CHAPTER ONE
Beautiful things they said comes from the lord but in this novel man never waited for Gods time. It all happened one faithful day lady Esther wasn't happy with the way she was barren because everyone rendered different insults on her, some said she was a witch whiles others said she has removed her womb due to the reckless lifestyle she had lived when she you still in the university. This torment of her childlessness grew to the extent she nearly committed suicide but was stopped but one of her friend Titi, who in the other hand is a bad company to lady Esther, Titi had done more harm than good to someone she called her friend but Esther has failed to see the writing on the wall. One gracious morning when the neighborhood was very warm and calm, Titi told Ester about a river where people go to make sacrifices and also for worship, the idea was a dangerous one for Esther and also her husband is a powerful man of God, and that she can't possibly buy the idea Titi has offered.
