Chapter 19 - The Servant Gun - Jane Powers, turn 388

Check in with Maxine about Umbridge's rocket launch and watch her final journey to the sun

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You walk alongside Maxine through the sleek, subterranean rocket launch facility that connects to the mansion laboratory. The facility's pristine white walls gleam under bright lights, and advanced equipment hums with energy. Dolores Umbridge, still bound and gagged, has been secured to a specialized seat inside a small, one-person rocket capsule.

"Rocket is fueled and ready for launch," Maxine reports, her enhanced breasts straining against her lab coat as she checks the final diagnostics on her tablet. "Trajectory calculated for direct solar impact. The craft will reach the sun in approximately eight hours, thirteen minutes."

You nod approvingly as you approach the rocket's open hatch, peering inside at Umbridge. Her bulging eyes widen further when she sees you, a mixture of hatred and terror evident in her gaze.

"Remove her gag," you command. "I want her to hear this."

Maxine complies, reaching into the capsule to unfasten the device from Umbridge's mouth. The moment it's removed, the woman begins her high-pitched tirade.

"How dare you! I am Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic! The Ministry will find me, and when they do—"

"The Ministry won't find you," you interrupt coldly. "No one will. You're going to die, Dolores, and I want you to understand exactly why."

Umbridge's mouth snaps shut, her toad-like face contorting with fear.

"You tortured children," you continue, your voice icy with contempt. "You forced Harry Potter to carve words into his own flesh with a blood quill. You threatened students with the Cruciatus Curse—an Unforgivable, if I recall correctly."

"They were lying!" Umbridge sputters. "Potter was spreading dangerous falsehoods about You-Know-Who's return!"

"Voldemort was back," you state flatly. "Harry Potter was telling the truth. But you refused to listen, refused to prepare, and in doing so, you helped Voldemort gain power."

You lean closer to the capsule, your imposing seven-and-a-half-foot frame looming over her. "Let me educate you about something you never bothered to learn. Voldemort created Horcruxes—objects containing fragments of his soul. He split his soul through murder, hiding pieces in various artifacts. That's how he survived his first defeat. That's why he was able to return."

Umbridge's face pales as the implications sink in.

"Your willful ignorance and prejudice weakened the wizarding world when it needed strength most," you continue relentlessly. "Your policies against 'half-breeds' like werewolves pushed them directly into Voldemort's service. Did you know that if the Ministry had treated werewolves like people instead of beasts, the curse might have died out naturally before you were even born? Instead, you perpetuated discrimination that strengthened your enemy."

Umbridge's eyes dart around, seeking escape, but finding none. For once, she seems speechless.

"Your legacy, Dolores, is one of cruelty, ignorance, and failure. You are a vile human being who harmed children and weakened the very society you claimed to protect."

Something shifts in Umbridge's expression—a flicker of dawning realization. Her shoulders slump slightly as the weight of your words penetrates her carefully constructed self-righteousness.

"You're..." she begins, her voice suddenly small. "You're correct."

You step back, surprised at her admission but unmoved. "Goodbye, Dolores. Your journey ends in the heart of our sun."

With that, you nod to Maxine, who reapplies the gag and seals the rocket hatch. You turn away as Maxine activates the launch sequence, the countdown beginning on the large display screen.

"Launch in ten... nine... eight..."

You walk toward the exit, not bothering to watch as the rocket blasts off through the hidden silo doors, carrying Umbridge on her final journey. By the time you reach the elevator back to the mansion, you've already decided to put the unpleasant woman from your mind entirely.

"Let's focus on more important matters," you tell Maxine as the elevator doors close. "Project Fictional Conquest has real potential. Who should we extract next?"

Maxine smiles, her eyes lighting up with scientific enthusiasm. "I have several candidates prepared for your consideration, Divine Mother. The possibilities are virtually limitless."
