Chapter 1 - “The Light That Never Faded”

Marsad was not born with comfort. Life had always tested him—financial struggles, long nights without sleep, and dreams that felt too far to reach. But one thing about Marsad never changed—he was patient and hardworking. No matter how difficult things got, he never gave up.

And then came Soha.

Soha was like a calm breeze in Marsad's stormy life. She wasn't loud, she wasn't flashy—but her heart was full of kindness. She believed in people, especially in Marsad, even when he doubted himself.

They first met in a quiet classroom. Marsad sat in the corner, focused on his books, carrying the weight of his responsibilities. Soha noticed him—not because he spoke a lot, but because of the silence he carried.

One day, she walked up to him and said softly,

"Why do you always look so serious?"

Marsad smiled faintly, "Because life is serious."

Soha shook her head gently, "Not always. Sometimes, you just need someone to share it with."

From that day, something changed.

Days turned into months. Marsad kept working hard—studying late nights, doing part-time work, chasing his dreams step by step. And Soha? She was always there.

When Marsad felt tired, she encouraged him.

When he felt like giving up, she reminded him why he started.

When he felt alone, she stood beside him silently.

She never asked for anything in return—just his happiness.

One evening, under a soft orange sunset, Marsad sat beside Soha.

"I'm scared," he admitted.

"Of what?" she asked.

"That I might fail… that I won't be able to give you the life you deserve."

Soha smiled, her eyes warm and steady.

"Marsad, I don't love you for what you can give me. I love you because you never give up. That's enough for me."

Tears filled Marsad's eyes—not of sadness, but of a deep, overwhelming feeling of being understood.

Years passed.

Marsad's hard work finally paid off. He achieved his dreams, step by step, just like he promised himself. But through all the success, one thing remained unchanged—

Soha was still beside him.

Not because of success, not because of money, but because of love.

One quiet night, Marsad held Soha's hand and said,

"You were my strength when I had none. You were my light when everything was dark. If I am here today, it's because you never left."

Soha smiled softly, tears in her eyes.

"And I never will."

Moral:

True love isn't about perfect moments—it's about standing beside someone in their imperfect journey, believing in them when they can't believe in themselves.
