"So...it was said you guys have something very unique to share with us. Can't wait to see and hear it".

Seo Joon said flashing the girls some flirtly looks making them giggle.

Seo Joon eyes caught with Lucy and he looked surprised.

"Gosh, she's so pretty".

He whispered to Lee Dae.

Lee Dae smiled and said.

"Yes I know. And she is For Kim Jo. What do you think? Won't they look good together?"

Lee Dae asked and Seo nodded in respond.

"I was thinking of making her mine. Damn Kim Jo. And you, when did you turn matchmaker?"

"Bro,her eyes sparkle. I like her already".

Lee Dae said stealing glances t Lucy.

"Brother,you have a wife."

"Alright,we can start now".

Lucy shook her head in respond.

"Don't be shy, look at me Lucy ". Lee Dae said to her and the girls became al jealous of Lucy.

Lucy raised her head up to look at Lee Dae and Seo Joon, smiling.

****************

The heavy iron gates of the Kim estate swung open with a silent, hydraulic hiss as the sleek black sedan glided onto the winding cobblestone driveway. Sunlight glinted off the car's polished hood, reflecting the towering oaks that lined the path like silent sentinels. Kim Jo gripped the leather steering wheel, his expression unreadable, though the low hum of the engine seemed to mirror the restless energy beneath his ribs.

He brought the car to a smooth halt beneath the marble portico. A waiting attendant reached for the door, but Jo was already out.

He didn't linger to admire the architecture—the sprawling glass wings and white stone that made the mansion look more like a modern museum than a home.

The front doors yielded to him with a heavy, expensive thud. Inside, the air was cool and smelled faintly of jasmine and Floor wax. He followed the sound of light porcelain clinking against marble, leading him toward the grand dining hall.

His parents were already there, framed by a floor-to-ceiling window that looked out over the manicured rear gardens. His father, Mr. Kim, was buried behind the morning paper, a cup of espresso steam rising beside him. Opposite him sat Jo's mother, looking effortlessly regal in a silk robe, delicately peeling a blood orange.

"You're late for breakfast, Jo," his mother said without looking up, her voice smooth and precise. "But I suppose that car of yours wasn't built for speed, only for making an entrance."

His father lowered the paper just an inch, his sharp eyes pinning Jo to the spot. "Sit. The congee is still hot."

The tension in the room shifted instantly from greeting to something much more personal, and for Jo, far more suffocating.

Mr. Kim set his espresso cup down, the porcelain clicking sharply against the marble table. He looked directly at Jo, his gaze unwavering. "I called you here because I have something very important to discuss with you," he began, his voice dropping to a gravelly, serious tone. "You see, Jo... your mother and I love each other very much. That is why we got married. That is why we gave birth to you."

Jo felt a prickle of impatience. He leaned back, his hand resting near his expensive car keys on the table. "So?" he asked, his voice clipped. "What does that have to do with me?"

"It is time you find a woman," his father stated plainly, as if he were discussing a corporate merger.

Jo's face darkened, a deep frown etching into his forehead. The air in the dining hall suddenly felt much smaller. "What do you mean?" he snapped, his eyes darting to his mother, who remained silent, her elegant hands still folded over her silk robe "if you called me all from my house to this godforsaken house to talk about me marrying, then the conversation is over!"

Kim Jo stood up and straightened his shirt and turned to walk out but Mr. Kim next words felt as if cold water was being poured on him.

" I am giving you three months to bring us your bride. As at of now,all you bank account had been frozen and you no longer have access to all the houses, cars and whatever you have except for the one you are currently in"

Kim Jo slowly turned to look at his parents and slowly dropped into his knees.

His expression changing for anger to despair.

"Dad..you can't do that to your only child."

But Mr. Kim continued " I have contacted your manager, warning him about you. You are not allowed to go preforming until you bring me your wife, understood?"

Kim Jo felt like fainting at that moment. He looked at his mother, hoping for help but damn. Mrs.Kim face was hard to read.

" If you try anything stupid,I will have to quit your music career and come help me with the business. You are free to go "

Mr. Kim concluded and buried himself into the paper he was reading from.

"Ma..." Kim Jo called his mother giving her a helpless look but she ignored him

" Don't call me son. I need Grandchildren"

Kim Jo ran his hand through his hair and sat on the floor kicking his legs like a kid who's parents had grounded.

That behavior gives away his childish act.

"When you are done, you can leave, okay? But if you want breakfast, join in"

Mrs. Kim said and smirked.

"Are you even my biological parent?" Kim Jo muttered silently to himself but he got no choice but to follow his parents instructions.

"Three months " he whispered " how lucky you will be golddigger "

He cursed.
