Putting the bird on top of the table,I went to the cabinet and opened it.
The bird looked around as its eyes filled with curiosity.
"Let's see..."
I opened the drawer where shelves contained jars of dried herbs, bundles of plants.
Rummaging the drawer, I looked at each jar contained every type of plants and all sort of things I have gathered from the forest.
Some are herbs which is for medicine.
While others are poisonous which is for self-defense.
Which I keep it on a separate cupboard, but right now I need some of the poisonous type because we have a special patient.
Phoenix.
"Ah, this one should help. "
Picking a jar which there's dry leaves inside it, I put it on the table and started to make medicine.

The bird just stared at me while I'm doing my job.
"It's been long since I have to treat a patient.... "
In my past life, I took care wild animals that were injured, especially birds.
So, I have knowledge about treating wounded animals.
After done processing the medicine, A few roots spread from my back, picking up a bucket of water.

I beckoned the bird to spread its wounded wings.

In the backyard,there are many type of shelters for animals.
Doghouse, stable, coop, hutch and also nest boxes hanging on the trees while also some of them on the ground.
But the animals which reside in those shelters aren't ordinary.

Inside there, a wolf was resting.
When it sense our presence, It stood up and come out from the doghouse.
"Woof! "

It greeted us as it steps outside where cold chill air can be felt from the wolf.
At the stable, 3 beasts was resting there.
A minotaur was eating the grass lazily.
A giant deer with golden antler was enjoying the breeze.
And a horse with wings on its back, drinking water on a big bucket.
From the hutch,cute rabbits was peaking out from door.
With their fangs poking from their little mouths.

The bird was puzzled as it looked at the scene which is rare for many species to coexist together without any fight.
Of course, in this forest where beast-eat- beast rule was normal everyday.
But there's something which make them live in harmony was because they are in my territory.
They have to follow my rules if they want to stay here.
It's really hard at first but they can accept each other after a few days.
"Ok, this will be your temporary nest."
I put the bird on a large nest which is comfortable for it to rest.
A few little beasts which were playing suddenly stopped as they looked at the little Phoenix and
hiding in their own little house.

I supposed it's normal.
A legendary beast's presence alone can make a normal larger beast would think twice before fighting.
As for the little beasts,they would surely be scared and run away.
"Take a rest and don't pick a fight with the others."

I picked up roots which has absorbed the blood of Phoenix which's contaminated with something.

No, there's no poison that can harm a Phoenix.
But,there's some beasts that can make a Phoenix can't heal and regenerate.
"Venom...from a Basilisk. "
Basilisk.
A legendary mythical reptile.
Known for its lethal gaze,toxic breath and deathly venom.
Of course there might be a natural enemy among Beasts.
"It's weird... "
But for a Phoenix to fight with a Basilisk was rare because of their habitats.
Basilisk often likes places such as river or lakes.
On the other hand, Phoenix likes high mountain peaks.
There's a low chance for these 2 Mythical Beasts to meet each other.
And looking from the wounds on the bird, it's not a wound from a fight between Mythical Beast.
From my experience, I can tell the different between a wound from a beast or a human.
"It's from a human. "
A human dare to injure a Mythical Beast will receive heavy punishment from the kingdom.
But,it doesn't mean everyone will obey and stop anyone from trying to hunt it.
They even use a deadly venom from other Mythical Beast to hinder the Phoenix's regeneration.
If they already prepared this much, they aren't just ordinary people.
They might still pursuing the bird which's wounded even though it has entered the forest.
