Chapter 6
At the first day Ethan and Joah walked to class together
The hall were full of chatting students while others walking to their lecture rooms for as some enjoying the morning breeze as orange light shines fills the hallways
As they walked Ethan wanting to start a conversation to became
"what a morning right?"
then instantly regrets it
(in Ethan's head: WTF was that who says "What a morning" while you said good morning earlier????? I need to recover with-)
"True its a very busy morning"
As Joah continues to talk, he maintained his focus on him as he answers with interest while Ethan struggles to handle the attention Joah's giving him without getting flustered
As Joah continues to talk they eventually reached they're first lecture room, Joah sits on the back of the classroom
before Ethan could decide where to sit he felt a little tug on his uniform,
"where are you going "
The tone in Joah's voice sounds like with genuine curiosity, As if expecting Ethan to sit next to him
as the lesson begins the professors begins to call out names for attendance and starts the lesson A few minutes later a question hangs on the air
"Make you're own quotes"
After a few students later eventually the professor calls Joah's name
"The best way to predict the future is to create the way forward"
professor: Explain
"Well the quote follows a strict rule to make or keep things predictable and to ensure success in things you pursued in life"
Joah with that voice like he's been in this class for years, After a Joah, Ethan was called next
"Umm for me it's"
"Everything has meaning, but not all things can be defined by its own existence"
Professor: Well interesting explain
"Well uhm example, Everything has a general definition like books or lie's like books are designed and known to bring knowledge but some books bring joy and other emotions that are completely unrelated to knowledge-blah blah blah
After a few minutes later Ethan was carried away, while Joah listening as he glance towards Ethan's face seeing him happily explaining like he did back in their junior years in high school,as he noticed the way his eyes slightly squinting while setting other examples then until
Ethan realized he said too much
"well umm thats it"
Ethan then abruptly sits down as he his face feels hot due to embarrassment
"you did great Ethan"
Joah pats his head, while grinning trying to comfort him but instead Ethan hides his face while lying his head on the desk using his hands like shields
afterwards class ended.
as he walked beside Joah sometimes they're shoulders brushed slightly with each step
The rest of the day it turns out that they had the exact same schedule
(At this rate i can't focus on the lesson if he's beside me but Lowkey…I'm ENJOYING this but bruhhh i need to focus I came here to learn not to talk to Joah).
