Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 – Arrival at Hogwarts

Draco's face instantly changed.

The moment Sean spoke, Malfoy instinctively tried to run.

Unfortunately, Goyle and Crabbe reacted even faster.

The three boys turned around simultaneously and bolted down the corridor in complete panic.

Sean didn't even bother standing up.

He lazily raised his wand and pointed it toward their backs.

"Leg-Locker Curse."

Three flashes of light shot out instantly.

The next second, all three boys collapsed violently onto the floor.

Their legs had fused tightly together as though bound by invisible chains.

"AHH!"

Crabbe slammed face-first into the corridor carpet while Goyle rolled helplessly like a giant potato.

Draco's expression was even more miserable.

The three boys desperately crawled backward, horrified to discover they couldn't separate their legs at all.

Sean calmly crossed one leg over the other.

"I'll give you one chance," he said lightly.

Hermione stared blankly beside him.

Her mind had completely frozen.

Along the way, she had proudly explained magic theory to Sean nonstop…

Only to discover that Sean could casually cast spells before even starting school.

And not just basic spells either.

His casting speed and precision looked frighteningly practised.

For the first time in her life, Hermione Granger experienced genuine academic pressure.

Her face gradually turned redder and redder.

Then suddenly—

She covered her face and rushed out of the compartment.

Sean blinked in confusion.

He naturally assumed Hermione had become angry because of Malfoy and the others.

His expression immediately darkened further.

After all, Hermione was technically his first friend in the wizarding world.

And Sean never tolerated people insulting those under his protection.

"Finite Incantatem."

The Leg-Locker Curse instantly lifted.

Then Sean looked at the three boys calmly.

"Come here."

Draco instinctively glanced backward as though considering escape again.

Unfortunately, memories of Sean's terrifying spellcasting immediately surfaced in his mind.

In the end, the three boys obediently shuffled back into the compartment.

The moment they stood before him, Sean spoke calmly.

"I'll give you another opportunity."

"Apologise to Hermione."

"If she forgives you, we'll forget this happened."

Goyle immediately exploded.

"You want us to apologise to some filthy Mudblood?!"

"Shut up, Goyle!" Draco yelled desperately.

Too late.

Sean slowly narrowed his eyes.

Then he smiled.

It was not a friendly smile.

"Excellent," he said softly. "Now I don't want apologies anymore."

He casually lifted his wand.

"Levicorpus."

"Silencio."

The next second, the three boys were violently hoisted upside down into the air like hanging sausages.

At the same time, all sound vanished from their throats completely.

Draco's face turned bright red as he struggled helplessly upside down.

Meanwhile, Goyle and Crabbe flailed wildly like trapped pigs.

Sean calmly lay back down afterward and closed his eyes again.

"You can spend the rest of the journey like that."

"I suggest getting some sleep."

"It's still a long trip."

The three boys nearly cried.

Draco glared murderously at Goyle over and over again.

If looks could kill, Goyle would already be buried beside the tracks.

Meanwhile, Hermione wandered aimlessly through the train corridor with a burning face.

The more she remembered herself enthusiastically lecturing Sean about beginner magic…

The more embarrassed she became.

It was unbearable.

At that moment, she noticed a red-haired boy attempting to cast magic on a rat inside a nearby compartment.

"Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow…"

The spell sounded utterly ridiculous.

Hermione stared blankly for several seconds.

Then the embarrassment in her heart instantly vanished.

Her confidence immediately returned.

Straightening proudly, she walked over.

"With all due respect," Hermione said critically, "that isn't real magic at all."

The red-haired boy looked embarrassed.

Then Hermione suddenly froze.

Because sitting nearby was another black-haired boy wearing glasses.

The famous scar on his forehead was impossible to mistake.

"Oh my God…"

"You're Harry Potter!"

"First-year students should now change into their school robes. We will arrive shortly."

The announcement outside finally woke Sean from his rest.

He slowly sat up and stretched lazily.

Across from him, the three hanging boys looked utterly miserable.

Tears practically filled Draco's eyes.

Sean finally released the spells with a flick of his wand.

The three boys collapsed onto the floor in agony.

Sean smiled pleasantly.

"So."

"Ready to apologise now?"

Goyle instinctively opened his mouth.

Immediately, Draco lunged forward and violently covered it.

"We'll apologise," Draco said rapidly.

"Yes, absolutely."

Crabbe nodded so hard his cheeks shook.

The three boys scrambled out of the compartment at top speed, carefully closing the door behind them afterward.

Sean watched them leave with satisfaction.

Then—

The train whistle echoed loudly.

The Hogwarts Express had arrived.

Sean calmly stepped off the train and immediately spotted the giant figure waiting nearby.

Rubeus Hagrid.

"First years over here!" Hagrid shouted enthusiastically. "Come on now, don't be shy!"

Sean followed the crowd forward.

Surprisingly, Hermione was nowhere in sight.

Sean assumed she was still avoiding him out of embarrassment and didn't think much of it.

Soon, the first-year students began boarding small boats beside the lake.

Sean casually entered one alone.

Just as the boat was about to depart—

"Wait!"

A panicked voice suddenly sounded behind him.

Sean turned around.

Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle stood there gasping for breath.

The three boys quickly looked around.

Unfortunately…

Every other boat was already full.

Only Sean's still had space remaining.

Crabbe's face instantly turned pale.

Even Goyle looked traumatised.

"Hurry up, you three!" Hagrid shouted impatiently. "The boats are leaving!"

Draco clenched his teeth helplessly before climbing aboard.

Crabbe and Goyle reluctantly followed.

The atmosphere instantly became unbelievably awkward.

Sean calmly sat alone at the front of the boat while the three boys huddled together in terror at the back.

No one dared speak.

The night sky above them was dark and heavy with clouds.

Occasionally, moonlight pierced through the mist.

Then—

The clouds finally parted.

And Hogwarts appeared.

An enormous ancient castle stood proudly atop the cliffs ahead, illuminated by countless golden lights.

Towering spires pierced the night sky while glowing windows reflected across the black lake beneath them.

It looked less like a school…

And more like a legendary fairy-tale fortress beyond the mortal world.
