Cherreads

Chapter 1 - Prologue

My eyesight was hazy, the world was dull as it looked upside-down. My body felt light as I watched those greedy large and fat birds pluck their beaks into the foggy water. A cool chilly breeze ghosting over the skin on my face.

Was I hanging dead? Tied by my feet to a pole in the middle of nowhere.

Was I left to die or was I already dead?

I can't move, I can't blink, I can't speak. I guess that answers all my questions.

As if accepting my fate already, I let my consciousness slip away. The last thing I witnessed was that big and round geese spreading it's dark gray feather across the expanse, kicking up water droplets as it took off.

What the fu- ?!!!

The "old ladies" arm extendedly creepishly toward me, longer than it usually should be for a human. I watched as the flesh on the arm twist in my direction after I narrowly ducked it.

I turned around, running as sweat started raining off my body as I quickly observed the store.

All my co workers and every customer did not react or pay attention to the "old lady"

However, it was like WE didn't exist to the real world at all.
