Chapter 128 - Chapter 127: Uta’s Charisma

After giving Lilith enough time to think, Cain stopped bothering her.

He lowered his head and looked toward the Sabaody Archipelago not far below.

Whitebeard was dead.

The New World falling into complete chaos was now inevitable.

Too many ambitious bastards had their eyes on the territories he had left behind, each one eager to pounce and take a bite for themselves.

The pirates who had remained on the Sabaody Archipelago were probably already heading toward Fish-Man Island in large numbers.

By now, Sabaody was likely already engulfed in battle, chaotic beyond recognition.

Rayleigh was stationed there, and with his strength, keeping Uta safe should not be a problem.

There was no need to worry about her getting hurt.

Even so, Cain had decided to teach those arrogant fools a real lesson.

He wanted those pirates, blinded by greed, to understand one thing clearly: some territories were not things they could touch just because they wanted to.

After all, the one who had inherited the Whitebeard Pirates now was Ace.

The lands once protected by the "strongest man in the world" should now be protected by Ace.

No one would be allowed to trample over them as they pleased.

Thinking this, Cain's body rapidly transformed into his pink dragon form.

The giant dragon streaked through the skies above the Sabaody Archipelago, stirring up howling gusts of wind.

Yet as he looked along the way, he did not see many people.

Only when he flew to the central area of the archipelago did he discover a large group of pirates gathered in one place, shouting noisily.

Every one of them wore an openly vicious grin, and they were waving their hands in perfect unison, though Cain had no idea what they were doing.

Without another word, Cain lowered his dragon head and dove straight down, wrapped in a powerful current of air.

A massive shadow instantly covered the entire area.

Scorching dragon breath churned in his throat as he looked down at everyone from above.

"You've got to be kidding me… Cain? Why are you here?"

Law's voice carried obvious shock.

He instinctively took half a step back, clearly startled by the sudden dragon head descending from above and the terrifying pressure it brought with it.

Cain recognized Law as well and froze for a moment.

He truly could not understand why this guy was here.

But right now, he had no time to think about it.

He immediately let out a dragon roar, and the sound wave swept out with overwhelming pressure, instantly stunning every pirate present into silence.

The pirates all turned back and found themselves staring straight at Cain's approaching dragon head.

"ISN'T THAT GUY…"

"THAT MONSTER FROM THE SUMMIT WAR!"

Cries of shock rose one after another. The pirates trembled in fear, not even daring to run.

But just then, a clear voice suddenly rang out, interrupting Cain's pressure.

"You scared them Cain! You ruined my concert!"

"Hm?! Uta?"

Cain was visibly stunned.

Only then did he lower his head and look over.

At the very center of the crowd, surrounded by pirates on all sides, stood Uta.

Great.

After all that, this was not some pirate riot at all.

Uta was just holding a concert!

'Fuck me'

Cain cursed inwardly.

He had messed up!

At that moment, a figure dressed in a mushroom costume slowly walked over beside him and spoke.

"You brat. If you're back, don't make such a huge scene. Hurry up and get down."

Hearing that familiar voice, Cain froze again. Then he instantly transformed back into human form and jumped down.

After seeing the person clearly, he could not hold back and burst out laughing.

"Pfft—Rayleigh? Why are you dressed like that?"

"What else? Security."

Rayleigh shrugged.

"After the Summit War broadcast ended, the Sabaody Archipelago was chaotic for quite a while. Uta was the one who used her influence to stabilize the situation. Thanks to her, these guys didn't run off to wreak havoc on Fish-Man Island."

"Although there's no microphone or sound equipment, I suppose this still counts as a small concert."

"I see."

Cain nodded, then turned to look toward Uta.

At this moment, Uta was raising her arm and leading the pirates in a chant.

"No trouble, no fighting, together we build a beautiful New World!"

"No trouble, no fighting, together we build a beautiful New World!"

The voices were perfectly synchronized.

Cain felt his scalp go numb and instinctively covered his head.

'Fine.'

When it came to calming a crowd, Uta's method was clearly far more effective than his pressure.

Only now did he finally understand why Law was here.

So Bepo from his crew had wanted to come watch Uta's concert!

Cain nodded toward Law.

Seeing that Uta was about to run toward him, he immediately flashed behind her and directly hoisted her over his shoulder.

Cain still did not want outsiders to know that Uta had any connection with him, a pirate.

At least not yet.

Once some time had passed and the public announcement was made that Uta had officially hired him to take charge of her security, only then would it be suitable for the two of them to appear together openly.

Uta struggled and seemed about to say something, but Cain gave her a look.

She instantly quieted down, understanding his intention.

Cain then leaped onto a high spot and addressed the pirates below.

"You lot are either pirates or scumbags. If you don't want anything to happen to Miss Uta, then behave yourselves and don't cause trouble."

"As for your Miss Uta, I'll have her sing me a lullaby. Don't worry, I'll return her to you!"

As Cain spoke, he revealed a cruel smile, then leaped away with Uta and ran toward another area.

Rayleigh was left standing in place, watching Cain's back with an awkward expression.

That brat had really just dumped everything on him.

Below, the pirates began shouting in panic.

"BASTARD! DON'T THINK YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE STRONG! HURRY UP AND GIVE MISS UTA BACK!"

"UTAAAAAAAAAAA!"

The pirates behind them cried out in despair.

They watched helplessly as the idol in their hearts was forcibly kidnapped by that pink Cain.

Some of them wanted to chase after him, only to realize Cain was far too fast.

They could not catch up at all.

However, Uta shouted loudly from Cain's shoulder,

"EVERYONE, DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME! DO YOU STILL REMEMBER THE SLOGAN?"

"WAAAH, WE REMEMBER!"

"THEN SHOUT IT TOGETHER!"

"NO TROUBLE, NO FIGHTING, TOGETHER WE BUILD A BEAUTIFUL NEW WORLD!"

"MAKE SURE YOU REMEMBER IT!"

"YES!"

The pirates shouted back in despair, still engraving Uta's words firmly into their hearts.

Shakky's bar was especially quiet at the moment.

Because of Uta's concert, most of the pirates had gathered in the center of the archipelago, leaving this place free of its usual noise.

Cain carried Uta through the streets and reached the bar without much effort.

The moment he set Uta down, he turned to greet Shakky behind the counter, who was holding a Den Den Mushi.

He was just about to apologize for ruining Uta's concert when his wrist was suddenly grabbed.

Cain lowered his head.

Uta's face was dark, but there was an emotion hidden in her eyes that was difficult to describe.

Yet at the same time, a faint smile hung on her lips.

Cain instinctively swallowed.

For some reason, he had the feeling that Uta was about to say something he would not be able to handle!

Sure enough, Uta spoke next.

"Hey, Cain. What exactly is going on with that woman called Lilith?"
