Chapter 36 - He Was Genius

All men care about saving face; even if they know they are weak, they will never admit it.

But if someone could cure kidney deficiency, that would be another matter entirely.

"Senior, you should put more of your thoughts and energy into studying and working. As long as you keep yourself busy, you won't think about those other things, and naturally, your body will improve."

"Doesn't that sound like you're trying to trick me into working hard for you?"

Mark Vane looked at Andrew with disdain, always feeling that something was not quite right.

When Andrew heard this, he clicked his tongue, "What kind of talk is that? Can that be called trickery? If you work hard, you not only accumulate experience but also prevent yourself from doing other meaningless things. This is all for your own good."

"That actually makes a little sense."

"Exactly. When you go back, remember to watch fewer inappropriate videos and put more energy into fixing bugs. Also, add the personality feature. I'm leaving now."

Mark Vane watched Andrew get up and leave, stroking his chin thoughtfully, "Why do I feel like I've been tricked?"

"But what he said does make sense. Starting today, I'm giving up lewd habits!"

After Andrew left the library, he went to the school's printing shop to pick up the flyers he had asked to be printed a few days ago.

Afterward, he bought two cups of milk tea and went to Ethan and the others' dormitory.

Upon entering, he found that besides Steve, who liked fitness, everyone else was still in bed.

Stark was snoring, and Johnson was sleeping like a dead pig with his size forty-five smelly feet hanging outside the bed.

Andrew walked to Tony's bedside and patted him, who was still smiling foolishly.

"Stop looking, stop looking. Do you want this couple-themed milk tea? It's perfect to give one to your goddess."

Andrew raised an eyebrow and showed the two cups of milk tea in his hand.

When Tony saw it, his eyes lit up, and he immediately sat up: "Yes."

Just as he was about to reach out for it, Andrew pulled it back and took out a flyer, "You help me distribute this flyer. Since you can't enter the girls' dorm, stand at the entrance and hand them out."

"OK."

Tony readily agreed, jumped off the bed, grabbed the flyer and the milk tea, and left with a grin.

As he left, he didn't forget to text his goddess, "Carol, I bought milk tea, I'm bringing it over for you."

"Leave it with the dorm manager auntie, you can pick it up later."

Andrew secretly glanced at Tony's phone. Seeing the chat, he admired him from the bottom of his heart, 'This devoted simp is truly something else.'

After Tony left, Andrew took his spot.

It must be said, although Tony was a simp, his desk was quite clean, not messy at all.

It was much better than the other few guys sitting in a pile of trash.

Soon, the remaining few also woke up one after another. After Ethan woke up, he let out a series of indescribable sounds.

"Mmm~~~ Ah!!!"

"You idiot, what are you barking like a dog for?" Stark, woken up by Ethan's strange cry, couldn't help but curse.

"He's having an episode, don't mind him." Andrew, lying in Tony's chair, replied with a light laugh.

"When did you get here?"

"Just now."

As Andrew spoke, he sent the Luna download link to Ethan, "By the way, weren't you looking for someone to buy used class notes and textbooks? Just tell Luna what you need, it'll post requests, search for sellers, and even handle the purchase for you."

"Really? It's that useful?"

Ethan tried it out. After giving a simple command, Luna quickly organized a request, matched it with available listings, and even suggested the best option. The whole process felt effortless.

The others, seeing this, immediately asked Andrew for the download link. Each of them started testing Luna, and their expressions quickly turned into excitement.

Especially Stark, his eyes practically lit up seeing the personality function.

"Awesome! Damn, next time some idiot argues with me, I'll just let Luna reply to me and roast them properly!"

"Nice."

Steve tested a few functions, then looked at Andrew.

"How come Luna can help with buying and selling stuff, but there's nothing for fitness?"

"I'll add a fitness assistant module in a few days," Andrew replied casually.

Steve nodded, satisfied.

But the next moment, everyone suddenly reacted and looked at Andrew in unison, with looks of shock.

"Wait a minute… this AI Assistant… is yours?"

"Yeah, mine."

Andrew replied lightly, as if it was no big deal.

However, the other five couldn't remain calm. "Holy crap, are you secretly a rich second generation?"

"Andy, don't brag. Is this AI Assistant really yours? It's so amazing!"

The most defensive was Ethan, "You bastard, you're so rich, yet in high school, you constantly sponged off my food and drinks!"

Facing the shocked and defensive crowd, Andrew just waved his hand, "It's just a website, not worth much money."

"Then how much did it cost you to build this website?"

"Right now, it only costs about one to two thousand dollars."

Johnson felt numb listening. From Andrew's mouth, this one to two thousand sounded like pocket change; he had to budget carefully just for a meal.

"One to two thousand isn't small! Andy, what kind of family do you have?"

"An ordinary family. Don't believe me, ask Ethan, I often sponged off his food and drinks before."

"That's true, but I feel like you're pretending to be a pig to eat the tiger."

"I'm not. I'm really poor. Look at the clothes I'm wearing, is there a single brand name? Steve is even wearing Nike shoes."

After chatting for a while, the group went out together for lunch.

During the meal, Andrew suddenly received a message from Scarlett.

"Are you awake? You can't still be sleeping, can you?"

"I woke up very early, I'm eating now."

If Andrew hadn't said he woke up very early, Scarlett wouldn't have suspected anything. But by mentioning it, she felt a bit like Andrew was lying.

Who told him he slept until noon yesterday?

"You're really up early? You're not still in bed, are you?"

Seeing this, Andrew directly picked up his phone, took a picture of his meal tray, and sent it to Scarlett.

Now Scarlett didn't doubt him anymore, "Just don't stay up late. Don't sleep too late tonight either, remember to rest early."

"Okay, Teacher Scarlett, you should also take care of your rest."

As soon as Andrew put his phone away, Steve beside him asked, "Why is your mom still checking up on you?"

Steve had casually glanced when he saw Andrew taking a photo and assumed Andrew was being checked up on by his mother.

"Uh... My 'mom' cares about me more."

Andrew followed Steve's line of thought in his reply to avoid being questioned by these guys again.

After lunch, the group went directly to an internet cafe, and they even had dinner there.

Andrew originally planned to go back around nine in the evening, but he played for too long and forgot to check the time.

In the end, Andrew didn't get back until past midnight.

When he turned on his phone, he saw that Scarlett had sent a message asking if he was asleep at ten o'clock that night, but he hadn't seen it.

Andrew was about to reply, but then he thought, if he replied now, wouldn't he expose himself?

So he pretended not to have seen it and would reply tomorrow, explaining that he went to sleep before ten last night, which is why he didn't see it.

At worst, he would wake up early tomorrow to reply; that way, he definitely wouldn't be exposed.

Thinking this, Andrew suddenly felt incredibly clever.

He was practically a genius.
