Chapter 147 - Chapter 143

Net feed went live at 1800 Coruscant Standard Time.

Every public screen in the Senate District flared to life. Cantina holoprojectors flickered mid-game. Lower-level apartments lit up with the same blue-white glow. Traffic lanes slowed as speeder pilots stared at dashboard displays. In the packed plazas and skywalks, millions of citizens froze where they stood.

Holonet Special Report: "Lightning Over Jabiim"**

*Shared by Visenya – Field Correspondent, Thirteenth Legion*

[Holonet feed opens with sweeping drone footage of Jabiim's scarred northern highlands. The sky is torn open in ragged blue-white gashes where the dispersal rockets once burned. Below, the battlefield is a blackened sea of fused droid chassis and melted walker hulks. Rain still falls, but now it hisses on cooling slag. In the distance, ten Republic Accumulator-class cruisers descend through the breaking clouds like silver predators.]

**Visenya (voiceover, calm but edged with awe):**

"Citizens of the Republic… this is Visenya, embedded with the Thirteenth Legion on Jabiim. Four weeks ago, General Dagon Marek and fifty thousand clones landed on a world the Separatists had already claimed. Today, the planet is free."

[The feed cuts to archival sensor logs: a single, blinding blue-white lightning storm erupting from the surface. Coiling serpents of pure Force energy lash upward, striking every Lucrehulk, every Munificent, every Recusant in orbit. Ships detonate in silent fireballs. On the ground, two million droid legions freeze mid-march as internal circuits overload. Nationalist troops become living torches before crumbling to ash.]

**Visenya (continuing):**

"The Separatists brought everything—two million battle droids, Durge, Savage Opress and his Nightbrothers, a full orbital blockade. They ignored the warnings about Jabiim's ion storms. When they tried orbital bombardment, the planet answered. What you are seeing is not ordinary lightning. It was a storm of the Force itself. Republic forces held the line at Handuin while the sky tore the enemy apart."

[Cut to footage of the victory: Republic banners rising beside the old Jabiim Congress flag over Shoal. Clones and loyalist fighters standing shoulder-to-shoulder. Alto Stratus and his surviving nobles paraded in mag-cuffs toward waiting shuttles. Dagon Marek, rain-streaked and armored, saluting the troops as the last nationalist pockets surrender.]

**Visenya:**

"Republic forces have succeeded. Jabiim is liberated. Alto Stratus, the man who overthrew his own Congress and sold his world to the Separatists, is in custody and will face justice on Coruscant. The mines, the cities, the people—they belong to Jabiim once more. The cost was high. Fifteen thousand clones gave their lives. But the planet is free."

[Feed switches to live reaction cams across Coruscant. The Grand Convocation Plaza is packed. Giant public holoscreens tower over the crowd.]

**Coruscant Patron Reactions – Plaza Level:**

- A young human couple, arms around each other, stares up at the screen as the lightning footage replays. The woman wipes tears. "That's… that's not possible. One Jedi did that?"

- An elderly Twi'lek veteran in faded Republic fatigues pumps a fist. "Fifteen thousand clones! But they won! They actually won! First real victory since Geonosis!"

- A group of Senate aides in crisp tunics cluster together, whispering furiously. One Rodian mutters, "High Jedi General? He's demanding a Council seat? Palpatine's going to love this."

**Upper Plaza Cantina Overlook (live feed):**

- Patrons packed shoulder-to-shoulder around a wall screen. A Zabrak mechanic slams his mug down. "Did you see those ships fall? Like the sky itself turned on them! That general—Starkiller—they're calling him—turned the whole planet into a weapon!"

- A family of humans with small children: the father kneels, pointing. "See that lightning? That's our side. That's the Republic protecting us." The kids cheer.

- In the corner booth, two senators (anonymous) watch in stunned silence. One leans in: "He's coming here. With ten cruisers. Demanding the rank. This changes everything."

**Lower Levels – Worker District Holo-café:**

- Blue-collar clones on leave, still in partial armor, raise glasses. "To the Thirteenth! To the General who brought the lightning!"

- A mixed crowd of refugees from Outer Rim worlds watches in reverent quiet. One elderly woman whispers, "My son was on Kamino. If they can do this on Jabiim… maybe the war can end."

**Visenya (closing, standing on the Handuin plateau with the scarred Juggernaut behind her):**

"General Dagon Marek and the Thirteenth Legion are already en route to Coruscant with the prisoners. The Senate will convene tomorrow. The people of Jabiim have asked that their flag fly beside ours. This was not conquest. This was liberation."

[Screen fades to the Republic crest beside the Jabiim Congress emblem. Text overlay: "JABIIM LIBERATED – LIVE ARRIVAL ON CORUSCANT TOMORROW 1400 HOURS"]

**End of Feed**

Visenya's personal note appended to the broadcast:

*Shared across every Republic channel and loyalist networks. The galaxy is watching. The hero known as Starkiller
