*2 days later*
Jay's pov:
The school party was upcoming this week. Honestly I was excited. But.....keifer wasn't.
Because the whole school knew that Jason was my partner.
I wanted to make him jealous. No idea why?
But....today nothing felt right.
Canteen felt peaceful for everyone not for me. Today felt off.
I was sitting with mythicals. They were talking. I listened answered when needed.
Jason on my right. Jare on my left. Both glaring at each other.
They fight like tom and Jerry. No offense kuya. If you read my mind using twin telepathy. Don't kill meh!
Then I noticed section E. Keifer was grinning. Smirking.
Why?
Then my eyes fell on her.
HONEY BEE RIDER!
Her hand interlocked in his arm.
My expression was starting to falter.
I took deep breathes.
My expression cold. But my hand grip on the plastic spoon tightened.
The plastic spoon snapped.
The mythicals stopped laughing you. They sensed the tension following my gaze.
Great they all knew. That I love him....
I got up. Ready to walk away from this stupid canteen. I took only 2 steps.
"He doesn't deserve your love" Caroline's voice cut through the silence.
My jaws clenched.
I didn't like it for some reason. But she was right too.....
The cafeteria fell in silence when they noticed me standing.
Arthur shoulder stiffened.
Mia went rigid.
"She is right.....I agree with her for the 1st time" Jare whispered.
My chest tightened.
Why him too?
"Anything else? Anyone else?" I asked my voice low.
The supreme group straightened. Elites stepped away afraid. Local stood frozen.
Eliot stood up, walking towards me. I turned.
"Guys....This might get into a fight" Lia whispered.
I turned facing him.
"Caroline hat Recht. Sie verdienen keine Vergebung. Weder er noch sie." He said in german.
(Translation: Caroline is right. They don't deserve forgiveness. Nor him or them.)
My fist connected to his Jaw. It wasn't hard. But enough to stumble. He didn't fall. The mythicals stood.
"All my life...I never got to make decision of my own. This is my life. I'll decide what I want...." I said. Voice low dangerous.
This was enough for the entire canteen to hear.
The canteen didn't whisper.
Fear.
good.
I looked at Jare.
"Jare....The mythicals has always been divided into 2 groups....the 2 groups always had been rivals but close as friends. Control your group." My voice low.
Again.
Eliot glared. Not angry.
Just....hurt.
"Jean this was too much now" Caroline said. Her tone matching mine.
Jaw clenched.
Savannah stood up.
"How much ever I hate caroline.....you are....getting biased" Savannah looked at me worried.
Sarah has been silent. Sitting in one place.
"ENOUGH!" She slammed on the desk.
"Jay! your our president...your suppose to be a role model."
I flinched. I had totally forgotten about my position.
Sarah turned to the others.
"What do you think you are doing? Making decision for her? How would you feel?" Sarah hissed loud frustrated.
Jason stood up.
"This conversation was pointless Caroline! What are you doing? This is the wrong time." He yelled.
Arthur spoke, still sitting....
"Manipulation.....I think this could have been a soft conversation Caroline...."
Arthur narrowed his eyes.
"This is getting nowhere. We are splitting up and fighting over something that is not worth for!" Lia shouted.
The air around the cafeteria felt heavier but now we felt calmer....which didn't feel right for any of us.
"Jay..... you didn't have to punch. You could have shouted or done anything...other than raising your hand." Mia said. Looking disappointed to see this version of me.
"Sorry....I never wanted to make you see this version of me" I added quitely.
Jare smiled faintly pulling me away from the cafeteria and the fight that had happened.
Mythicals still disappointed...but still friends........
Just felt different for now.
