Chapter 90 - Wang Dong'er, Gu Qiu'er, and Gu Yue

Inside a clean and tidy single dormitory room in the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy, Capital City.

A young girl stood by the window, gazing outside.

The girl had long blue-pink hair that seemed woven from morning glow and clear sky. Her eyes were the same blue-pink gradient, sparkling brilliantly when she looked around, making her very beautiful.

The girl's features were delicate, and although she was still young, her figure was already beginning to take shape.

At this moment, she was wearing the blue and white uniform customized by the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy for every student. Her legs were covered in white stockings, exuding a youthful vitality and showcasing the girl's sprightliness.

This was Wang Donger.

Her gaze swept across the magnificent city outside the window—a metropolis of metal and spirit tool technology, covered by the morning sun.

Towering spirit tool spires reflected dazzling light, and various spirit tool vehicles shuttled through the crisscrossing streets, creating a sense of order vastly different from the place where she grew up.

Instinctively, she sighed in relief, the tension she had maintained for so long finally dissipating.

From the Clear Sky Sect to Maple Leaf City, and finally arriving at Capital City, traveling constantly for several months, she had finally reached this place.

Although it took several months, the journey itself was unexpectedly smooth.

When hungry, she would coincidentally find fruit trees by the roadside or encounter wild beasts she could handle. When tired, she would meet kind people who offered her rides or lodging.

Even when crossing the heavily guarded borders of the Sun Moon Empire, she passed through easily and without incident. In short, her luck was extremely good.

And her purpose for coming to the Sun Moon Empire, to Capital City, was very clear—she was here to find her Big Father and Second Father!

Although her nominal elders all claimed her Big Father and Second Father were dead, she absolutely refused to believe it. She had a premonition that her Big Father and Second Father might just be trapped somewhere and were definitely safe!

And she would personally find the clues and find her Big Father and Second Father!

Joining the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy was the first step.

Although she arrived outside the enrollment season and was slightly younger than the standard age, once she displayed her Radiant Goddess Butterfly Spirit, her Innate full spirit power talent, and her two-ring configuration of one yellow and one purple,

the teachers in the admissions office of the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy immediately admitted her exceptionally.

Just an hour after her entrance physical examination, a senior student arrived, bringing her three sets of Sun Moon uniforms tailored to her size, various matching daily necessities, and introduced her to various information about the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy. It was clear she was highly valued.

Her gaze inadvertently swept over a brand-new spirit tool communicator placed on the bedside table, which was one of her many enrollment benefits.

However, the moment her eyes landed on it, a faint feeling of nausea instinctively arose in her heart, but she quickly suppressed it.

This was a feeling she had possessed since birth; she always had an inexplicable aversion to spirit tools, seemingly stemming from the depths of her Soul. Even looking at them for too long made her uncomfortable.

But as time passed, especially after arriving in Capital City, where spirit tools were ubiquitous, this aversion seemed to lessen somewhat. While it still existed, she could now overcome it better.

Although the students of the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy were primarily Soul Engineers, they were actually divided into two types: spirit tool manufacturers and spirit tool operators.

The former specialized in designing, inscribing, and forging spirit tools, while the latter focused on how to use spirit tools efficiently and accurately for various battles or auxiliary functions.

Students' promotions required passing corresponding Rank assessments. For example, second-year students needed to reach the level of a Rank Two Soul Engineer or a Rank Two Operator, and so on.

If one could graduate from the sixth year with excellent grades, they could directly enter Mingde Hall, the Holy Land for all Soul Engineers, for further study and receive an independent workshop.

She knew that she had a natural repulsion toward spirit tools, so the manufacturing path was impossible for her.

However, spirit tool operation, after this period of forced adaptation, was entirely within her acceptable limits.

"The first step has succeeded. Next, I must diligently study knowledge about spirit tools, improve my strength, and then inquire about Big Father and Second Father."

Wang Donger whispered, took a deep breath, and patted her cheeks, trying to wake herself up.

The momentary relaxation on her face was now replaced by determination.

She was no longer the Clear Sky SectYoung Lord; no one would clean up the messes she made, so she had to learn to solve problems herself, and she had to work hard!

Thinking of this, she glanced at the spirit tool wall clock and realized it was no longer early. She picked up the prepared bread on the desk, bit into it, and hurried out the door.

This batch of new students had already been in school for several months, and she had to redouble her efforts to catch up.

Exiting the room, she quickly ran through the dormitory corridor, still chewing on the bread.

However, just as she was about to rush out the dormitory entrance, two figures suddenly appeared ahead. Realizing she was about to collide with them, Wang Donger froze and subconsciously released her Spirit.

The enormous and magnificent wings of the Radiant Goddess Butterfly instantly unfurled behind her. The wings shimmered with blue, pink, and gold light, appearing dreamlike and illusory.

Using a gentle flap of her wings, her body deftly shot up from the ground, lightly soaring over the heads of the two people, and landing steadily.

"I'm sorry!"

Wang Donger quickly retracted her Spirit, turned back to offer a hurried apology, and continued running toward the teaching building. Academy rules prohibited the use of Spirit and spirit tool flight in certain areas, and she did not want to violate school rules right after arriving.

A moment later, she arrived at the classroom. It was still early. She found a seat and pulled out the thick volume of "Basic Principles and Operational Overview of spirit tools."

Although looking at the complex diagrams and formulas made her feel dizzy and sleepy, she forced herself to read on. However, after only a short while, two figures who entered the classroom one after the other caught her attention.

— It was the two girls she had nearly run into at the entrance earlier.

One girl had black hair and black eyes, her cold demeanor imbued with an inexplicable nobility and indifference, as if she were unconcerned with everything around her.

The other girl was tall and slender, with brilliant golden long hair and eyes as dazzling as rubies. She had a heroic demeanor and was exceptionally beautiful.

Wang Donger recognized them. After a moment of hesitation, she stood up and walked over, introducing herself politely:

"Hello, my name is Wang Donger. I'm very sorry for nearly running into you both at the entrance just now."

Hearing her voice, the two girls stopped.

The black-haired, black-eyed girl calmly observed Wang Donger for two seconds before speaking coolly: "Gu Yue."

The golden-haired, red-eyed girl beside her seemed slightly surprised that the black-haired, black-eyed girl had spoken, but she followed suit and gave her name:

"I am Ancient Autumn."

Her tone was cheerful, carrying a hint of heroic Spirit.

After speaking, the two girls walked directly to the other side of the classroom and sat down.
