It's 5:pm in the evening Leon was drenched in sweat as he laid on the ground before grabbing a bottle of water for a drink.
"Gulp" hah that was exhausting, I have been training non-stop for five hours now what's my progress Leon voiced his thoughts before opening his tab to check.

"Sigh" after all that excruciating training my progress is still ten percent Leon sighed dejectedly.
But I guess I now have a clear understanding of how the first stage works, apparently the first stage of lightning God technique grants Leon the ability to cast forth electric arcs through his body but the process is excruciatingly painful as he got electrified many times before slowly getting used to it, he first has to familiarize himself with the use of lightning. Making his every body absorb the lightning both into his heart, Bones and his organs,he have to accept the lightning energy before he can even reach half of the first stage.
Leon clenched his hands into a fist as blue lightning sparked around his arms for a brief moment.
Leon freshen up and have his dinner before logging into the cultivators forum granted to him after registering as a cultivator on his mobile communicator.
He opened the forum before heading straight to the mission section.....he stroll through the missions available for black grade cultivator but nothing caught his attention, just as he was about to close the page he saw a mission that pique his interest.
The mission was posted on the forum since a week now with no one able to complete it, the mission is about a group of cultivators criminals from the underworld terrorizing a town in a tier seven city.
Leon clicked on the mission as he checked it out, the mission is to take down the criminals by killings them since they have killed many cultivators and ordinary humans.... the exterminator organization decided that killing them is a fair play so Leon won't be sued for killing them but he has to bring one of the criminals alive to the exterminator organization branch nearby for questioning, apparently the criminals are a total of fifty people....ten beginner level black grade, twenty middle level black grade, and finally twenty peak level black grade and it stated that they are quite stronger with some of them having unlocked their abilities.
For a normal black grade cultivator this mission is impossible to complete but not Leon as he believes he can handle them all just not by fighting them head-on and to top it off the reward is five thousand silver coins utterly tempting Leon and to make him unable to back out a notification popped up.

Hahahaha! Leon laughed in amusement, seems like a hard quests but there's no way am backing out not after the reward and failure.
Leon scrolled down the mission before seeing the accept mission button,he then clicked on it before filling his details and information, the mission then showed the notification in progress at it's top.... Leon went to bed early as he decided to go on the mission early tomorrow morning.

In a town somewhere in a tier seven city at an apartment a young man in his twenties was on the cultivators forum scrolling through the sets of mission at the black grade, just then he saw a mission with in progress at the top....he clicked on it to check it out.
"Who is foolish enough to accept this mission" he said before strolling down the mission which is the same one Leon accepted, he scroll to the bottom of the page before seeing the number of people going on the mission. He almost jumped off his bed when he saw the number one as only one person is going on the mission.
"What the hell just one person, does he have a death wish or something even me a peak level black grade and my gangs of fifteen middle and peak level black grade people couldn't even succeed. It seems like this dude's got balls.... I bet he won't even last a day" he said before laying back down on his bed and continue strolling, since he couldn't see the person information for privacy reasons he couldn't fathom who it could be but he decided to keep an eye on the mission because he believe the person will fail.

The next morning Leon woke up at 5:05 am sharp as the world is still in darkness slightly, he stood up and freshen up before packing his stuff but while doing so he heard a sound from his communicator.
'DING'
Leon checked his mobile communicator before realizing that it's a message from Ariel.
"Ariel: sorry I took too long to reply I forgot that I saved your contact on this communicator"
Huh does she have more than one communicator, I wonder what she uses them for Leon thought before typing.
"Leon: ohh okay so do you need me for something"
"Ariel: yes I need you to give me your information about these"
Leon received a list of what she needed information about before typing it and sent it.
"Ariel: I will need it for your registration at the academy.....are you free today perhaps"
"Leon: no I have some stuff to do for a few days I will let you know when am done"
"Ariel: ohh okay then.... I await your message have a nice day"
Leon pocket his mobile communicator after chatting with Ariel briefly he packed some food, water and his armour which he didn't get to use after buying it.
He picked up his bag... scrapping it on one of his shoulders before stepping out of the house, apparently the mission is situated at grock town three town away from where Leon currently resided and it will take him ten hours of journey to reach there by train.
He boarded the train also powered by beast energy and paid eighty silver coins for the travel thankfully he has enough for him to sustain.
'SFUUUUUUU'
The train began moving slowly at first but then faster and faster, this is Leon's first time boarding a train as he didn't have the funds to do so before..... since the journey will take ten hours to reach he paid another fifty silver coins for a private room for him to train his technique.
Leon entered the room which is very spacious even more than the house he's living, he set his bag down on the bed before sitting on the ground in a meditative pose as blue lightning danced around his body vividly.

Ten hours passed by quickly as Leon has been training and learning the first stage of the technique for that period of time occasionally taking a five minutes break before continuing.
Beads of sweat trickled down his face as he breathe heavily before checking his progress.

"Sigh" Leon sighed dejectedly as he mutters 'this is going to take a while', he then freshen up and stepped out of the train arriving at a huge town twice the size of the one he's staying at.
Grock town is a city with nourish resources as Leon could see huge buildings, people in fine clothing and shops with the smallest size doubles the size of the biggest shop in the town Leon came from.
Leon proceeded walking through the street as he noticed that even with the big and beautiful buildings everywhere the place has few humans present outside with some having a sad look on their faces and some houses with closed windows.
It seems like the appearance of those criminals devastated the people here Leon said before looking through the street for a while.... since the exterminator organization has provided Leon with all the information he needed ranging from where they stay to their power level and abilities making it easier for Leon to complete the quest.
He took a cab towards the location before booking a hotel near the place slightly.....he booked for two days stay with a hundred silver coins, Leon complains a little due to the price but he couldn't do much since there's a guarantee security for his stay in the hotel making him save but Leon doesn't need those but still accepts it nonetheless.
Leon is now down to a hundred and eighty silver coins but he didn't think much about it since he's going to earn a lot by completing the mission.
After sorting out his stuff at the hotel Leon stepped out and headed towards the supposed location of the criminals.
The location was a huge camp on a open field as a big building just a story building settled in the middle with small tents surrounding the building which appears to be that it's being guarded.
I wonder what's in the building Leon thought as he checked out the building by hiding in the bushes.
Leon checked the time and realizes that it's 6:00 pm in the evening almost sunset, Leon decided to carry out his attack when night fall as he intented to assassinate them one by one before resorting to an attack head-on but in the meantime he inspected them.
An hour passed by as night befall the sky turning the world into darkness but the streets behind Leon is brightly lit with street lights, but at the camp the criminals set up a campfire with only the building having a light slightly.
During Leon's time inspecting them he notices some humans being held captives but mostly womens as they are about twenty of them ranging from twenty to thirty years old.
Leon approach the first tent which was the farthest away from the rest of the camp, outside the tent Leon saw two groups of people sitting and drinking occasionally telling jokes, Leon cast his inspection skill on them.

After checking them out Leon brought out his newly bought black grade dagger as he has grown fond of daggers recently.
Leon picked up a small piece of rock before throwing it slightly in a direction creating a sound that attracts both of the men attention.
"Who's there" one of them said as the other signal towards the man to check it out.
The man Henry went towards the location the sound came from unaware that Leon's trailing behind him,he stopped near the piece of rock Leon threw looking at it in confusion when suddenly.

The man's head fell off his neck before even realizing what happened.

The other man Lucas realizing that his colleagues is taking too long decided to check up on him but after arriving at the location he didn't see anyone except from blood stains..... just as he turned around to alert his companions his throat was slashed killing him instantly.
