(kiki is kaya)
Jay POV
The moment the private jet landed in London—
the children lost all remaining patience.
"ARE WE THERE?!"
"We literally landed two seconds ago," Kath replied instantly.
Kyle pressed his face dramatically against the window.
"It's cloudy."
"We're in London," Kai said calmly. "What did you expect?"
Kanya gasped excitedly while fixing her jacket.
"Oh my God we're actually here."
Meanwhile Kaya quietly watched the city outside the window without saying anything.
Unlike the others, she wasn't loud about her excitement.
She just sat there silently, blue-gray eyes focused on the city lights outside the glass.
Then suddenly—
Thyme groaned dramatically from behind us.
"I already regret coming here."
Gorya looked at him suspiciously.
"And why exactly?"
Thyme leaned back lazily.
"If we stayed home with Aran not around… he probably would've gotten a sibling by now."
The entire jet froze.
Absolute silence.
Even the children looked confused.
Then Kevin nodded seriously beside him.
"Honestly? Same."
Kanning blinked once.
Twice.
Then slowly turned toward Kevin.
Gorya did the exact same thing toward Thyme.
The dangerous silence lasted exactly three seconds.
Then—
both women removed their shoes at the exact same time and threw them.
Direct hit.
THAK!
"OW—"
"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"
Everyone burst into laughter instantly.
Kyle nearly fell off the seat laughing.
Ren looked like he couldn't breathe anymore.
Even Kaya covered her mouth quietly while trying not to laugh.
Meanwhile Gorya crossed her arms.
"You both deserve worse."
Kanning nodded immediately.
"Much worse."
Kevin rubbed his head dramatically.
"I was supporting him!"
"Wrong decision," Kath said instantly.
The airport staff were already waiting by the private runway when we stepped outside.
Cold wind immediately hit everyone.
Kyle looked personally offended.
"Why does the air feel expensive?"
Aran started laughing loudly.
Kanya pulled her hoodie tighter while bouncing excitedly beside me.
"This feels like a movie."
Behind us, MJ carefully helped Aum walk down the stairs of the jet like she was made of glass.
"I can walk by myself."
"I know."
"Then stop holding me like I'm going to explode."
"You are carrying twins. That's basically an explosion with a timer."
Aum stared at him.
Ren immediately started laughing.
Meanwhile the kids were already distracted again.
"LOOK AT THE CARS!"
"OH MY GOD THAT HOTEL LOOKS HUGE!"
"I CALL WINDOW SEAT!"
"We're not even inside the van yet!"
Chaos.
Complete chaos.
And somehow—
I smiled.
Because moments like this reminded me how alive everything still was.
Keifer POV
London was colder than expected.
The children, however, acted like they had just entered another universe.
Grazel stood near Denzel while holding Solorex tightly in her hand as she stared around the airport quietly.
Unlike the other children running around excitedly—
Grazel stayed calmer.
More observant.
Just like Grace.
Prysha was already challenging Kyle to random competitions before we even left the runway while Percy desperately tried stopping them.
"I bet I can outrun you."
Kyle crossed his arms immediately.
"This isn't even your sport."
"Speed is universal."
percy nodded once.
"That actually makes sense."
Prysha pointed proudly.
"See? I'm right."
Honey sighed tiredly.
"We landed five minutes ago and you're already starting."
Nearby, Aeron nearly got himself banned from the airport within ten minutes.
"AERON DON'T TOUCH THAT!"
"I was curious!"
"YOU SAT ON THE LUGGAGE BELT!"
Arielle sighed beside me while fixing her skating bag carefully.
"I don't know him."
"You literally share DNA," Angelo replied.
"Unfortunately."
Ion started laughing immediately.
Kael calmly walked beside Edrix carrying his own swimming bag properly while Nico somehow made friends with one of the airport security guards already.
Mayo and Kit looked genuinely traumatized.
"Nico."
"What?"
"Why are you talking to strangers again?"
"But he looked lonely."
The security guard looked emotional for some reason.
Meanwhile Yuna looked innocent while secretly teaching Zayne how to slide across the polished floor in socks.
The two children moved across the airport like tiny penguins.
David looked horrified.
"WHY ARE THEY MOVING LIKE PENGUINS?"
Sara immediately grabbed Zayne before he crashed into a wall.
Little Elio followed the older kids around stubbornly despite Felix carrying him half the time.
"I CAN WALK."
"No, you'll disappear."
"I'M FAST."
"That's the problem."
And Astra?
Astra was staring thoughtfully at airplanes outside the giant airport windows.
"If planes can stay balanced in turbulence because of pressure distribution then technically—"
"No," Aries said immediately.
"I didn't finish."
"The answer is still no."
Ella burst into laughter while Astra looked personally offended.
Then somehow—
the girls found a comic store.
Which immediately became another disaster.
"KANYA DON'T TOUCH EVERYTHING!"
"I'M JUST LOOKING!"
"WHY IS THERE A GIANT DRAGON STATUE?!"
Meanwhile the boys were trying to handle the younger kids.
Failing terribly.
Absolute chaos surrounded everyone.
And somehow—
while watching them—
my chest tightened quietly.
Because sometimes…
when I look at the family everyone built over the years—
I wonder what our children would've looked like if Jay had stayed.
Would they have her eyes?
Her smile?
Would they have been loud like Kyle or quiet like Kaya?
Then suddenly—
someone snapped their fingers in front of my face.
I blinked.
Everyone was staring at me now.
Angelo raised an eyebrow.
"What were you thinking about, Keifer?"
"Nothing."
Angelo looked at me silently for a moment.
He knew I was lying.
But thankfully—
he didn't push further.
Kerien sighed dramatically.
"Kuya, if you're done having your main character moment, let's go."
Kegian nodded immediately.
"The hotel is booked. Taxis are outside already."
I exhaled quietly.
"Yeah. Let's go."
Soon enough, everyone finally entered the luxury hotel reserved for the competition teams.
The lobby alone was enough to silence the children for exactly three seconds.
Then—
"THIS PLACE IS HUGE!"
The adults sighed together.
At the reception desk, the staff handed out room cards while explaining the event schedule.
Opening ceremony tomorrow.
Practice rounds tomorrow evening.
Main competitions beginning the day after.
The children immediately became serious.
Well—
most of them.
Arielle quietly checked the skating schedule.
Kael reviewed swimming timings calmly.
Grazel immediately started planning basketball strategies in her notebook.
Meanwhile Aeron somehow nearly crashed into a decorative plant while skateboarding indoors.
"WHY DO YOU EVEN HAVE THE SKATEBOARD INSIDE?!" Ion shouted.
"For emotional support!"
"YOU NEED ACTUAL SUPPORT!"
The children exploded into another argument instantly.
Then suddenly—
one of the hotel staff approached nervously.
"Mr. watson, the owner of MKM Company has requested to meet you tomorrow evening."
I frowned slightly.
Interesting.
Nobody had actually met the owner properly before.
Not publicly at least.
"Did they give a name?" I asked.
The employee shook his head apologetically.
"No, sir."
Somewhere nearby, the children started screaming over room selections.
And somehow—
for the first time in years—
something felt different.
Like this trip wasn't just coincidence anymore.
