Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Zi...

A sound like an electric current triggers fragments of memory, like flashes of the past. Ren is certain—he is not dreaming.

His consciousness is clear, and he can even feel the sensations around him...

Yet he remains trapped here, unable to wake up!

"Toshinori, you're here... how is your body recovering?"

That voice feels familiar!

Ren suddenly realizes—it's Gran Torino.

Toshinori?

"It has mostly recovered. My active time is now limited to three hours a day. U.A. High has sent an invitation. I... want to go and see."

The weak voice is familiar, yet carries a completely different tone.

All Might!

Ren recognizes it instantly, but...

What is he planning to do? And U.A. High...

"Why..."

Gran Torino sighs, glancing at Ren, who lies breathing steadily on the bed. He can't help but recall the boy who used to compete with him over taiyaki.

But five years have passed in the blink of an eye...

And there's still no sign of him waking up.

"...This time, I'm also here to say goodbye to the boy," All Might says quietly, looking at the figure on the bed.

The events from five years ago remain vivid in his memory, yet Ren never woke again.

Though miraculously unharmed, he fell into a deep sleep.

"Have faith in him. After all, he was once connected to One For All..." Gran Torino says softly, though his words trail off.

Then, as if coming to a decision, he adds—

"Go. Find new hope."

"Ren... you have to wake up..."

Clenching his fists slightly, the weakened All Might says his farewell and turns to leave.

"I'll walk you out..."

Gran Torino hops down from his stool and opens the door.

The room falls silent once more, leaving only the ticking of the clock and the faint hum of a microwave.

Ren feels an odd sense of familiarity with all of it...

Zi...

The electric current-like sound echoes in his mind again.

But this time, Ren realizes his connection to the outside world has been completely cut off...

"What is this?"

As his consciousness shifts, an unseen force seems to pull him—

From behind...

Or perhaps in response to his own will!

This power feels like it's reacting to him...

Flash—

After a brief moment of blank awareness, a space filled with silver light appears. Ren instinctively raises his hands to shield his eyes.

Then, it slowly lowers them, adjusting to the dazzling brightness.

It resembles a vast space, with countless silver lights flickering across white walls, each one shifting in size and intensity.

The radiant silver glow feels almost futuristic.

Looking around, his attention is drawn to the center—

A silver-white cube, suspended in the air, its sharp corners pointing downward.

Ren is stunned...

Countless streams of 1s and 0s flicker within it, as if awaiting decryption.

The next moment—

The cube suddenly releases a streak of electricity, striking him directly before he can react.

Like a bolt of silver lightning, it hits his forehead.

"Hiss..."

A brief sting passes, and Ren slowly opens his eyes.

Five years ago, when he first arrived in this world, he saw heroes everywhere, along with the existence of powers known as Quirks.

Ren immediately recognized it—this was the world of My Hero Academia!

However, after some investigation, Izuku Midoriya was still just a child...

Which meant—

After calculating the timeline, Ren realized he had arrived five years before the main story began!

Like most transmigration scenarios, he had a system...

But the binding failed due to insufficient energy.

This system, called [Extraction], was his greatest advantage.

According to its function, once fictional elements fully manifest into reality, reaching 100% synchronization, the system can extract them.

Not just abilities, but even items.

Because of this, Ren finally understood why the system had failed to bind at first...

Such a powerful ability required time.

So, in a short period, he began serializing a passionate, action-packed story in comic form—"Super Seminary"!

In this hero-dominated world, comics were already part of everyday life.

However, due to the overwhelming presence of Quirks, most stories struggled to stand out.

But in this era of stagnant creativity, Ren was surprised to find that "Super Seminary" broke through those limitations almost instantly.

The top hero publications were usually dominated by hero reports and records of their achievements.

Naturally—

At that time, the most popular content was All Might's own hero features!

But then—

"Super Seminary" appeared out of nowhere, pushing aside competing works and rising rapidly to the top.

Its appeal resonated with readers.

Even in a world with Quirks, the story's powerless characters rising against overwhelming alien forces struck a chord.

The comic quickly dominated its genre, and as its influence spread, the system's progress bar surged.

Unfortunately—

Just as the system was about to fully activate...

All For One appeared at that critical moment.

And so—

During the final battle between All Might and All For One, Ren made an extremely dangerous decision.

As the memory ends there, Ren withdraws his thoughts—

Only to freeze in shock the next moment.

The silver cube begins to rotate slowly, and a mechanical voice echoes through the space.

"Host detected. Consciousness active. System binding initiated."
