Chapter 67 - The Crimson Cleansing—A New Dawn Over Cocoyasi

"BOOM!!"

With a deafening crash, Luffy and Arlong smashed through the floor and into the room located at the very apex of the park.

Sunlight filtered through the shattered windows, illuminating a place that had long been regarded as a forbidden sanctuary.

Luffy climbed out of the rubble. When he saw the scene around him, he froze.

The room was filled with towering stacks of sea charts, so dense they occupied nearly every inch of space. And on the wide drafting table lay countless worn-out pen nibs. Some of the pen barrels were even stained with dark red blood that had long since dried.

Those were the marks left behind by Nami, day after day, year after year, forced to draw these maps for eight long years.

This wasn't a room. This was a cage that had imprisoned a girl's soul.

"Shahahahaha! Do you see it, Straw Hat boy?" Arlong rose from the ruins, grabbing a handful of charts, his face twisted into a greedy, triumphant laugh. "This is that woman's talent! These charts are the most perfect masterpieces in the world!"

"With her, I can master every current in the world! She is a natural genius, the ultimate tool for my global conquest!!" Arlong opened his mouth wide, baring his teeth as he pointed at the blood-stained pens.

"Even if her hands were ruined, even if she bled dry, being able to draw maps like these is her greatest honor as a human!!"

Luffy kept his head down, his straw hat casting a deep shadow over his eyes. Only his knuckles, white from clenching his fists, and the suffocating pressure of his aura revealed his true state of mind.

"A tool...?" Luffy whispered in a low, dangerous tone.

In the next second: "THINGS THIS STUPID... DISAPPEAR!!!"

Luffy didn't attack Arlong. Instead, he lunged toward the mountains of sea charts and surveying instruments.

"BANG! CRASH! BOOM!!"

He went wild, frantically destroying everything in the room. Tables were overturned, instruments were crushed underfoot, and the charts Arlong cherished like treasures were ripped to shreds, fluttering through the air like confetti.

"STOP!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!" Arlong's eyes bulged in horror as he rushed forward to intervene. "That is my life's work! My ambition!! Don't touch them!!"

"Gum-Gum—" Luffy suddenly looked up. The explosion of raw will in that moment actually caused Arlong to flinch in fear.

"A place like this..." Luffy kicked Arlong away and grabbed a massive supporting pillar, his roar echoing to the heavens: "IS NOT NAMI'S ROOM!!!!!"

BOOM—!!!

Luffy's leg stretched upward, piercing through the roof into the sky. Then, carrying a devastating force that seemed capable of cleaving the world itself, it swung down like a giant axe!

"Gum-Gum... BATTLE AXE!!!"

"NOOOOO!!!!" Amidst Arlong's desperate scream, the main tower—the symbol of Arlong's reign and Nami's eight-year nightmare—collapsed instantly under the weight of the blow!

Countless stones and wooden planks, along with the fluttering fragments of sea charts, drifted down like snowfall.

Outside the ruins, Nami looked up. She watched the cage that had held her for eight years turn to rubble in the sunlight, watching the maps that symbolized her chains scatter in the wind. Tears fell like strings of pearls.

In the center of the dust-filled ruins: "Cough... hack..."

Arlong was covered in blood. His serrated nose was snapped, and every bone in his body was shattered. But as a fishman with a powerful constitution, he still clung to a single breath.

"Dammit... lower-class species..." Arlong's consciousness was fading. Instinctively, he tried to crawl toward the sea just a short distance away. If he could reach the water... he could survive. He could return one day...

"Step."

A black boot slammed down onto his back, severing his last hope of survival. Arlong struggled to look up. In his blurred vision, a smiling face appeared.

Viktor.

He held his long sword, still dripping with fishman blood, looking down at the dying shark with eyes void of mercy.

"Going somewhere, Captain Arlong?" Viktor's voice was soft. "There is no sea in hell."

"You..." Arlong's pupils contracted, just as he opened his mouth to beg.

"Flash—!!"

A cold light flickered. Viktor's sword swung down without a hint of hesitation. A hideous shark head rolled onto the ground, and foul blood stained the ruins red.

The overlord of the East Blue, Arlong: Confirmed Dead.

Listening to the pleasant system prompts, Viktor flicked the blood from his blade and slowly sheathed his sword. "It's over."

The battle had completely subsided. Outside the gates of Arlong Park, the villagers who had arrived with hoes ready to die stood with their mouths agape, shocked into silence.

Looking at the field of fishman corpses, the collapsed tower, and the figures standing atop the ruins:

"S-So strong..."

"That shark, Arlong... was actually beaten by that kid in the straw hat?"

"And the boy in black... were all those fishmen killed by him? He's... he's like a demon..."

The villagers discussed them in a mix of awe and fear. "Who are they really..." Genzo muttered to himself.

"They..." Nami wiped her tears and turned toward the group of people who had fought for her life. She took a deep breath and shouted proudly to all the villagers: "THEY ARE MY NAKAMA!!!"

Luffy grinned and gave a giant peace sign.

However, Viktor looked at the scattered wreckage around them, his mouth curling slightly. "This isn't clean enough yet," he whispered to himself. For an Uchiha, only total destruction is a true rebirth.

Amidst the confused gazes of the crowd, Viktor walked slowly to the center of the ruins, facing the land that had borne so much sin and pain.

"Whew..." He closed his eyes, steadying his breath. The massive, violent fire-natured chakra he had just acquired began to gather frantically in his chest.

His hands moved in a blur, so fast they were a dizzying smear of motion. Rat – Ox – Dog – Horse – Monkey – Boar – Tiger!

Hand signs complete.

Viktor snapped his eyes open and took a deep breath, his chest swelling as if a volcano were being primed inside him. He faced the ruins of Arlong Park—the remains of Nami's painful past—and exhaled with a roar!

"Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame!!!"

BOOM——————!!!!

In an instant, everyone's vision was dyed a brilliant, violent crimson. It wasn't a mere fireball; it was an ocean of flame!

The terrifying fire erupted from Viktor's mouth like a ten-meter-high tidal wave, sweeping over the entire ruins of Arlong Park with the force of a world-ending storm.

The scope was so vast that it burned half the sky red. The heat was so intense that even the villagers standing far away felt their skin sting and their hair curl.

"Waaaaah! So hot! What kind of magic is this?!" Luffy's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

"Hot hot hot! Is there a fire?!" Zoro, who had been sleeping in a corner, was shocked awake by the heat wave. He jumped up, staring at the hellish sea of fire with wide eyes. "Is this... that red-eyed bastard's doing?! Is he even human?!"

The raging flames scoured every inch of the land. The blood-stained charts, the wreckage of the rooms that had imprisoned Nami, the filthy traces left by the Arlong Pirates... under the most domineering fire of the Uchiha clan, everything was reduced to ash.

Viktor stood before the sea of fire, the flames reflected in his crimson Sharingan, his black hair dancing in the heat. He looked forward, a faint smile on his lips.

"Now, it's truly clean."

The nightmare was finally over.
