Cherreads

Chapter 71 - Chapter 71 — Gojo Satoru’s Unparalleled Skill

Shibuya Station — Basement Level B5

The underground station had turned into a suffocating cage.

The air was thick with the smell of sweat, fear, blood—and the burning residue of cursed energy.

Thousands of civilians were trapped on the platform.

Packed shoulder-to-shoulder like sardines in a can.

Their faces were pale with terror.

Some cried.

Some screamed.

Others could only tremble in silence.

At the center of the crowd—

stood Satoru Gojo.

Hands in his pockets.

Completely relaxed.

Across from him stood two Special Grade cursed spirits.

Jogo

and

Hanami.

Both watched him carefully.

Their cursed energy expanded outward, probing for weaknesses.

Searching for even the smallest opening.

"What's wrong?"

Gojo smiled lazily.

His pale blue eyes glimmered with amusement.

"Is that all you've got?"

Even surrounded by thousands of hostages—

Even facing multiple Special Grade enemies—

His tone remained casual.

As if he were merely taking a walk.

"To avoid harming civilians…"

He said lightly.

"I can't use Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue, Reversal: Red, or Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void."

"And you thought that meant you could beat me?"

Gojo tilted his head slightly.

A grin spread across his face.

"You've forgotten something important."

"What?" Jogo asked instinctively.

A chill crept down his spine.

Gojo vanished.

He disappeared completely.

No cursed energy warning.

No visible movement.

The next moment—

He appeared directly behind Hanami.

Hanami's instincts screamed.

But it was already too late.

"Even without techniques…"

Gojo said quietly.

"I'm still the strongest."

BANG.

A single punch.

Reinforced with cursed energy.

Nothing more.

Hanami's defensive cursed energy shattered instantly.

Like glass struck by a hammer.

The massive cursed spirit was launched across the platform.

Crashing into the concrete wall.

BOOOOM.

Stone exploded.

A deep crater formed.

Dust and debris rained down.

Jogo's single eye widened.

"What…?!"

"Just physical strength?!"

"Too slow."

Gojo's voice appeared beside him.

Like a whisper from a ghost.

Before Jogo could react—

Gojo's hand had already seized his arm.

The grip was absolute.

Like an iron vice.

CRACK.

Jogo's arm tore free instantly.

Ripped off as easily as breaking a dry branch.

Black cursed blood sprayed into the air.

"AAAAAAHH!"

Jogo screamed.

Half from pain.

Half from pure humiliation.

"Don't shout."

Gojo sighed.

Then kicked him away casually.

Jogo's body slammed across the platform.

"You're disturbing the civilians."

"So this was your plan?"

Gojo said calmly.

"Use hostages to restrict me?"

"How naive."

"So naive it's embarrassing."

He glanced at the frightened civilians.

Then back at the cursed spirits.

"As long as I move faster than you…"

"As long as I kill you before you can react…"

"The hostages stay safe."

It was absurd logic.

Brutal.

Simple.

And completely unstoppable.

"Damn it!"

Jogo roared.

Fear crept into his voice.

"This monster…"

"He's even worse than Sukuna!"

"Choso!"

Jogo shouted toward the distance.

"Stop watching!"

"Use Blood Manipulation!"

From deeper within the station—

A tall figure stepped forward.

Choso.

His hands formed seals.

Blood flowed along his arm.

"Piercing Blood."

A high-pressure beam of blood shot forward.

Faster than a bullet.

Leaving a red streak through the air.

But—

The moment it reached Gojo—

It stopped.

Frozen.

Suspended in mid-air.

The invisible wall of Infinity blocked it completely.

The blood scattered harmlessly across the ground.

"Pointless."

Gojo waved his finger lazily.

"At this distance…"

"In this space…"

"I'm untouchable."

He raised his hand.

Preparing to end the battle.

Then—

A rumbling sound echoed through the station.

RUMBLE—

A train approached.

But something about it felt wrong.

An overwhelming malice seeped from inside the carriages.

The train screeched to a halt.

The doors opened.

And thousands of monsters poured out.

They weren't passengers.

They were transfigured humans.

Victims warped by Mahito's Idle Transfiguration.

Their bodies were grotesquely distorted.

Extra limbs.

Warped jaws.

Flesh twisted into unnatural shapes.

They flooded the platform like a living tidal wave.

Standing atop the train—

Mahito waved cheerfully.

"Yo, Gojo Satoru!"

"I prepared a little present for you!"

He spread his arms dramatically.

"A feast!"

"A true Night Parade of One Hundred Demons!"

The transfigured humans rushed forward.

Civilians screamed in terror.

Chaos engulfed the platform.

Gojo stared at the horrifying scene.

The terrified civilians.

The twisted monsters.

The screaming crowd.

His playful smile disappeared.

In its place—

Was absolute coldness.

He slowly removed his blindfold.

The brilliant light of the Six Eyes illuminated the underground station.

His gaze swept across the battlefield.

"Since you're so eager to die…"

Gojo's voice became ice-cold.

"Then I'll grant your wish."

The battle escalated.
