Seventeen year old Zora Ford moves through the wreckage, hood up, mechanical arm faintly glowing.
She's had this arm all her life for as long as she could remember.
It looked human other than the neon purple lines at each joint of the arm.
She kneels beside a broken drone, tools in hand.
"Come on.... don't be useless" Akira mutters
She rips out a core chip
Suddenly —
WHIRRRRRR —
A dormant android behind her activates
Glowing red eyes
The android lunges forward
Zora barely dodges
Her arm shifts - metal plates sliding into a blade
CLANG
Fast, raw combat
Akira fights instinctively
The android moves too precisely
The android delivers a swift blow to her stomach and sends her flying to a wall
"Ughhh....." Akira mutters
The android approaches and grabs her throat, lifting her off the ground.
It's voice glitches
"E...den..."
Zora freezes
"...What?..." She tries to speak
The android spasms —
"Eden... Core... restore —
Zora drives her blade through it's head
Silence
Zora steps back, breathing hard, her arm begins to twitch
It reshapes on its own. Not normal.
"...That's new". Zora whispers
She pulls her sleeve down, hiding it.
