Chapter 14 - Part 14: A New Dawn

The war was over. But the stars had one last secret.

The first sunrise after the war painted the sky in shades of gold and silver.

For the first time in centuries, the stars above Elyndor shone whole and bright. The darkness that had haunted the kingdom was gone.

People filled the streets of villages and cities, celebrating their freedom.

Bells rang from every tower.

Songs echoed across the valleys.

And everywhere, people spoke the name of the hero who had saved them.

Aren Vale.

But Aren stood alone on a hill overlooking the capital.

The power of the Fallen Star had left him completely.

He was no longer the Starborn.

Just a young man who had done what he believed was right.

"You should be celebrating," Lyra said as she approached.

Aren smiled softly.

"I never wanted to be a hero."

Lyra laughed.

"That's probably why you became one."

For a moment, they stood together, watching the sunrise.

Nearby, Kael was helping rebuild the damaged city walls.

For once, there was no battle to prepare for.

Only peace.

Days passed.

The kingdom slowly healed.

Fields grew green again.

Trade routes reopened.

Families reunited.

King Aldric declared a great festival in honor of the heroes who had saved Elyndor.

During the celebration, Aren was offered a place among the kingdom's highest nobles.

To everyone's surprise, he refused.

"I don't need a title," he said.

"I only want to live freely."

The crowd cheered.

That night, as fireworks lit the sky, Aren, Lyra, and Kael sat together outside the city.

For the first time since their journey began, they had nowhere they needed to go.

No enemy to chase.

No prophecy to fulfill.

Only friendship.

Only peace.

But far beyond Elyndor, beyond the mountains and the sea, a single star flickered strangely in the night sky.

Aren noticed it.

Just for a second.

A silver light.

Different from all the others.

Then it vanished.

He frowned.

"Did you see that?" he asked.

Lyra looked up.

But the sky was clear.

Aren smiled and shook his head.

Maybe it was nothing.

Maybe.

Yet somewhere in the endless darkness beyond the stars, an ancient power was beginning to awaken.

And a new adventure was waiting.

The End... or perhaps, a New Beginning. ✨🌌⭐️
