Heading towards the closest alley that he could find around him, Alan headed inside slowly, making sure to keep his eyes peeled trying to see if he could notice anything whilst making as little sound as he possibly could whilst walking.
'Those things aren't exactly fast but they aren't slow either and I really don't want to find out what happens when I actually get striked by one of those tentacle attacks.' Alan thought to himself, his mind already imagining the slime like substance getting inside his body through his mouth and nostrils.
'Ugh… stop, stop thinking about it.' Alan thought as he shivered on the spot, it was at that moment however that he caught sight of something with the corner of his eye.
Turning his gaze quickly, his eyes widened, there were three large green blobs stuck on the surface of the wall, each of them were eating what seemed to be random plastics they had found on the ground.
This was the first time that Alan was actually getting a clear look at them, the last one had died whilst still being covered by the trash and then had quickly evaporated into green motes of light before he could observe it at all.
The slimes were around half a meter wide in diameter though their height didn't seem to be that large, and they were constantly releasing a sort of acidic substance whenever they moved that seemed to sizzle into anything that it touched, though the acid wasn't strong enough to create a hole into the wall or ground.
'The way that they're releasing that acid is somewhat reminiscient of how snails release the substance that covers their entire bodies.' Alan thought to himself as he took a single step back and gripped his spear harder.
It was at that moment as he was about to start his attack that he finally noticed the last thing about the monsters before him.
Deep inside their body, floating in the slime like substance was a round black ball that wasn't dissolving at all in comparison to the plastic bottles and bags that the slimes had ingested. And all three of them had the exact same one.
'That… is that a core of sorts? The hard thing that I felt when I attacked the first slime that then got broken with that glass shattering noise, causing it to die instantly.' Alan thought as he planted his feet firmly onto the ground and thrust his spear forward with as much power as he could.
The air whistling as the spear tore through it and headed directly into the slime, going through the half digested objects it had devoured and striking the black core like ball inside of it.
*Shatter*
The sound of glass shattering rang out instantly and in less than a second, the slime that had maintained its bubble like form until now, instantly turned to pure liquid that fell down onto the ground.

'Observe' Alan thought inside his mind as he instantly gazed at the other two slimes that were left as he took three steps back as quickly as he could.
He hadn't waited to use his observe skill on the first slime simply for the fact that he was afraid he would lose the element of surprise if he waited even one second longer and thus he had decided to use it only after already having defeated one of the enemies.

[ Green Slime Weakness: The Centarl mana core inside of their bodies is extremely voulnerable to physical and mana based attacks. It is the main component that holds up their liquid body together. Shattering It would result in an instant kill. ]
'Infitnite… health? So that means that I woldn't be able to defeat them no matter how much I striked the slime, the core is the only way to possibly defeat them, and infinite stamina? As in they never get tired… thats quite broken. But still, their weakness is fatal, in a way it could be said that the real monster is the ball and the slime is just the armor and weapons that It's put on.' Alan thought to himself as he instantly jumped towards the side as two large tendrils thrust towards the position that he had just been in.
'That was close… I can start theorising again after I'm no longer in a damned fight.' Alan thought to himself as he took a quick breath before launching himself forwards before the tendril of slime could retract back to the main body.
"Aaaahhh!" With a shout, He thrust the makeshift Knife spear as much as he could from his running position, directly towards the black glass core inside of its body.
*Shatter*
Without waiting for another second, Alan didn't even bring the spear back as he ungripped one of his hands off the spear and then turned his body horizontal to the way he had thrust the spear and then put the hand he had ungripped back onto the spear body and shoved it as much as he could.
Slashing directly through the other slime that had been next to the one he had just defeated and cutting through it viscous green body easily before slicing right through the glass core and instantly shattering it in half.

'Alright stop with these damned notifications already.' Alan thought as he almost felt like he was about to have a headache from the constant pinging bell like sounds ringing out directly inside his mind.
