Chapter 5 - Lecher's Grin Unleashed! Stolen Buns Unlock a Flood of Villain Points

At the main gate of Number Eleven High School, two young girls walked side by side: one a fierce little loli in a scarlet martial arts uniform, the other an adorable, sweet-faced loli with her head hung low. They were none other than Xia Weiwei and Mai Mengmeng.

Right now, Xia Weiwei's cheeks were puffed out in a furious pout, her blood boiling at the memory of the night before. She'd brought Mai Mengmeng home, only to be kept up all night by the delirious girl, and it only solidified her belief that Wang Hao was a shameless lecher through and through. Why else would the drug have been so potent?

Tch! What am I even thinking?

Xia Weiwei shook her head violently, banishing those inappropriate thoughts from her mind.

"Weiwei… do you really mean I kissed Brother Wang Hao yesterday?" Mai Mengmeng twisted her small hands together nervously, her heart fluttering wildly in her chest.

"Brother Wang Hao? Are you really gonna wait until that pervert devours you whole before you see him for what he really is!?" Xia Weiwei's temper flared the second she heard Wang Hao's name, and she let out a cold snort. "I told you a long time ago—any high schooler who can mix that kind of drug is either a lecher or a total psychopath."

"Weiwei, you're wrong about Brother Wang Hao! It really was just a lab accident yesterday, it wasn't his fault at all!" Mai Mengmeng mumbled timidly in his defense. "Besides, he only made that drug to get money for his other alchemy research. You know how it is—those drugs have super low production costs and sell like crazy. They make a ton of money." The more she spoke, the redder her cheeks grew, her voice dwindling to a barely audible whisper by the end.

"I don't know anything about that!" Xia Weiwei shrieked, pinching Mai Mengmeng hard on the waist. How dare this girl throw her under the bus just to defend that pervert Wang Hao! She was an innocent, pure high school student—how would she know anything about the cost and sales of aphrodisiacs!?

"Eep!" Mai Mengmeng flinched back, wincing slightly at the pain.

"Hmph!"

Xia Weiwei huffed angrily, yanking a steamed meat bun out of the plastic bag in her hand and taking a vicious bite, as if she was gnawing on Wang Hao's own flesh. It was all that bastard's fault! He'd made her spend the entire night tending to Mai Mengmeng, not getting a wink of sleep. Then this morning, she'd had to rush to school for the assembly, with no time to eat breakfast—this sad steamed bun was all she had.

Suddenly, a chill ran down Xia Weiwei's spine. She could feel someone watching her, and their gaze was positively lecherous. She spun around, only to see Wang Hao staring straight at her, a trail of what looked like disgusting drool hanging from the corner of his mouth.

Right now, Wang Hao couldn't have cared less about the disgusted look on Xia Weiwei's face. He was so hungry his stomach was practically touching his spine, and his vision was starting to blur. He'd spent the entire night cultivating when he got home, with no time to eat—and even if he'd wanted to, he couldn't have stomached those expired biscuits. Then he'd woken up late this morning, and there were no breakfast stalls left on his way to school. But the biggest problem of all was the soul-crushing poverty written all over his face: he couldn't even afford breakfast if he'd found it. So when he saw the steamed meat bun in Xia Weiwei's hand, it was like seeing a gift from the heavens, and all his dignity went straight out the window.

"Shameless pervert! What are you staring at!?" Xia Weiwei eyed him warily. Had this pervert come to get revenge on her for ruining his plans yesterday? Was he planning to make a move on her next!?

"Brother Wang Hao, you're here." Mai Mengmeng kept her head hung low, her face burning with shyness, and greeted him in a voice as quiet as a mosquito's buzz. The second she saw him, her head spun, and she couldn't stop thinking about what Xia Weiwei had told her—about how she'd kissed him. Her heart was tangled in knots, too. Would Brother Wang Hao think less of her for what had happened?

Wang Hao narrowed his eyes, studying Mai Mengmeng. The little loli was only sixteen or seventeen, shy and utterly endearing. She was also a campus belle in her own right, with hordes of admirers at Number Eleven High School—and from what his memories told him, she'd had a crush on him for a while. It made sense, of course. The poor sod who'd owned this body before him might have been quiet, but his skill in alchemy was leagues ahead of his peers, and he was handsome to boot. Back on his old Earth, he would have been the undisputed campus heartthrob. For a starry-eyed young loli who was obsessed with alchemy, that was an irresistible combination.

"What are you even saying to this pervert!?" Xia Weiwei snapped, the steamed bun still clamped between her teeth. She rolled up her sleeves, stepped forward, and pulled Mai Mengmeng behind her, shielding her from view.

A dark scowl crossed Wang Hao's face. It had all been a damn accident! Why the hell was everyone pinning the label of pervert on him?

"Hmph. For the sake of world peace, I have to teach this little loli Xia Weiwei that there's a price to pay for falsely accusing an innocent man…" A sacred light glinted in Wang Hao's eyes, and the corner of his mouth curled up into that bizarre grin: equal parts lecherous, depraved, and oddly earnest.

In an instant, both Mai Mengmeng and Xia Weiwei shuddered as if struck by lightning. Their minds went completely blank, with nothing but that unspeakably evil, depraved grin swirling through their heads.

Seeing the two girls frozen stiff on the spot, Wang Hao didn't hesitate for a second. He snatched the steamed meat buns right out of their hands, then sauntered casually toward the school gates of Number Eleven High School.

"Ding Dong. Congratulations to the Host for committing robbery. Awarded 200 Villain Points."

Wang Hao felt a surge of pride swell in his chest. He'd taught Xia Weiwei a lesson, earned Villain Points, and filled his stomach all at once! If they had a Top Ten Most Inspirational Youths award here, he'd be a shoo-in. But he lived by a code: he would take his accomplishments to the grave with a humble smile, and embrace his fate as a peerless villain misunderstood by the world.

"Shameless lecher! Stop right there!" Xia Weiwei snapped out of her daze, let out a furious roar, and sprinted after him at full speed.

Shameless lecher!?

The surrounding students all turned to stare at the commotion, their eyes widening at the sight: Xia Weiwei, face livid with rage, chasing after Wang Hao, who was running ahead with a smug grin on his face. That scene, paired with the words "shameless lecher", sent the hormone-fueled high schoolers' minds racing. Had Wang Hao forced himself on Xia Weiwei? What else could make her this furious? If that was true, high schoolers these days were way more bold than anyone thought!

"How dare he lay a finger on Miss Weiwei! Boys, grab whatever you've got—take this bastard down!"

"Fuck! Miss Weiwei is my goddess! I don't even dare to fantasize about her, and this pretty boy dared to put his hands on her? He's dead!"

"No questions asked! Let's get him, boys!"

"He dared to offend Goddess Weiwei! We'll hunt him to the ends of the earth, hack him to pieces, and feed him to the dogs!"

"I'll make him learn! A goddess is to be admired from afar, never defiled!"

"Kill him!"

Wang Hao jumped in shock as a dozen male students came charging at him. Where the hell had these guys even come from!? It hit him in a flash—Xia Weiwei was the campus belle of Number Eleven High School. She had an entire army of adoring suitors ready to defend her honor.

"Ding Dong. Congratulations to the Host for defiling the goddess in the eyes of others, inciting their rage. Awarded 300 Villain Points."

"Ding Dong. Congratulations…"

"Ding Dong. Congratulations…"

Listening to the endless stream of system notifications, Wang Hao froze solid. Was hitting a goddess with the Lecher's Grin really all it took to be charged with defiling her? If that was the case, earning Villain Points was way easier than he'd ever imagined!
