The two colossal monsters towered above the ocean floor, their massive bodies so enormous they seemed to pierce the distant clouds themselves.
The sight alone felt unreal.
Click! Clack!
The gigantic crab rapidly opened and closed its massive pincers, the soundwaves violently shaking the water below with each snap.
Then—
RRRROOOOOAAARRR!!
The squid-like creature let out a deafening roar.
Its enormous tentacles twisted and waved through the air, casting shadows over the ocean beneath them.
The sea churned violently.
And then—
Both monsters charged.
The water beneath their massive bodies rippled outward like miniature tsunamis as they lunged toward each other.
The kraken struck first.
Two gigantic tentacles shot forward, wrapping tightly around the crab's right pincer.
The crab retaliated immediately, swinging its other claw toward the kraken with terrifying force—
But another pair of tentacles intercepted it mid-motion, coiling tightly around the second claw.
For a moment—
The crab was restrained.
But only for a moment.
The crab suddenly pulled backward with overwhelming strength, yanking the kraken forward so violently the ocean itself seemed to shift.
Then—
It slammed its massive body directly into the kraken's head.
BOOOOM!
The impact sent shockwaves across the sea.
The small island resting on the crab's shell shook violently from the collision.
"Gnt—!"
Zachary nearly lost his footing, barely managing to stay upright as the ground beneath him tilted dangerously.
Sand slid from the shell and poured into the ocean below.
Zachary quickly looked toward the edge of the crab's back.
An idea formed in his mind instantly.
Without hesitation—
He ran.
The island continued sliding apart behind him as the battle between the two colossal creatures intensified.
Then—
Zachary jumped.
The moment his body left the crab's shell—
"Come forth… Gryphon!" He shouted.
A black circle appeared in midair.
The undead griffin materialized almost instantly, its enormous wings spreading wide as it emerged from the darkness.
Zachary landed perfectly onto its back.
FWOOSH!
Gryphon flapped its wings powerfully, carrying Zachary away from the battlefield below while the colossal crab and kraken continued tearing into each other beneath the raging ocean sky.

Dark blood erupted into the ocean as the sliced tentacle crashed into the water below.
The kraken writhed violently in pain.
RRRRAAAAGHHH!!
Its remaining tentacles flailed wildly across the sea, smashing against the water hard enough to create massive waves.
Then—
Three of its tentacles suddenly wrapped tightly around one of the crab's claws.
The kraken pulled with everything it had.
Its gigantic body trembled from the effort as it desperately tried to break free.
The crab retaliated immediately.
It swung its remaining claw downward toward the tentacles restraining it, intending to sever them completely.
But at the exact last moment—
The kraken let go.
And—
SLASH!
The crab's own claw sliced clean through itself.
For a split second—
Everything went still.
Then.. blood exploded outward.
A massive spray burst into the ocean like a ruptured fountain, staining huge portions of the sea crimson red.
