Chapter 1 - The Trap (A Dark Night)

Lily rushed toward the elevator the moment she stepped into the lobby of a luxurious hotel, one renowned throughout the country—a place only the upper class could afford.

Her worn-out clothes drew strange looks from the people around her, but Lily ignored them and quickened her pace.

Her face was filled with anxiety as she recalled the conversation she had with Elma just moments ago—her desperate plea for help.

'Lily, please help me… someone is trying to hurt me!' Elma's voice had trembled in fear.

Sweat began to form on Lily's forehead, yet she didn't slow down. Her eyes were fixed on the numbers above the elevator panel, her finger repeatedly pressing the 'up' button as if it could make it arrive faster.

Anxiously, Lily tried to call Elma on her phone, but there was no answer. A growing sense of dread tightened around her chest—she feared that something terrible might have already happened to her sister.

Ding!

The elevator doors slid open. Lily stepped inside without hesitation. The metal box began to rise, carrying her to the floor where the room Elma had mentioned was located.

As soon as it stopped, Lily rushed out and hurried down the corridor, her eyes scanning the numbers on each door she passed.

Her steps slowed as her heartbeat pounded harder. She stopped in front of a door that was slightly ajar.

Holding her breath, Lily checked the room number once more.

"This is it…"

A swirl of emotions filled her chest. With trembling hands, she slowly reached out… and pushed the door open.

Despite her racing heart and shaking hands, Lily forced herself to step inside. Right now, Elma's safety was all that mattered.

Her steps were slow, almost silent. Nervousness made her breathing uneven, while a cold sweat dampened her palms.

"Elma…" she called softly.

Silence.

Darkness.

Her eyes darted around, trying to pierce through the shadows that filled the room. She struggled to adjust her vision, hoping to catch even the faintest glimmer of light—or at least find Elma.

But the darkness only seemed to close in on her, pressing against her chest. Fear slowly crept through her veins, making it hard to breathe. Lily hated situations like this.

Bang!

"Elmm—mph!"

The door behind her slammed shut. Before she could react, a hand clamped tightly over her mouth, cutting off her voice completely.

Her body went rigid.

Then, a low whisper brushed against her ear, sending chills down her spine.

"Who sent you?" The voice was cold… and filled with pressure.

Lily shook her head frantically. Fear tightened its grip around her, suffocating her. Her eyes turned red as tears pooled, ready to fall at any second.

Thud!

Her small body was thrown roughly onto the bed. She trembled violently, crying in fear as she instinctively scooted backward, trying to put distance between herself and the man in front of her.

"W-where… where is Elma?" Her voice shook uncontrollably.

Silence.

In the darkness, Lily couldn't make out the figure before her at all. The cold aura radiating from him made the atmosphere even more suffocating, as if freezing her in place.

Panicking, Lily crawled toward the edge of the bed, feeling around for a way down. She had to get out. Now.

But before she could escape, the man grabbed her wrist roughly.

"Ah—!"

Her body fell back onto the bed. In an instant, he was already above her, pinning both her wrists over her head.

"P-please… sir… let me go…" Lily's voice trembled, nearly breaking between her sobs. "I… I'm not that kind of woman…"

But to him, her weak plea sounded different—like something that only fueled the fire within him.

"You came to me," he whispered coldly against her ear, "so face the consequences."

Lily shook her head desperately, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"N-no… I came here to help my sister…"

But the man didn't seem to care. His grip tightened, suppressing every futile attempt she made to break free.

Lily struggled, but the difference in their strength was overwhelming. Her body trembled uncontrollably, fear completely consuming her.

"Please… don't…"

Her voice weakened, barely audible.

A suffocating silence filled the room, as if it bore witness to a night that would change everything.

Without giving her a chance, the man silenced Lily once more. His touch and movements were overwhelming, making her lose control of herself completely. In a matter of moments, she was utterly powerless.

Tears streamed down her face without end. That night became a silent witness to the destruction of her life.

The man paused for a brief moment, as if realizing something unexpected.

She…?

A flicker of doubt crossed his mind—but only for an instant. The turmoil within him was too strong to stop.

Lily shut her eyes tightly, her body trembling. She wanted to fight back, to run away, but everything felt hopeless.

The night went on—long, dark, and merciless.

His breathing grew heavier, his emotions spiraling out of control. Anger and desire intertwined, clashing within him.

"You…" his voice was low, almost like a growl, "you make me lose control."

And that night ended with a wound that would never truly heal.
