Chapter 1 - The Dragon War: World War 3

The year was 2047. The world had already survived two terrible wars in history — World War I and World War II. People believed humanity had learned its lesson.

But they were wrong.

Tensions between powerful nations slowly grew. Technology became more dangerous than ever. Artificial intelligence controlled weapons, satellites filled the skies, and secret experiments were happening in underground laboratories.

Then one night, everything changed.

A mysterious energy explosion occurred in the Himalayan mountains between India and China. Satellites captured something impossible emerging from the glowing crater.

A creature.

Not a machine.

Not an animal.

A dragon.

Scientists were shocked. Governments panicked. The creature was over 200 meters long, with glowing blue scales and wings that could block the sun.

It roared once, and the mountains shook.

The world soon learned a terrifying truth: the explosion had opened a dimensional gate to another world — a magical realm filled with ancient creatures.

Within weeks, more creatures appeared.

Dragons.

Winged wolves.

Shadow giants.

The United Nations tried to respond, but fear turned into blame. Countries accused each other of creating the portal as a secret weapon.

War began.

This conflict would soon be called World War III.

But this war was unlike any before.

Soldiers fought not only against other armies but also against magical creatures that no weapon could fully destroy. Fighter jets battled dragons in the sky. Tanks fired at giant beasts marching through cities.

The world felt like an anime battlefield, where science and fantasy collided.

In the middle of this chaos lived a 17-year-old boy named Arjun Rao from Bengaluru.

Arjun was an ordinary student who loved drawing anime heroes. His favorite characters were brave warriors who protected the world.

But one day, while escaping an attack by a flying dragon, Arjun discovered something strange.

A glowing crystal fell from the sky.

When he touched it, energy rushed through his body.

Suddenly, he could hear the dragons.

Not their roars.

Their thoughts.

One dragon spoke directly to him.

"We are not your enemies."

Arjun realized the truth: the creatures from the other world were fleeing a dark force that was destroying their realm. When the portal opened, they escaped to Earth.

But humans misunderstood them and attacked.

And now, a far greater enemy was coming.

From the portal emerged a gigantic shadow creature called The Void King — a being made of darkness and energy that could swallow entire cities.

Even dragons feared it.

Arjun understood his mission.

He gathered a small group of young fighters from different countries — Japan, India, Brazil, and Germany. Together they formed a team called The Sky Guardians.

Using technology and magical powers from the dragons, they learned to fly, fight, and protect the world.

The final battle happened above the ruins of Tokyo.

Hundreds of dragons filled the sky. Fighter jets roared through the clouds. Lightning from the Void King shattered buildings below.

Arjun flew on the back of the largest dragon, holding the glowing crystal.

"You are the bridge between worlds," the dragon told him.

With courage, Arjun unleashed the crystal's power and sealed the portal, trapping the Void King forever between dimensions.

The war ended.

The dragons did not leave Earth.

Instead, humans and magical creatures formed a new alliance.

Cities were rebuilt.

And the world finally understood a powerful lesson:

War begins when we fear what we do not understand.

Peace begins when we listen.

From that day forward, history would remember this conflict not only as World War III, but also as:

The Dragon War.
