GA: Chapter 95: Tony Stark: I Think We Need to Have a Serious Talk
Elemental form was powerful — but it was far from invincible.
Ordinary Group Leader: "Fair enough, that does make sense."
Ordinary Group Leader: "Still feels a bit unreal though. How has he even lived this long?"
If it really was the Dugu Qiubai from before the Divine Eagle era, that was one thing — but in a standard martial arts world, how had he lasted this many centuries?
Child of Nature: "Who knows. But longevity isn't unheard of in martial arts worlds."
Child of Nature: "Or perhaps Dugu Qiubai broke through to a new realm of swordsmanship entirely, and that extended his lifespan."
Dongfang Bubai: "Probably something like that."
Dongfang Bubai: "I just felt that Master's power was somewhat beyond what I'd imagined."
Truthfully, Dongfang Bai didn't particularly care which era her master was from. He was her master — that was enough.
As for longevity, it had never been something she dwelled on much. And now that the chat group existed, she thought about it even less.
Wanting to live longer? A single year of lifespan cost just ten thousand points in the shop.
Even from sign-ins alone, a good streak could net that in a year. And that wasn't even counting all the martial arts manuals she'd been collecting.
Worst Spirit: "Speaking of which — isn't Tendou Souji's world part of a whole franchise?"
Worst Spirit: "The memory copy was labeled 'Kamen Rider,' right? Aren't there other series with different Kamen Riders as the main character?"
Ordinary Group Leader: "There are — quite a few, actually."
Ordinary Group Leader: "Though I haven't watched most of them. Mostly the Heisei era ones."
Ordinary Group Leader: "Worth mentioning though — Tendou Souji might not be the strongest Kamen Rider out there, but he is absolutely, without question, the most theatrical."
Tendou Souji: "..."
Lighthouse Richest: "Now that I think about it, Tendou and Daigo are actually pretty similar — both fighting monsters, just one deals with kaiju and the other with alien creatures. Both transform too: one's a Kamen Rider, the other's an Ultraman."
Lighthouse Richest: "Though Tendou started at max level and Daigo grew into his power gradually."
Lighthouse Richest: "But at the end of the day, both of them protect people and save the world."
Be My Son: "I'd say I'm basically starting at max level now too, more or less."
Between the two Giant Stone Statues and the points he'd earned recycling kaiju carcasses, he'd picked up quite a haul from the shop.
Boxing, Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do, even Uchiha Madara's taijutsu techniques — on top of a Sage Body and the Sharingan. In terms of pure physical combat, there probably wasn't a human form alive that could match him now.
As for Tendou Souji's other talents — cooking included — he was still a bit lacking there. But with enough points, he could fix that whenever he wanted.
Not that he had any desire to become a second Tendou Souji. He did enjoy watching the man's theatrical moments, though.
Should he try the single-finger-pointed-to-the-sky pose?
The thought crossed his mind — then he dismissed it immediately.
People were different. He simply didn't have it in him to deliver those lines with a straight face the way Tendou did.
Way too embarrassing.
Ordinary Group Leader: "By the way — now that the group shop is open, have you all gotten a lot stronger?"
Ordinary Group Leader: "Before the shop, the strongest in the group was probably Daigo after transforming into Tiga, right? Is that still the case? Selling kaiju carcasses seems like it earns a ton of points."
Lighthouse Richest: "Why aren't you asking me?"
Ordinary Group Leader: "???"
Ordinary Group Leader: "Did you team up with Wakanda or something? Wait, no, that doesn't make sense."
Ordinary Group Leader: "Did I even send out a Black Panther memory copy? I genuinely have zero memory of that."
Lighthouse Richest: "???"
Lighthouse Richest: "What I was going to say is that I'm one of the POOREST people in this chat group."
Lighthouse Richest: "Black Panther? Wakanda?"
Lighthouse Richest: "Group Leader, I think we need to have a serious talk. You really ought to send out the full storylines from my world — like, all of them. Starting with whatever this Black Panther situation is."
Beyond the Iron Man storyline, everything else from his world had only come up in passing — snippets the Group Leader had casually mentioned during conversations. Things like the purple guy and the Infinity Stones.
Actual memory copies? She hadn't sent a single one.
Ordinary Group Leader: "Hehe, next time for sure."
Child of Nature: "In terms of points, first place is probably Tenshi Hikari."
Child of Nature: "As the current heir apparent of the angel civilization, the resources behind her are beyond anything we can picture. And if I had to guess, those points aren't just being spent on herself — they're fueling the entire angel civilization."
Child of Nature: "Though if Thor the Shiba Inu started selling things from the Shinkocchou Seihou world, that might change the picture."
Child of Nature: "In terms of raw power rankings — the strongest in the group right now is Thor, with Tenshi Hikari in second."
Child of Nature: "Third is probably Daigo. After that I'm not sure."
Child of Nature: "It's hard to gauge where Uchiha Madara, Whitebeard, and Kurumi currently stand."
Child of Nature: "If lifespan could be absorbed and recycled, Kurumi would probably be even more terrifying — but it can't."
Otherwise she could just exploit the dog sigil as an infinite bug.
But the chat group would never leave something like that in.
Lighthouse Richest: "To be fair, when an entire top-tier cosmic civilization is pouring everything into nurturing someone, it'd be embarrassing if her growth was slow."
Lighthouse Richest: "The dog checks out too — it's a comedy anime, after all."
Glory of the Northern God: "Shiba Inu evil grin .jpg"
Glory of the Northern God: "You're weaker than a dog."
Lighthouse Richest: "DAMN IT!"
Lighthouse Richest: "I genuinely want to beat you up — I've felt this way from the very start!"
Lighthouse Richest: "You just wait, Shiba Inu!"
Tony Stark had never gotten along with this dog — not since the very first day it had interrupted him mid-flow when he'd joined the group. The irritation had never left.
If the dog didn't actually have some real ability to back it up, he'd have already challenged it to a fight in the Iron Man armor.
Hmph.
Sure, he couldn't beat this Thor.
But his world's Thor? That was a different story.
One day — he was going to give that guy a thorough pounding.
Meanwhile, in Asgard, Thor had absolutely no idea that someone had developed a grudge against him purely because of his name — and that his own future behavior would earn him a very satisfying beating.
Ordinary Group Leader: "With the chat group around, everyone's going to keep getting stronger — that's basically guaranteed."
Ordinary Group Leader: "It's just a matter of pace."
High-Martial World.
Su Yunqing rested her chin in her hand, thinking.
She was still too weak.
Among the younger generation in this corner of the world she wasn't bad — but compared to the top prodigies from the major cities, the gap was uncomfortably wide.
Never mind dominating her generation — even standing alongside those people felt like a stretch right now.
Of course, she had full confidence that the chat group would let her close that gap and surpass them before long. But they weren't who she should be measuring herself against.
Her real benchmark was the people in the chat group.
