Back in the Brooklyn borough, the Cat Clan was holding a ceremony in front of the Brooklyn Public Library to honor their warriors. Every cat in Williamsburg was there, even Fiona could be seen in the crowd. The cat soldiers stood on the steps of the library in between the two lion statues, with Ricci and MacLeod in the front.
"Ronin, you have proven yourself beyond a shadow of a doubt," says MacLeod. "I absolve you of all crimes."
"A master who raised a fighter such as yourself must surely be a man of great wisdom. Perhaps there is more truth to this Central Park than we realize. Therefore, I grant you free passage through our territory, but on one condition, that my most trusted soldier joins you on your noble quest."
Ricci places his fist over his heart and bows his head slightly, "I thank you for your just and merciful ruling. It was an honor to fight at your side. I will graciously accept the company of your chosen warrior."
Lionel steps forward from the crowd. "You ready to bring the myth to life, dragon slayer?" he says with a smirk.
