Chapter 63 - Chapter 63: Two Worlds Inside and Outside the Capital

Tsunade looked at him seriously and instructed him solemnly:

"Remember, absolutely do not use Wood Release in front of the higher-ups. They have gone mad and will do anything for Wood Release."

"If you are exposed, just say you have the Senju bloodline. At that time, pin it on me; say that I confirmed it. If those old men have any objections, tell them to come find me."

After listening, Aoki Yoru bowed deeply to her. "I will remember that. Thank you, Lady Tsunade, for saving my life."

Tsunade waved her hand and turned to leave.

Seeing her about to leave, Aoki Yoru immediately called out to her, "Um, Lady Tsunade."

Looking at Tsunade, who turned her head to look at him with confusion, Aoki Yoru rubbed his hands together. "Um, there should still be some of the White Zetsu arm left, right? Can you return it to me?"

Tsunade looked at him as if he were an idiot. Someone actually dared to ask her for things, and she said righteously:

"None left, it's all used up."

Aoki Yoru's mouth twitched upon hearing this. Even counting what was used for experiments, there should still be more than half left. Unfortunately, looking at Tsunade's expression, he wouldn't be getting it back. Fortunately, he had only taken out one arm.

Watching his expression, Tsunade looked at him playfully and said:

"You brat are quite cunning. Don't tell me you don't have any more on you. Also, the cut on the White Zetsu arm still has your Lightning Release Chakra remaining on it."

Hearing this, Aoki Yoru's mouth twitched. He had been careless. He would have to buy a butcher knife in the future to avoid being found out by anyone.

Tsunade didn't waste any more words and pushed the door open to walk out.

"Shizune, let's go. A new casino opened in the west of the city. I heard they have some very novel ways to play. Let's go and check it out."

Shizune wailed as she followed.

Seeing Aoki Yoru walk out full of energy, the others showed knowing smiles.

Previously, in order not to expose the White Zetsu arm, Tsunade had isolated everyone under the guise of surgery.

"Brother Yoru, congratulations on your recovery." Nao rushed up and congratulated him excitedly.

Aoki Yoru touched her hair with gentle eyes. Jiraiya had told him that Nao had given up a lot for him.

If before it was just pity, plus her identity as a member of the Uzumaki Clan, thinking he might need her in the future, which is why he brought her back to Konoha, but now he truly regarded her as a younger sister.

"Congratulations, you've finally recovered," Jiraiya came up and patted his shoulder.

"You must be careful in the future. Don't just barge into anywhere. You were lucky this time; I happened to be gathering material in the Town of Hot Water."

Aoki Yoru bowed gratefully, "This time it was all thanks to Senior Jiraiya. Otherwise, I really would have gone down to meet the First Hokage."

"But, Senior Jiraiya, how did your leg heal so quickly?"

Aoki Yoru looked at his perfectly intact leg with confusion. Given Tsunade's personality, she wouldn't treat him unless it was a fatal wound.

"Haha!"

Jiraiya laughed guiltily and looked at Tsunade, who was walking further and further away. Jiraiya whispered:

"That woman Tsunade used my name to borrow from all the loan sharks in the capital, then healed my leg, saying it was for medical expenses."

"I'm currently being hounded by those loan sharks for debt. Staying behind was just to see if your injury improved, and to borrow some money from you to leave this place. Don't worry, next time my cut comes in, I'll pay you back with interest."

"Heh!"

Who didn't know whom? Checking on his recovery was fake; borrowing money was the real motive.

However, Jiraiya had helped him a lot, so he didn't refuse and took out 100,000 ryo from his pocket and handed it to him.

Watching Jiraiya seriously take the coins, wrap them in a handkerchief, and place them in his inner lining, Aoki Yoru found it hard to believe.

Jiraiya was a famous author for decades; just his royalties were a huge sum of money. To be so strapped for cash now, it seemed Tsunade had taken everything down to his underwear. How ruthless.

Immediately, he couldn't help but shiver, swearing fiercely in his heart: 'I will never be a simp in the future.'

"I'm leaving first, otherwise those loan sharks will sniff me out." After speaking, he jumped out of the window cleanly and neatly.

Watching Jiraiya's disappearing figure, Aoki Yoru shook his head with a smile and looked at Nao, "Let's go, Brother will take you to eat something delicious."

"I just ate eel rice with Sister Shizune a while ago, I'm stuffed." As she spoke, she patted her protruding little belly, a happy smile on her face. Being able to eat her fill had always been her wish.

"What kind of staple food is that? This bad habit needs to be changed. Let's go, Brother will take you to the Yan Capital Imperial Garden. It is said that the food inside is what the Daimyo uses to entertain dignitaries from various countries."

Then he took little Nao toward the Yan Capital Imperial Garden. He had heard the name of this hotel while traveling in the Ninja World, which was somewhat similar to the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse from his previous life.

In his previous life, he was a loser who had never even seen the gate of the State Guesthouse. Now he wanted to be indulgent for once and experience the scenery he never had a chance to touch before.

Just as they stepped into the gate of the Imperial Garden, a waiter led the two into an elegant private room. Aoki Yoru waved his hand and ordered a table full of delicacies from the Ninja World.

An hour later.

"Hiccup—"

Walking on the road with a waddling gait, Aoki Yoru hiccuped and couldn't help but sigh, "It really lives up to its reputation. This taste is truly unique. Powerful and wealthy people really know how to enjoy themselves."

"It's a pity I won't have the chance to experience the taste inside the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. It should taste even better, after all, it's a great country of cuisine!"

Behind him, little Nao stuck out her round little belly, imitating Aoki Yoru's waddling gait, savoring the taste just now with a happy face.

"Brother Yoru, it's so delicious. Nao has never eaten such delicious food. Will we come to eat here again in the future?" After speaking, she smacked her lips, reluctant to let go of the taste in her mouth.

Aoki Yoru waved his hand grandly, "Of course, I'll bring you again next time."

Although he said that, he still felt a bit of heartache. He didn't expect it to be so expensive; one meal cost the reward of an S-rank mission.

However, since he was living a second life, he should be carefree and indulgent. To be stingy and wrong himself, wouldn't that mean he came here for nothing?

Over the next few days, Aoki Yoru took Nao to have a wild time all over the capital of the Land of Fire.

It was worthy of being the most prosperous capital in the Ninja World; it had everything for eating, drinking, and playing. But what surprised him was in the aristocratic area in the East District.

Every street and alley there was filled with a vibrant modern atmosphere; refrigerators, washing machines, cameras, etc., were all available.

Even on several main roads in the East District, light rail trains were carrying nobles smoothly through the buildings.

In the city center stood a super-large amusement park; the music of the carousel mixed with the roar of the roller coaster, drifting far, far away.

'It seems the Ninja World isn't lacking in development; it's just that there's no need to cater to the commoners.'

If the East District was similar to the 21st century of his previous life, then the rest of the capital was similar to the 1960s, while outside the capital was the feudal era.

Aoki Yoru hadn't expected the wealth gap in a country to be so large. In his previous life, that would at least be a span of a century.

For this wealth gap, one should be thankful that this world is a world with superpowers, where individual martial strength overrides the state; otherwise, a peasant uprising would have happened long ago.
