"Really? There are such advanced educational programs now?" Mom asked in confusion.

"Of course there are." The boy answered immediately.

"You're not lying to me, are you?" Mom's skeptical gaze swept over him.

"I'm not lying." The boy didn't shrink back from her stare. Instead, he puffed out his chest. "Once you buy it, you can supervise me. It really is just a program that teaches swimming!"

"How much is it?" Mom withdrew her gaze and asked.

"$100!" The boy quickly replied. He was secretly delighted inside, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help but curl up.

"$100, huh. That's not expensive." Mom thought for a moment. Signing up for a children's swimming class would cost at least several grand.

This price was indeed not expensive.

But something felt off. Why did this kid look so suspicious? Especially the way he was talking, he could barely hold back his smile.

When did this boy become so enthusiastic about swimming?!

It was too strange.

Thinking of this, the suspicious mother didn't immediately take out the money. Instead, she pulled out her phone from her bag and called her husband.

The boy's heart sank the moment he saw this!

It was over!

His dad knew way too much about this stuff!

Soon, the call connected and his father's voice came through. "What's wrong, honey?"

"Your son suddenly says he wants to learn swimming. I told him to sign up for a class but he refused. He insists on buying some kind of swimming simulator!" Mom replied. "He claims it can teach him how to swim. Is that true or fake?"

"It's definitely fake. I've never heard of any swimming simulator!" His father answered quickly. "This kid is itching for a beating. He must be trying to sneak in to buy games again. Don't believe him!"

"I knew something was weird about him!" Mom snorted coldly, then shot her son a fierce glare. "He even asked me for $100. I almost gave it to him!"

The son lowered his head in shame. His plan had fallen apart.

This was going to be bad. Not only would he not get to play the game, he might even get a mixed doubles beating from both of his parents!!

"Wait, how much?" At that moment, his father's tone suddenly changed subtly.

"100 bucks."

"$100, oh… Ah, yeah, yeah, I remember now. There is such an educational program!" As soon as his father heard the number, he immediately changed his tune.

"..."

"Huh? What's going on with you? Why did you switch sides so fast?!" Mom asked.

"I didn't switch. I really just suddenly remembered!" His father said immediately.

"Our son isn't wrong. I do know about that swimming… uh, I mean educational program. I even watched the demo. The way it explains swimming is really thoughtful and definitely effective!"

"Is it?" Mom asked doubtfully.

"Of course it's real!" His father continued.

"I guarantee that if we buy that swimming simulator, the kid will definitely learn how to swim! To be honest, I've actually wanted to learn swimming myself. Just buy it. We father and son can learn together!"

Hearing this, the son who had been standing to the side with a somewhat despairing look suddenly felt a surge of hope in his heart. His dad really understood him!

"Alright then, we'll talk about it when I get home." Since both father and son had said this, Mom finally chose to believe them and agreed.

"Nice! Thanks, Mom!" The son answered happily. He planted a kiss on his mom's face and skipped away joyfully.

"Shanti, I didn't expect your kid to actually enjoy exercise. My son only knows how to play with his phone all day!" Another woman at the table saw this and couldn't help sighing.

But before she could finish speaking, her phone suddenly rang.

After answering, she heard her son's voice.

"Mom, I want to learn swimming."

For a moment, all four women at the table were stunned.

What was going on? Had a trend of learning swimming suddenly started recently?!

Why did all the kids suddenly want to learn swimming?

IGN (Imagine Games Work) was a multimedia and review website, currently one of the top game media outlets in the world.

It had its own professional and complete game review system. IGN's authority and professionalism ranked among the best in the industry.

As a result, many players would check IGN's score before deciding whether to buy a game.

According to past habits, IGN would release a score for new games a few days after launch.

But this time was an exception. After Silent Hill was released, IGN had remained completely silent.

This immediately made many players unhappy, and they left messages on IGN's website, frantically urging them.

In the eyes of players, receiving a high score on IGN was also a form of glory for a game.

Over the past few days, thanks to Silent Hill's outstanding performance and the massive pre-hype for Subnautica, the newly established New World Studio had already gained a large number of loyal fans.

And it was this group of loyal fans who kept demanding that IGN give a score, acting as if they would tear the site apart if it didn't give a perfect score!
