Ren Isana checked his physical condition. He felt better than ever before. His Magic Power had broken through to Tier 4, and his martial arts had also been enhanced.
In terms of the martial path, Ren was confident he could break through by tomorrow. This feeling of constantly growing stronger was truly intoxicating.
He got out of bed, washed his face, and brushed his teeth before heading out to buy the medicinal herbs he needed. He even bought all the ingredients required for the new ideas that had just popped into his head.
With all the materials ready, Ren buried himself in his apartment, researching a new basic potion. Adhering to the principle of not wasting anything, he could only test his theories little by little.
However, he succeeded on his very first try. His theories were flawless. This time, he managed to produce a pouch of strawberry-flavored red potion.
Staring at the strawberry-flavored red potion he had just concocted, Ren fell into deep thought. *Adding those specific herbs triggered a chemical reaction that changed the flavor to strawberry without altering the medicinal efficacy?*
After testing it slightly and confirming that the potion's effects remained exactly the same, he finally breathed a sigh of relief. With this, there wouldn't be any problems.
Without delay, Ren began mass production, converting all the remaining materials into red potions for his own use. As he busied himself, his room was soon filled with the sweet fragrance of strawberries.
Upstairs, Asuna caught a whiff of the scent, leaving her a bit bewildered. *What's going on? Why does it smell like strawberries downstairs? What is that guy doing?*
She suddenly remembered what Ren had mentioned yesterday about trying to create special-flavored potions. Could it be... Asuna was instantly dumbfounded. *Did he actually go and do it? Are you sure those will even work?*
Although she was full of doubts, Asuna didn't go down to bother him. Ren was probably buried in his research right now. She could just ask him about it tomorrow.
What happened next only confirmed her suspicions. That guy was definitely messing around, because the next scent that wafted up wasn't strawberry, but blueberry!
She suspected that Ren had literally just tossed those two fruits into the mix. *Is he trying to make some kind of cursed concoction? Is his morbid curiosity really that strong?*
Upstairs, Asuna couldn't help but ruthlessly roast Ren in her mind. Then, pushing the thought aside, she went back to her own business and resumed meditating. She felt that her Magic Power was also on the verge of breaking through to Tier 3.
Meanwhile, downstairs, Ren was looking at his two newly brewed potions with a gratified expression. "It's done. Strawberry-flavored red potions and blueberry-flavored blue potions. It's truly magical. I just added a few inconsequential herbs, and it turned out like this."
His talent, [Jianjigu], was actively working. He was already surpassing the knowledge he had initially learned, and these potions were the best proof of that.
If he had acted on the ideas he had right before going to bed yesterday, he probably wouldn't have succeeded because he was missing a few key elements. But after waking up and breaking through to Tier 4, his talent had grown stronger, and his approach had evolved.
That was why he succeeded on the first try. Thinking of this, Ren packed all the potions away into his backpack. Once that was done, he began his physical training.
He needed to seize this opportunity to quickly boost his strength. Once his martial path reached Tier 4 and he could project his True Qi externally, he would finally be able to execute the Secret Ghost Sword Art.
Ren cleared the items in the living room and moved the chairs out of the way. With the space cleared, he picked up his Tang Dao and began practicing the various blade techniques and Sword Skills he had learned.
For the rest of the day, aside from eating, Ren immersed himself entirely in his practice. Hard work pays off; bolstered by his overwhelming talent, his martial path successfully broke through to Tier 4 by nightfall.
Following his breakthrough, the aura radiating from his body grew increasingly powerful. Clenching his fist, white True Qi instantly condensed over his knuckles. This was the external projection of True Qi.
Feeling this domineering True Qi, the corners of Ren's mouth couldn't help but curl upward. An idea struck him, and he immediately picked up his Tang Dao, coating the blade in his True Qi.
As he did so, Ren felt the aura emanating from his Tang Dao become significantly stronger. A wave of intense sharpness washed over his face. The enhancement provided by external True Qi projection was simply massive.
It was an all-around upgrade. With True Qi coating his hands, he could even use his bare fists as weapons. It was on a completely different level compared to Tier 3.
After carefully assessing his current condition, Ren felt incredibly satisfied. With this, his upcoming expedition into the Dungeon would be much easier.
Retracting his radiating True Qi, Ren checked the time and realized it was already eight o'clock. He stopped his training, washed up, and got into bed to rest. After all, he was heading into the Dungeon tomorrow. He needed to recharge his energy and prepare for battle.
His study plan remained the same as usual. Ren continued to study pharmacology. Now that his Magic Power had broken through to Tier 4, he was capable of brewing intermediate potions.
He still needed to delve deeper into this field of knowledge, so he didn't waste a single second of study time. All he had to do was let his phone read the text aloud and leave the rest to his talent. There was no need for him to stress or overthink it.
The night passed uneventfully. When he woke up the next morning, his head was once again brimming with new knowledge. After briefly organizing the information in his mind, Ren washed up and began packing his gear.
For a Dungeon dive, a change of clothes and a power bank were absolute must-haves. After quickly packing his bag, Ren slung it over his shoulder, grabbed his weapon, and headed toward the school.
This time, he didn't run into Asuna in the elevator. Instead, he found her waiting for him downstairs at the apartment building. Like Ren, Asuna was wearing her school uniform and had a backpack slung over her shoulders.
However, while Ren's was just a standard backpack, hers was a spatial bag that cost tens of millions of Valis. There was simply no comparison. In her hand, she held her newly purchased rapier.
"Good morning, Ren." Seeing him come down, Asuna quickly stepped forward to greet him.
"Good morning. Did you bring everything?" Ren smiled faintly as he returned the greeting.
Asuna nodded, playfully teasing, "I almost packed my entire house in here, including some of my kitchenware!"
With a spatial backpack at her disposal, Asuna naturally wouldn't pack as lightly as Ren. She had literally brought all her kitchen utensils along, as well as various ingredients.
The ingredients were bought during her shopping trip yesterday. It was safe to say she had made ample preparations for this Dungeon adventure. Even though she didn't know how long they would be down there, it never hurt to be over-prepared.
