Angel's pov
I woke up in time thankful for that because from past few days I was always late for work . After waking up I got freshen up and went downstairs for breakfast. I saw my mom in the kitchen and my brother was getting ready for school. " Good morning grandma " "Good morning " she replied and hugged me back. After having breakfast I was leaving for work when my mother said " All the best" " You didn't even care when I was sick so now stop pretending" after saying this I went to work.
At Office
" God please! Please! Please! Save me from that idiot boss of mine" I was praying while walking towards my office. "Wait a sec right now boss will be in a meeting and I don't have to go to him for any schedule checking. Today's day is in my favour".

It wasn't like she hates him but due to her own feelings which she doesn't like towards him and after her father's little words about her boss made her to avoid him. Her avoiding him like plague continued for a week and the only conversation they had was about schedule and then she would try her best to avoid him.
And here Edward wasn't able to understand what's going on with her. He was in a meeting and his mood was already pissed because of the hide and seek game he and his secretary were playing for last two week. He is in a meeting and its like he is on fire shouting at employees and all. After meeting he called his secretary in his cabin when he entered she was already there. He came towards her and took out his coat went towards his desk. "Miss Angel" he said while loosening his tie" You have been dodging me." "Just focused , sir" she said while her heart was racing. " On playing hide and seek with me" he said while coming towards her. " No sir" he smirked seeing her so restless " Liar". He held her wrist remove the long sleeves from her wrist and saw a mark. " How did this happen" he asked while rubbing his finger tips gently on the mark. She cursed under breath remembering her fight with her father last night. "Uhh its just I fell yesterday" "Hmm doesn't look like it "
"Did someone hurt you , Miss Angel" he said removing hair strands from her forehead. " No I am telling you its just from my clumsiness" " Alright". I thought its because of me from our last encounter in alley" " You can never hurt me" "Wanna bet" he smirked. She was scared her dad's words started ringing in her head but someone knocked on the door and Edward retreat. She sighed in relief. It was jack with reports and she meantally thanked him.
She came to get a coffee for herself and but jack cornered her there and " I see things have gotten pretty serious between you and boss" " What?" " But boss is not someone you should be fantasizing about princess" she kicked him away " Think about yourself not me" and walked away. While walking she was thinking " what has happened to everyone here. Everybody is like warning me" Iam pissed off from everyone. And above all of that the biggest idiot of my life I will ruin hum. It was satisfying seeing him being ignored. My whole week was so peaceful and now he is starting to corner me again huh. That attention seeker" she was ranting all of this without knowing someone is listening to all of this. " Oh I see" shive ran down her spine as she heard the voice of the only person she wished she didn't wanna hear. She didn't dare to turn around but her mind told her to run away and she did it thinking its nice to run rather than seeing his wrath again. She ran like her life depends on it.
After coming back she went directly to sleep but her mind was full of the only person she didn't want to think about this time. "He will kill me tomorrow . Agghhhhhhhhh. Why did I run away now he again got a chance to tease me". " I see you're avoiding him . That's for the good" her father said leaning towards the door. " Get out" she shut the door on his face and locked it. After dinner she went to sleep as after her working for whole day she was tired.
After a refreshing sleep she woke up and went to work. She had to go to his cabin for discussing today's schedule. She was outside his cabin's door encouraging herself for the encounter with the devil.
After giving herself motivation for fifteen minutes she finally knocked on the door and heard the voice " come in" from inside. After having deep breath she entered his cabin and stood in front of him. He saw her and said " Oh I thought you will ask someone to come here on your behalf" and she remembered convincing others to do that but most of then said " Boss is not in his right mind from few days" "Well he is always not in his right state of mind" she thought to herself. "Why do I get the feeling you're considering me insane now" he said and she widened her eyes in disbelief " Guess I was right. So now you got bored playing hide and seek with me like a little fox?" He started coming towards her and she was walking backwards but then her back hit the door and he put his arms on either side of her face and locked the door. " It's not like that sir" " Not calling me idiot right now " she lowered her head " I am sorry sir its not like what it seems" " Oh then please explain Miss Angel its like Iam all ears" " Iam sorry sir please forgive me this time I will not call you an idiot next time" she shut her eyes tightly and when she got no response from she opened her one eye and when she saw him looking at her intensely she closed it again. " You like to stay away from me right?" He asked a seriously " No sir its not like that" " I was so pissed at you for the little stunt you pulled. But now lets grant your wish " he said backing away from her. She opened her eyes and looked at him with confused eyes " You want to ignore me that's fine I will not bother you from now on and will not interfere in your life" she was shocked . After discussing schedule she came back to her cabin and was feeling weirdly sad as she wanted him to stay away from her but now that he has said it it was making her feel upset. The feelings she had towards him were now surfacing but too stubborn to accept it. " Huh I don't care" after her office day she came back to her home and her father and grandma were having an argument when she heard the commotion she ran towards them . " That was your father' s property. How could you do this?" " Do not shout at me" " What happened ? she asked and both of them looked at her . " He sold your grandpa's one of the property" Angel was very angry and she said " How could you do this? Are you mad? " "Shut up" " You're such a psychopathic idiot " She shouted. And there comes a slap on her face and her lip started bleeding. " I wish you never came back" and she went inside her room closing the door harshly. She was crying in her bathroom and after that she didn't have her dinner and went to sleep directly. In her dream she saw a boy who was playing with her in the park then a sudden horn and a car coming towards her and crashing sound. She woke up immediately and saw herself sweating. " What a weird dream" she said and went to take a bath.
After getting ready she went to office without having breakfast. As she entered she saw a new girl was talking to her boss. She didn't say anything and entered her cabin. After sometime her boss called her and said " Meet Miss Ariana she will be my new personal secretary and you don't need to directly come to me you can send her with any information and also instruct her about everything" Angel ' s eyes were about to pop out with the disbelief but she didn't say anything. Edward smirked after seeing her reaction and said " You will right?" " Yes sir" she said. After that she went to her cabin and Ariana was following her behind. " I hope you will teach me everything " she said and Angel smiled at her. In lunch time they were having their meal in cafeteria peacefully but her boss came and asked " Miss Ariana we have a lunch meal with a business partner" and went away with his new secretary but during that time also his eyes were on his Angel who has a scar on her lips and it made him clench hus jaw in anger. For few days, it went like this Edward was always ignoring her going on meals with his new secretary and forgot about her existence. He will give lots of work and will make her work like hell. She was feeling mixed emotions like jealously, sadness and anger because of his behaviour but didn't say anything. Today she was not feeling well but rather than staying home tolerate her father going to office was a good idea. She was having cramps because of her mensis and she has not eaten anything since yesterday and so she was feeling very weak even her face was pale. After entering inside Jack wished her good morning and they were having a little argument as he was teasing about the recent scenario of new secretary. Edward saw this from afar and tighten his fist while walking back to hus office. He called her to his cabin asked about yesterday's files and reports. When she handed it over and he read it he became angry and shouted at her" What is this? Is this how you work? All of this is trash. Go and do it again. After all this her became watery and she went to her cabin and started doing her work but due to all of this commotion she forgot to have her lunch. Here Edward was feeling restless due to his behaviour in morning and he also didn't see her in cafeteria so he was worried about her as she was not looking okay. So he tried to look towards her cabin but failed because her cabin's curtains were on. And Angel was really not feeling okay she was having cramps she did take her meds but due to empty stomach its not working and after her morning encounter with her boss she was feeling really sad and her face was like she is about to cry but restrain herself. " What does he think of himself. Now I will never speak to him". After all the work in evening she gave her all reports to her boss and was about to leave but fainted halfway. Edward took her into his arms and put her on couch and called the doctor.
" She has low sugar level, seems like she hasn't eaten anything. When she will wake up give her something to eat." " Okay doctor". " Now I will take my leave and let her rest". After the doctor left Edward was staring her lying on couch and was feeling guilty about behaving like that but also feeling rage inside because of her carelessness. " How can she starve herself?" After few hours Angel woke up and saw Edward standing infornt of the glass wall in his cabin and staring outside. She didn't want to confront him or talk to him so she decided to leave with out getting noticed by him but as she stood up she fell down " Ahh" due to her wincing Edward came out of his trance and ran towards her. " What happened? " and started checking her for any injuries and when he found none he said" Doctor has advised to take rest so stop being so stobburn and stay still". " I don't wanna talk to you." After sighing he said " I know I have done mistake I shouldn't have shouted at you but atleast don't take it out on food. Stop being childish." And here she starts punching him on chest " How could you shout at me and of all days n..n..now.. when Iam having my periods and my hormones on peak. Also you're ignoring from so many days now why are you here go na" He hugged her gently and calmed her down after that he ordered food for her and she ate without any complaints . After having dinner she ran away from his cabin to home still being angry on him. " Wow looks like she is really angry".
