Zein's Point of View.....
Darkness...
I don't know where I am. I can't see anything. Fear and anxiety envelop me.
Where am I?
I walked... slowly. I didn't know if this darkness had an end until sudden blurred images appeared.
Chaotic... running around... the screams are deafening.
Among the scrambling people, two individuals particularly caught my attention.
My chest tightened as I saw their hands intertwined...
I watched as many people surrounded them... I couldn't understand anything but I felt like I was going to die.
I closed my eyes when I saw him hug his companion. In the man, I see the figure of the person I'm willing to fight for but... Who is the woman he hugged?

Sweat-drenched, my eyes opened in a white room with no furniture and a iron-made door.
I tried to stand up but my body ached terribly. I also felt other parts of my body trembling... probably because of the electrocution I received.
Mia and the others... They escaped.
At least I breathed a sigh of relief. I hope they are in good condition. At least for now I stood by my promises to myself.
It's just sad that the promise I made to return might not be fulfilled anymore. They won't let me go. I couldn't help but smile to myself and stare at the white ceiling.
Suddenly I remembered that dream again. What does it mean? Why am I so affected? I'm confused but I'm more confused about what I'm feeling.

I closed my eyes when I felt a strange feeling while thinking that they hurt Supremo.

I tried to stand up again and this time I managed a little even though I'm still weak. I tried to open the door even though I knew it was locked.
I bit my lip when my back ached because of the force I poured into trying to open the door.

I paused for a moment when I heard a rustle from the lock outside. I waited for it to open.
I just watched two people in lab gowns approach me and hold both my arms. I tried to retrieve them but my body couldn't handle it and the fact that they are physically large.

They didn't budge and because I had no strength to fight back, they easily dragged me out of that room. Like a wilted vegetable, I let them carry me.
We went out of a building.
I looked around outside where there was no one. It's unusual that I don't meet any students. They are probably all locked up now. Everyone who is not part of their plan is their captive.
We quietly took the path towards the Admin Office where there are guards on duty now.
Many guards whom I think are Madame Violet's men are scattered all around the premises, seemingly protecting this place.
We stopped when some people in laboratory gowns came out carrying an unconscious man. Fuck! Don't tell me-
When we entered, my attention was caught by another door that I just saw now. I just smiled as the ideas forming in my mind slowly processed.
I winced when they suddenly pulled me. We entered a door where there were stairs going down.
Underground.
I was not mistaken. The place where we are now is none other than the Hidden Laboratory.
It is really well-hidden and built underground.
They are really smart. Psh. That's why this place seems normal because a secret that only they know is hidden underneath.
I felt a different feeling upon stepping inside where a lot of lab gowns greeted us. All of them have their own things to do as if they don't care about their surroundings.
The air inside is suffocating.
There are many different colored liquids around but what caught my attention were the human-sized incubators where people were lying down. A lot of apparatus and monitors are scattered around.
My chest tightened as I looked at one of the people inside. Their eyes are closed but you can see from their appearance the extreme suffering they are experiencing inside.
Psh.
They are truly animals. They have black souls to do this kind of shamelessness to innocent people. They are still on earth but their souls are already burning in hell.
Don't they think that what they are doing is inhumane anymore? They are turning these innocent people into animals. Tools for their ambition.
"Well... Well... Well..."
My eyes turned to a woman and a man. Madame Violet who is covering her nose while Liam who is emotionless is looking at me behind her.
The evil mother and his son.
"Hello Miss Secretary... How are you?" Madame Violet said smiling, clearly happy to see me in this situation.
I felt that the ones holding my arm let go and left me in front of Madame Violet and Liam.
I just raised an eyebrow before smirking. "I am better than fine." My playful answer made her chuckle softly.
She looked around the entire Laboratory. You can see the joy in her eyes and smile in what is happening. I can no longer say if this woman is still a human.
"Welcome to our Hidden Laboratory."
"Thank you."
She smirked and approached a person who was busy looking at the monitors. I looked at Liam who quickly looked away.
You must be happy too... Come on."
She didn't turn to look at me, her eyes remaining averted. I just shook my head.
"Sorry..."
"For what?"
She finally looked at me, where sadness could now be seen in her eyes. "Forgive Mommy." She said in a sad tone.
Sorry?
I just laughed at what she said. Did she think it was that easy?
"Do you think sorry can undo the monstrous things your mother did? Many lives have been lost and continue to be lost." I said bitterly.
Even if she says the word "forgive" her whole life, it will never be enough for the unforgivable things her mother and Francisco did.
Liam, who had not moved from where he stood, looked at me. I felt pity for him somehow. I know he's just his mother's lackey. He has no choice but to obey her. It's just sad that he doesn't have the courage to do what he wants... what is right.
I walked up to him and offered my arm. "Take me to your mother," I said.
He swallowed as he looked into my eyes. Slowly he took my arm and I felt his hand shaking.
Madame Violet and the man in a laboratory gown greeted us. He was probably the head of this study.

"She's your responsibility..." Madame Violet cut off Liam who was facing the man in the lab gown before looking at her son.
"Follow me," Madame Violet said sternly to Liam, who had no choice but to obey.
I was left alone with this man who was just staring at me. "I am Mr. Razon. The head of this operation." He introduced himself.
"I don't care."
He laughed at my answer. He was the man with Madame Violet and Francisco in the gymnasium, the man who greeted me in the hidden laboratory back when my life was in danger.
"You are really look like her. Samantha."
I didn't flinch when he took my arm and opened an incubator. I swallowed as I watched the transparent incubator slowly open.
What will they do to me?
"This is for what?" I asked.
He briefly looked at me before pressing some
buttons on the side.
"For the sake of that formula." He answered.

"What is the secret formula?" I couldn't help but ask.
I want to know what the secret formula is and why we need to go through something like this.
"The rarest type of blood." He said with a smirk.
"Don't worry. If you don't match, you won't suffer." He said.
I had no choice when he forced me to lie down inside the incubator. I felt so weak that I couldn't fight back.
I just watched him put all kinds of devices on my body. Lifelessly, I let them do what they wanted to me.
I feel hopeless...
I screamed in pain when something pricked my arm. It felt like my bones and flesh were being ripped apart. My vision blurred but not enough to lose consciousness.
Damn! It fucking hurts like hell!
The incubator closed as all the pain I was feeling disappeared. I felt numb all over my body. I couldn't hear anything but the very strong pounding of my heart.
For the first time in my life, I felt alone. I never felt this way before because of my friends but now I am feeling it. I feel like I have nothing left.
I closed my eyes when something pricked my other arm. I felt tears fall from my eyes, a mark of pain.
I'm too tired to scream, so my tears will just be a symbol of pain.
A few minutes... I feel my body getting heavy. I feel my heartbeat slowing down. The weight of my eyelids.
I feel like I'm about to be enveloped in endless darkness.
I'm scared. I don't want to die yet but what can I do?
My mouth opened to catch my shallow breath.

...the formula they were looking for was a rare type of blood that couldn't be easily found. That kind of blood is impossible to find, so it will be difficult for them to find it.

I looked at a black liquid in the very middle. Just one more ingredient and it's complete.

I was frozen in place as I looked at the pitifully pale woman.

"Take all her blood..." The Headmistress commanded, cackling. "I don't care if she dies," she added with a smirk.
My jaw dropped at what Madame Violet said, without a trace of a joke. Shit! This ain't good. Zein's heartbeat is slowing down.

I screamed when I felt electricity on my back as two men grabbed me. Even though I was weak, I smiled when I saw the incubator open.
I closed my eyes when the Headmistress slapped
me.
"Lock up that traitor!" She yelled.
I smirked at her. "You don't know her... If I were you, you better hide... He's coming." I said before the guards dragged me away.

We hadn't even gone outside when a very loud explosion happened outside, along with the shaking of the surroundings.
I laughed to myself.
