Raiden's pink tails perked up straight in mid-air, his ears flicking forward in sudden curiosity.
"Meeting?"
"Yes," Hana said, her raspy voice laced with an ominous, razor-sharp edge that instantly killed his playful demeanor. "Get Kulu and Caspian to the den. I'll go ahead cause I miss my babies."
Raiden blinked, taking in the lethal, unnervingly calm look in her brown eyes. Sensing that testing her temper right now would be a catastrophic life choice, he smoothed his tails down and gave her a quick, theatrical bow.
"Consider it done, love," Raiden murmured, snapping into action as he zipped down the opposite corridor to gather the Dragon King and the falcon.
Hana stepped into the central lift, slapping the sensor pad to take her straight up to the den.
