone else about what was planned, at least not the specifics.
Everyone had already figured out that a bunch of new students would be showing up, but so far, Mei and I were the only ones who knew anything else. Even then, we'd only been warned not to talk about certain things and keep things hidden.
Other than that, things had been more relaxed this week. Since Nezu and the staff were organizing things for additional students, as well as spy-proofing everything, both Hero Classes were given more time for study and training.
We still had our normal classes, but our heroic teachers mostly let us do our own things until Aizawa finally gave the big announcement.
"As I'm sure you've already figured out, exchange students will be coming within the coming weeks. As we're still changing things around campus, they won't be here for another month. I expect you all to behave."
Aizawa glared at a few students in particular.
"Also, within the next month is the U.A School Festival. You'll need to work together as a class to figure out what you want to do. This includes planning, requesting what you need, and practicing, depending on what you do.
Your class president will be given the details to figure out, so bother him with your questions."
I then take to the podium and go over the info packet Aizawa left for me. I see a few things that make me pause, but he's already passed out on the floor, so I move on.
"So, does anyone have ideas on what we could reasonably do as a class? Real ideas, by the way, because it says here if we can't come up with something, we have to give a lecture."
That was a half-lie, but it made several raised hands lower as they put more thought into what they would say. Bakugo was obviously the first to come back, saying that we should have a fight club.
"Sparring arena." I corrected as I wrote in on the board, and more ideas came in. Izuku wanted to do a quirk review, basically show and tell with quirks, where little kids could see how they could also be heroes.
A few other ideas were thrown into the mix before I singled out Shoto. "What about you, Shoto? I can tell you've been thinking about something." He pauses before answering. "What if we hold a concert?"
Intrigued, the class listens in as he explains his idea. Even Bakugo doesn't try to shut it down once he learns he'll get to play drums. Shoto actually can get everyone on board as I go through the list of requirements.
"Well, Momo can basically make what we need, and I can fabricate anything else. We have enough musically capable people here, and singing and dancing can be taught. Set-wise, we have plenty of physical quirks to help set things up quickly.
The only problem is the time. With the time given during the day, if we each took time to visit all the other stands and see everything ourselves, we'd be able to put on a concert twice, but we'd still have an entire hour before the morning show.
Any ideas for how we can fill that space?" I asked as everyone got to thinking. Sasha ended up raising her hand. "I have an idea." She gives me a look that makes me nervous, but I let her continue.
"I'm sure the Principal will be using you for security, and keeping you away from anyone who'd pick a fight or freak out seeing you." I nodded. Nezu had already told me what I'd be doing that day. I was the only one of 1-A who wouldn't be a part of the concert.
"Since I'm sure you can keep a grip on things, and things won't fall apart without you, you can sing for everyone before our concert. We can also warn up that way, it would be a good way to clear any performance anxiety as well."
"He can sing?!" Mina, Jiro, Bakugo, and Momo all said at once. I shut it down quickly.
"Nope, not happening. I refuse!" A few days ago, Sasha had 'caught' me singing in the shower. I didn't mind and wasn't really embarrassed, but I wasn't really confident that I'd be able to sing as confidently in front of so many people.
"Quit being a baby! Just do it!" Bakugo snarled as others nodded. "I'm certain that your voice and presence will calm those of us with performance anxiety. As well as presenting a clean image to the public." Ida added helpfully as I grumbled.
Before I could say anything else to dissuade them, the intercom crackled to life as Nezu's cheerful voice came through. "Excellent idea, Ms. Yakovleva! I give my full support for Micah singing before your concert."
I glared at the intercom as Mina and Toru cheered. Sasha just smiled at me as I sighed and moved on to the next thing we needed to worry about. Who'd be singing, and who'd be dancing?
'At least I don't have to dance. . .'

A/N- Storytime! Flight was supposed to be at 3 AM Sunday, checked again only to find it was ACTUALLY at 1:20 AM, SATURDAY. When did I find out? 8:20 PM Friday. I just got back and decided to go with what everyone wanted, Mythical Ticket, and make things harder.
