GA:Chapter 47 – Speculations on "Realms" and Glowing Cuisine?

Over the next few days, Bai Xuan spent his time honing the proficiency of his Armament Haki through continuous battles with mutant beasts. Naturally, he didn't waste their corpses either. With the gradual revival of spiritual qi, the quality of the meat from these creatures had improved noticeably.

Over time, both Bai Xuan and Su Yue grew increasingly picky. Ordinary food barely satisfied them anymore. It wasn't just a matter of taste—the physical and spiritual fulfillment granted by spiritual qi-infused meat was something ordinary food could never match.

Su Yue, having consumed these mutant beasts over the past few days, had grown significantly stronger. Her internal spiritual qi had accumulated to a bottleneck.

And today, as she trained diligently to absorb it, something unusual happened. First, a puzzled expression crossed her face. She closed her eyes, and with the sound of something shattering, a surge of spiritual qi rushed toward her like a tidal wave, pouring into her body.

But it only lasted for half a minute before everything calmed down.

"Is… this a breakthrough?"

Su Yue opened her eyes, confusion clear in her gaze.

"Should be," Bai Xuan replied. He had appeared silently beside her, observing with interest.

"No cultivation method… yet your body hit a bottleneck and still managed a breakthrough. The process stirred the spiritual qi of heaven and earth, flooding into you. That's your strength ascending to a new tier. Fascinating."

"You've never experienced a breakthrough before?" he asked.

Shaking her head faintly, Su Yue admitted, "No. I didn't even know breakthroughs were possible. This is… the first time."

Bai Xuan nodded thoughtfully, planning to ask Huoyou about it later. Su Yue's talent, while decent, required constant consumption of mutant meat to trigger breakthroughs. Others with her aptitude might need more time.

As for him—he had long stopped considering himself normal. Before reaching godhood, bottlenecks simply wouldn't exist for him.

"A breakthrough?" Huoyou looked bewildered. "Is that even a thing? Without a cultivation method?"

"Seems like you haven't experienced it either," Bai Xuan observed.

"Could it be talent-related?"

Bai Xuan stroked his chin, analyzing. "Those with exceptional talent might awaken directly into a certain realm. Like you—your ability emerged with surprising strength. Any creature you summon can easily crush ordinary awakened beings. Su Yue's talent is good, but still far below that level. She's only breaking through now because of the mutant meat; otherwise, it would have taken longer."

"Any official information?" Huoyou asked uncertainly.

"There should be, given how many people there are," Bai Xuan replied. "I've been busy training and dealing with the spiritual qi bureau. I'll check for the data later."

"By the way… does eating mutant meat really increase spiritual qi and speed up cultivation?" Huoyou's tone carried a hint of resentment. "Why didn't you send me some? We agreed before… and now you're hoarding it with Su Yue?"

Bai Xuan coughed awkwardly. "I did… save some. But not much. You know, appetite is hard to control."

"Hmph! You just forgot, didn't you? Fine, I'll let it slide. Su Yue is training, not indulging," Huoyou snapped.

"Yeah. The goal is refining her mindset, strengthening her skill and combat experience. Right now, her focus shouldn't be on eating too much mutant meat. Her techniques matter more than raw power."

"Fine. Halve her share of the meat, and leave the rest for me," Huoyou commanded, exercising her authority without hesitation.

Bai Xuan shrugged. "Doesn't matter to me. If you want her to agree, convince her yourself." He left the negotiation to them; after all, Su Yue could argue her case if she wanted.

The spiritual qi revival had just begun. Clear classifications for abilities and cultivation levels hadn't been established yet.

Still, some gifted individuals in the military district had already experienced breakthroughs under training. The likes of Huoyou, Qin Tian, Ye Feng, and Chen Changsheng—top-tier geniuses—hadn't yet touched their bottleneck but were already far stronger than those who had.

Bai Xuan's speculation was confirmed: after awakening their powers, these prodigies had surpassed multiple tiers, reaching a level ordinary awakened beings couldn't touch.

Exactly what tier they were in would only be known when someone progressed further. But there was no doubt—anyone matching Huoyou or Qin Tian's strength would also ascend to a new realm.

They were geniuses. The absolute top in all of Huaxia. Aside from Bai Xuan, no one else came close.

Once Bai Xuan confirmed Huoyou's insights, he no longer considered himself human in comparison.

Of course, the era of spiritual qi revival inevitably meant the rise of extraordinary systems.

Talented individuals could use spiritual qi to develop unique cultivation systems, combat techniques, or methods to enhance their bodies. Martial arts manuals, mystical formations, body-enhancing methods, cultivation guides—none of it was impossible.

In this era, anyone with enough talent and imagination could achieve the impossible. Only a lack of knowledge could stand in your way.
