Aaaahhhhhh…
A loud scream echoed, and then everything fell silent.
Risha opened her eyes. There was complete silence, yet faint voices echoed around her—
"Shashank, you hit Dhriti… that was very wrong. Go and apologize to her right now. The poor girl has been crying for so long."
Risha looked at herself in the mirror—and was stunned. The soft, delicate Risha had now turned into a well-built man.
Shashank Singh Chaudhary—the second male lead of the novel world, who marries the daughter of his brother's business rival and makes it his life's purpose to torture his wife every single day.
Risha touched her handsome face, her beard, then her chest—shocked beyond belief. She couldn't process that she had time-traveled into a novel world and become a villain who only tortures his wife.
"To hell with this stupid system! That idiot swapped my system!" Risha muttered angrily, looking around in disbelief.
On the other side, in a master bedroom, the sound of sobbing suddenly stopped. A beautiful girl stood before the mirror, staring at herself.
She wasn't slim—slightly chubby, with soft cheeks, fair skin, naturally pink plump lips, curly hair, swollen eyes from crying, and a tiny red nose. Adorably beautiful. Who says chubby people aren't pretty? Just look at her, and you'll understand how lovely they can be.
This was Dhriti—Shashank Singh Chaudhary's wife.
Dhriti's head was throbbing. She wondered, "Where am I? What place is this?"
Looking at herself in the mirror, she said,
"Hey, beautiful… who are you? And wow… what beauty! I'm completely in love with this face."
Poor Dhriti soon realized—that girl in the mirror was none other than herself. She had been talking to her own reflection.
Suddenly, memories from the past flooded her mind—Shashank slapping her, and in return, Dhriti smashing a vase on his head.
Recalling that, she muttered,
"The great Tapasya Singh Rajput… where have you landed now? Who knows what this psycho husband will do to me? But I'm not afraid of anyone. Be strong, Tapasya."
She tried to comfort herself.
Frightened, Dhriti sat in the corner of the bed, hugging herself, wondering how she would survive alone in this strange world, and how she would escape this novel.
Just then, the bedroom door opened.
And in walked Risha—now Dhriti's abusive husband, Shashank Singh Chaudhary.
As soon as Shashank entered, he saw Dhriti—and couldn't take his eyes off her.
In his heart, he thought,
"Yaar, she's so amazing… so cute. I feel like squishing those chubby cheeks. Those big, round eyes… uff, don't look at me like that, you silly girl… I might fall for you."
Even though Shashank was now a man, inside he was still Risha—and unknowingly, she was blushing like she was seeing a girl for the first time.
Meanwhile, Dhriti thought nervously,
"If this man tries anything, I'll tie him to the bed with his own dupatta and whip him so badly his skin will peel off."
As Shashank moved closer, Dhriti warned,
"Stay away from me, or else…"
Shashank smirked slightly and stepped closer.
"i didn't marry you to stay away, dear wife. And 'or else'…? What will you do?"
Dhriti, panicking, said,
"Or else my Blood pressure will rise, and I'll complain to my mom about you!"
Shashank froze—and then smiled.
He remembered the past—when Risha and Tapasya were friends, and whenever Risha troubled Tapasya, tapasya would say in fear,
"My Blood Pressure is rising! If something happens to me, I'll complain about you to my mom!"
Shashank burst into laughter, seeing his dearest friend's innocence reflected in his wife.
And Dhriti was left confused—
"Why is this monster laughing?"
Now, will Shashank and Dhriti realize that ,in the real world, they are actually Risha and Tapasya—who have ended up as husband and wife inside this novel?
