Chapter 151 - The Servant Gun - Jane Powers, turn 520

the members of the batfam give you a tour of gothem

Kate Kane leads your group up from the Batcave in a sleek elevator disguised as a wine cellar shaft. "Welcome to Gotham," she says as the doors open into her penthouse. "Not as sunny as Metropolis, but it has its charms."

The tour begins with a helicopter ride over the city's gothic spires and industrial districts. Barbara Gordon—formerly Oracle, now Batgirl—points out landmarks through the window.

"Crime Alley," she says, indicating a narrow street between buildings. "Where Batman began. Over there is Arkham Island, now our rehabilitation center."

You observe the polluted harbor, the decaying infrastructure in certain districts, and the strange, oppressive atmosphere that seems to hang over everything despite the transformation.

"The city feels... resistant somehow," Stephanie Brown—Spoiler—remarks. "Like it's fighting back against the changes."

After landing on the GCPD rooftop, Commissioner Montoya—now a busty officer in a tight uniform—shows you the crime statistics.

"Down 95% since the transformation," she reports. "But that remaining 5% is... strange. Like the city itself wants to create criminals."

Back in the Batcave hours later, you sit in the command chair, tapping your fingers against the armrest.

"Natasha," you say into your communicator. "Activate your ANBU squads in Gotham. There's an organization called the Court of Owls—ancient, secretive, controls the city from the shadows. Hunt them down and eliminate them completely."

"Understood, Empress," comes Natasha's crisp reply. "My teams will deploy immediately."

You open another channel. "Zatanna, Raven, Galadriel, Riveria—I need your magical expertise. Gotham is cursed. I want that curse broken."

The Bat-family members exchange startled glances.

"A... curse?" Barbara says. "That would explain so much."

Kate Kane nods slowly. "The persistent corruption, the way villains keep emerging no matter what we do..."

Cassandra Cain—Orphan—signs something that Julia Pennyworth translates: "She says she's always felt something wrong in the stones of the city."

"Maxine," you continue into your communicator. "There's a contaminated Lazarus Pit somewhere beneath Gotham. Find it and destroy it completely."

"On it, babe," Maxine responds enthusiastically. "I'll bring specialized equipment."

"And one more thing—" you add. "Gotham's waterways are heavily polluted from decades of industrial waste and supervillain bioweapons. Develop a method to clean it, then bring Poison Ivy out of stasis. Modify her obsession with plants to devotion to our empire. Enhance her environmental abilities and give her curves beyond the standard transformation. Put her under Grace and Victoria's command for a full environmental restoration project."

"Ooh, a challenge!" Maxine sounds delighted. "Enhanced curves and environmental powers. Consider it done, my goddess."

The Bat-family members look at you with newfound respect.

"You identified in hours what we've been fighting for years," Helena Bertinelli—Huntress—says softly.
