Seeing the flicker of hesitation in Cocolia's eyes, Caelus decided to strike while the iron was hot.
"Compared to that Stellaron that only ever hides and whispers secrets to you, why not believe in a Stellaron Spirit like me—one who's standing right here in front of you, and who can string you and your subordinates up for a beating? Besides, you're no fool. You should be able to see that I have complete control over my Stellaron, right? It's obvious to anyone that I'm more powerful than that other one."
Although Cocolia was swayed, Caelus ultimately hadn't done anything to truly change her mind.
"What can you do?"
Her words were filled with disbelief.
Caelus wasn't annoyed by her lack of faith. He thought for a moment, then held up a finger. "Since it brought the Eternal Freeze, how about I show you the opposite? For example, covering the world in lava? Or perhaps summoning an army of the undead for you? Which one would you like to see?"
Before Cocolia could even speak, March 7th chimed in with astonishment. "Covering the world in lava? Can you really do something like that?"
"What's so hard about it? It just takes a bit of effort."
Hearing Caelus say this, Cocolia was surprised, but only surprised. The Stellaron had brought the Eternal Freeze to stop the Antimatter Legion. Even if Caelus could cover the world in lava now, it would only be harmful, not helpful.
Caelus saw her expression, a mixture of temptation and distrust, and wasn't surprised.
If he didn't show her some real power, she would never truly believe him.
"Come with me. I'll show you what a real miracle is."
With that, Caelus turned and walked out of the room without a second glance. Cocolia hesitated for a moment, then got up from the bed. However, the moment her feet, clad only in black stockings, touched the cold floor, she instinctively recoiled.
Seeing this, March 7th immediately went out and returned a moment later with a pair of slippers, placing them in front of Cocolia.
"This is all the clinic has. You can wear these for now."
Cocolia pursed her lips. After a long pause, she squeezed out a "thank you," put on the slippers, and followed March and Dan Heng out of the clinic. Natasha, who had been secretly enjoying the show, saw this and quietly followed along.
When the three of them stepped outside, they saw Caelus had already run to a large open space in front of the clinic and was busy doing something at a crafting table he had placed down.
March 7th curiously walked over. Watching Caelus work, she asked, "Caelus, what are you planning to do?"
"Naturally, we start by solving Jarilo-VI's most pressing problem." Caelus finished his crafting, pocketed the items he made, and then turned his head to look at Cocolia, who had been watching him the entire time.
"Cocolia, let me ask you, what do you think is the biggest problem Belobog is facing right now?"
Cocolia had been the Supreme Guardian for many years; she was crystal clear on the situation Belobog faced. She answered almost without thinking.
"Resources."
"Correct."
Caelus snapped his fingers. Though he hadn't seen much of the world, in an apocalyptic setting like this, resources were everything!
With resources, you could solve 90% of your problems. The remaining 10% just required more resources!
And in Minecraft, resources were the one thing he didn't lack! Even non-renewable resources like diamonds could be farmed.
Caelus picked up a hoe he had made and tilled the patch of dirt at his feet into farmland. He then placed a torch nearby for light and dug a one-block hole, which he filled with water. With that, all the conditions for crop growth were met.
Dan Heng and Cocolia were a bit confused by this series of actions, but March 7th's eyes lit up. She had seen Caelus plant wheat at the livestock farm before!
"Caelus, are you going to farm?"
"Of course. The most critical problem for Belobog right now is food." Caelus replied to March before turning back to Cocolia. "Cocolia, if I could give you several types of crop seeds that can mature in twenty to forty minutes, do you think Belobog would ever lack food again?"
"Impossible!" Cocolia retorted almost subconsciously. "Absolutely impossible! How could crops grow that fast? That completely defies science!"
"But I never said I was going to use science."
Caelus casually planted some wheat seeds in the tilled soil, then walked off to the side, holding a Corrupted Torch he had just crafted. This was a MOD he had unlocked earlier from grinding proficiency. He hadn't found a use for it then, but now it was perfect.
Whether it was potatoes and carrots, the Bone Meal needed to accelerate crop growth, or the string needed to build a mob farm, they could all be dropped by Minecraft mobs.
"Dan Heng, help Cocolia time this. Cocolia, you can wait. It'll only take a few dozen minutes to see the results. I'm going to take care of something else first."
Cocolia hesitated for a moment, then nodded. Just as Caelus said, it would only take a few dozen minutes to prove whether he was telling the truth or lying. She had already waited for so many years; she could spare a little more time.
Caelus walked off to the side and planted the Corrupted Torch in the ground. According to the Just Enough Items (JEI) item manager's description, it could rapidly spawn Minecraft mobs in a 16x16 area. He just wasn't sure how "rapidly" it meant.
Not long after Caelus planted the torch, Cocolia, who was intently focused on the crops, was startled when a rotten, dark-green face suddenly appeared in front of her.
Cocolia was shocked. She suppressed the scream that was about to escape her lips, raised her hand, and conjured an ice spear, stabbing it directly into the monster's head.
The monster let out a hiss, then dissipated into a puff of green smoke, leaving behind a chunk of Rotten Flesh on the ground.
Before Cocolia could figure out what had just happened, Dan Heng shouted from the side.
"Hostiles!"
He and March 7th quickly entered a combat stance. But before either of them could make a move, a two-to-three-meter-tall metal giant appeared beside them out of nowhere. It raised a hand and swatted a nearby green monster into the sky.
"Holy crap! An Iron Golem!"
Caelus had also noticed the commotion. He had been wondering where the mobs were spawning, and when he turned around, he saw an Iron Golem standing right next to Cocolia.
In an instant, Caelus recalled the spawning mechanics for Iron Golems.
In the Java Edition, when a villager is 'panicked' by a zombie, the game system will spawn an Iron Golem near the villager. This is the core mechanic of an iron farm!
Love you, Cocolia. A VIP seat at the iron farm is waiting for you!
