Blood and his partner were irruptively dropped in a red clouded space after the forceful suckling of the tumultuous space. Spatial energy still bounded them together as they rolled on each other, going downhill.
They covered their eyes as they waited for the momentum to reduce, but it seems they were gaining instead.
Realization dawned on them as they realized the graveness of their situation amidst consistent pain and bruises.
"Haaa!"
They both screamed at the same time, hopefully waiting for some help but only the silence of the domain greeted them.
It was a silent welcome!
"Help! Help!"
They both cried as the dived down the hill, however nothing answered them but heavy silence.
Without waiting for help that may never come, Blood quickly recollected himself,
"Quickly envelop yourself with your energy, let's see if we can break the space bound." Blood said, eating a mouthful of sand in the process.
Ballock quickly understood but he wasn't really sure if it would work, however it was better than doing nothing. They would turn to paste the moment they struck the ground by their current speed.
They both exploded their energy which made them bounce, lifting them about five meter in the air, falling at a crushing speed.
They could feel the space bound loosening as some gap appeared between them, but they have to go through the aftermath of their action.
"Ouchhh, shit.."
They both spatted as they slammed heavily on the rough soil.
"Oh mothersacker." Blood spluttered out some nonsense as they tried to hold the pain.
It was a heavy hit.
Moreover, it seemed it paid off as the bound shattered, perhaps due to the force of the smash. They thanked goodness as they immediately used their tools to stop the momentum.
They could see vegetations far off in the distance, which most likely meant they were reaching the end of the sloppy hill. The rebound effect would be deadly if they were to smash the foot of the hill at their current speed.
They tightened the hilt of their weapons as they lodged it in the semi-hard soil which reduced their speed greatly as they left a long trail.
They retracted their weapons from its hooks while swinging themselves upward with the support of their weapons, from time to time which minimized their fall greatly.
They were now falling at a slower speed that could be said to be 'safe'. They lifted themselves up once again and when falling freely in the air, they struck their weapons into the earth once again.
They were only an inch away from touching the ground when they stopped. Their feet could touch the ground easily at will.
Their breaths were heavy which appear to be the only sound in the eerie space.
They really succeeded the fall!
Tears almost fall down Ballock's eyes. He actually thought they were done for.
They were still children anyway.
Although, they were assured that they were safe at ten meters from the ground, however, it was a different thing altogether from the start.
Blood placed his feet slowly on the leveled surface as he looked around to gain a sense of position.
In front of him was a field of vegetation which was spread throughout. The hill which they fell from went far off in the distance from both sides, the length which couldn't be estimated from their position.
He patted the panicked Ballock while he also tried to calm his thundering heart which seemed as if it would come out of his chest any moment from now.
Blood looked at his spear whose shape seem to have worsen. The whole structure had declined and couldn't be used anymore. It looked like the spearhead would fall off with a light tap.
It was an empty weapon.
There was a weapon he saw on sale in the shop section of the Blood Book and was aiming for, but his exp wasn't enough.
He discovered there were some weapons, alchemy products and other items placed for sell in the shop before he encountered those groups.
Even though he had killed a large number of beasts in the forest before trouble emerged, he hadn't checked if it was enough for the weapon.
It was an extremely long halberd with sharp and thinned edges with a sturdy handle. The moment he set his eyes on the halberd, he knew it was perfect for him.
But alas, his exp was nothing at that time since all accumulated exp were being converted to mutation exp.
Anyway, the duo walked closely to a fallen tree, since they had to regain their energy and clear the bruises from their body.
Blood sat Ballock gently who seem to house more bruises and some flashy tears before taking a sit himself by his side and brought out some ointment, when he realized the healing pills and portions were almost out of stock.
They had to manage from now on especially since they arrived in this unknown place with eerie vibe.
Blood realized that the heaven and earth energy flowing in this place was actually different from the normal heaven and earth energy they cultivated in their 'normal' place. This energy was apprehending!
He was skeptical about it and had this rough thought that perhaps... a really big perhaps that they've crossed worlds through the abrupt seizure. He had heard there were other worlds like theirs but different while Empty world and Beast world portals are more frequent.
The Blood Book seem to answer to his doubts as a screen popped up before him…
[Host has come in contact with a primordial energy—Blood Qi]
[Description: Blood Qi, an essential energy cultivated by Blood cultivators, which is a paramount ingredient in their cultivation that without which they wouldn't be able to exert 60 percent of their full strength. When they break through different realms without cultivating in the Blood Qi, their proficiency, talents and other abilities linking to Blood Qi would be severely weakened until they eventually become like normal cultivators with basic efficiency.]
Blood read the information which made his eyes lit up. This clearly meant that the Blood Qi he encountered was of utmost importance to him as it was to other Blood cultivators which also made him to realize he wasn't the only one on the Blood path.
Besides, it also meant he had been cultivating using the wrong energy all along and was harming and lowering the heights of his potential. Blood repeatedly nodded his head in deep thought with a finger on his jaw.
He came back to his senses later with a new-found light. He knew he had to be careful from now onward regarding the energy he choose for cultivation.
He looked out into the green forest again and his face turned into a smile. There were blood fumes in the air and throughout where his eyes could reach, which seem to be a normal thing for this domain.
Blood handed Ballock the ointment and proceeded to remove his shirt. He then saw clearly how Ballock's wounds were being healed by themselves, albeit slowly.
Comparing it with Blood's healing speed would be like comparing a snail with a pregnant ant!
They were equally surprised before they sat back down reluctantly as he helped him apply the ointment. The speed by which his body heals was bewildering and thought he'd keep the medicine for other time.
He carefully applied the medicine though, while he diverted his attention to the notification he missed when he was in a hassle…
