Chapter 86 - No Going Out to Find Animal-Eared Girls!

When Ren Isana took out forty gold bricks, Eina fell silent. *You guys are actually trading with gold?* Looking at the gold Ren produced, Eina took a deep breath and said, "Alright, please wait a moment. I will handle this for you right away."

After speaking, Eina got up and left the lounge. About five or six minutes later, she returned with an elderly dwarf sporting a goatee.

The elderly dwarf carried a set of delicate tools in his hands, clearly marking him as a Guild appraiser. Eina led the dwarf over to Ren and the others, saying, "This is the Guild's appraiser. We need to inspect this gold."

Eina quickly explained the situation. This was a necessary procedure for the Guild, which Ren didn't mind. He gestured for them to inspect it as they pleased.

Seeing this, the elderly dwarf quickly stepped forward and began his inspection. He picked up a piece of gold, weighed it slightly in his hand, and then placed it on a scale. After confirming the weight was accurate, he slowly said, "I need to cut it open. The Guild will cover any loss in material."

Hearing the dwarf's words, Ren nodded. He extended a hand and said, "Please, go ahead. There is absolutely no problem with this gold."

Even though Ren said so, the dwarf still had to cut it open. He randomly selected a piece, used the tools he brought to slice the gold open, and performed a series of verifications. Only after confirming there were no issues did he slowly say, "The gold is fine."

Seeing this, Ren immediately took out the remaining five kilos of gold and said, "Please help me verify these as well. The previous batch is for purchasing the manor, but I'd like to exchange this batch for Valis."

Ren didn't plan on hoarding this batch of gold. Having just arrived in this world, this was exactly when they needed money. The gold provided by the school was just enough to exchange for a manor and fifty million Valis.

Fifty million was enough for everyone to live very comfortably in this world. When the time came, Ren could just do a bulk purchase of armor and other necessities.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. They could use these Valis to buy whatever supplies they hadn't prepared in advance, not to mention the manor still needed to be furnished. By the time they finished spending, there probably wouldn't be much left anyway.

Eina naturally had no objections to Ren's request. The dwarf inspected the new batch of gold and found no issues, allowing both parties to quickly finalize the transaction.

Ren requested the Valis in cash. He directly stored several large chests filled with Valis into his Spatial Ring. By the time everything was settled, an hour had already passed.

Ren successfully obtained the manor's deed and keys, officially establishing the Hestia Familia. Upon receiving these credentials, Hestia couldn't have been happier.

Looking at the heavy set of keys, the deed, and the emblem in her hands, she felt incredibly sweet inside. They could move into the manor immediately without needing any renovations, as everything was already built.

The only thing left to do was purchase furniture and other items to put inside. Furthermore, the moment Ren and the others agreed to the purchase, Eina had already arranged for people to go over and help clean the place up.

Seeing Hestia giggling foolishly, Ren immediately said, "Now we need to go buy some furniture and have it delivered. Then we need to head over and get settled."

Hearing Ren's words, Hestia hurriedly nodded. "Okay! Then we'll hold off on visiting Hephaestus for now!"

Originally, she had planned to take Ren and the others to see her best friend. But now that their Familia's headquarters had been purchased, the Familia's affairs naturally took priority.

With the decision made, everyone set out. After leaving the Guild, the group headed straight for the commercial district, where Ren began a massive shopping spree.

He bought all the necessary furniture, beds, and dining tables in one go, along with various pots, pans, and miscellaneous items. In a single sweep, Ren spent several million Valis.

The shopkeepers were ecstatic over this sudden massive influx of business. They decisively offered free delivery and installation. This single transaction was enough to feed them for three years.

Once all the shopping was done, Ren finally led everyone toward the location of their new headquarters. Hestia skipped along at the front, her mood absolutely radiant.

The group traversed the bustling streets of Orario, followed by a long delivery caravan. Such a spectacle naturally drew the sidelong glances of many passersby.

Leading the delivery team, the group headed toward the manor in the eastern district. The further east they went, the quieter the streets became. After passing through the busy downtown area, fields of green came into view.

It felt as though they had arrived in the countryside. However, everyone was exceptionally satisfied with this environment. At the very least, it wouldn't be as noisy as the inner city of Orario.

The group soon spotted the place they would be living in. In the distance stood a three-story structure built primarily of stone.

Seeing this European-style manor, everyone quickened their pace. As they drew closer, more details emerged. It was a classic European estate.

It seemed this place was originally built to serve as a Familia's headquarters. Because of this, there were many rooms—one only had to look at the number of windows to know.

The architecture formed a U-shape, consisting of three separate buildings. Each building had three floors, topped with high, pointed roofs adorned with exquisite reliefs.

Looking at the building before them, everyone's eyes lit up. Accustomed to modern high-rises, this classical European manor still managed to leave the students in awe.

"It's even better than the photos!" Asuna said, looking at the building with great satisfaction. The photos they had seen were far less impressive than the real thing.

"And the environment is nice, too." Yukino Yukinoshita looked at the quiet surroundings, a faint smile tugging at the corners of her lips. Dragging her exhausted body back here at night would definitely guarantee a good night's sleep.

"Let's go. Although it's not as convenient as the modern world, it's still a pretty good place. Everyone will just have to slowly get used to it," Ren said, taking the lead and walking forward.

Hearing Ren's words, everyone nodded. Having a place to stay in another world was already fantastic enough; what more could they ask for? Everyone was highly satisfied with the location.

As Ren and the others stepped into the manor and observed the layout, Ren immediately made arrangements. "Boys live on the left, girls on the right. The middle building will be our activity room, kitchen, dining hall, and so on. Hestia, you'll stay in the middle."

Ren's arrangements were simple and straightforward. There were far more rooms here than he had imagined, so he just casually assigned them. Boys on the left, girls on the right was the easiest way.

And it seemed the manor was originally designed this way anyway. The left and right buildings were perfectly suited as dormitories, while the central building was meant for communal activities and cooking.

No one had any objections to Ren's arrangement. It couldn't be better. In fact, no one really cared where they slept anyway, since there were plenty of rooms to go around.

After laying down the rules, Ren let everyone pick their own rooms and directed the workers to bring the beds and furniture inside for installation. Once everyone laid out the bedsheets and bedding they had brought with them, they would officially be settled in.

He was also preparing to pick a room for himself, but Hestia insisted on dragging Asuna and the other girls to live in the middle building with her.

In her words, if she lived over there all by herself, she would die of boredom. It would be too scary not having a few people living with her.

Ren didn't mind Hestia's pestering, so he simply let Asuna and the others accompany her. Meanwhile, Ren randomly picked a room on the second floor of the middle building to move into.

By the time everyone finished setting everything up, evening had already arrived. As night fell, everyone got to experience some of this world's unique technology.

For example, lamps powered by Magic Stones. Once these lamps were lit, the illumination throughout the headquarters was actually quite good. After everyone finished organizing their rooms, they gathered together, brought out the ingredients they had packed, and began preparing dinner.

Because they had just arrived, many things had to be kept simple. For dinner, they just whipped up something basic to fill their stomachs.

After eating, Ren gathered everyone for a brief meeting to outline their upcoming schedule.

"For the next few days, we won't rush into the Dungeon. Tomorrow, we'll handle some affairs around the headquarters, set up the training grounds, and things like that. Besides that, we also need to hire some people to clean and cook," Ren explained his thoughts.

After all, it was naturally impossible for them to keep cooking and cleaning for themselves forever. Once they started exploring the Dungeon in the future, they wouldn't have the time to deal with these chores.

Because of this, aside from their official members, they needed to hire some clean-handed helpers to handle these trivial daily matters. Many Familias in Orario did exactly this.

Hearing Ren's plan, everyone naturally agreed. It was an excellent arrangement. Having someone to handle the chores would allow them to focus entirely on improving their strength.

"Aside from that, everyone should go familiarize yourselves with the surrounding environment tomorrow..." At this point, Ren specifically looked toward the boys, his expression turning somewhat peculiar.

"One more thing... absolutely do not go messing around in the red-light district. Don't end up catching some disease. You have to understand, the hygiene conditions in certain places during this era..." He didn't need to say too much.

Ren only needed to hint at it for everyone to understand. They were all teenagers going through puberty. What if these guys got hot-headed, ran in to experience things, and ended their careers as Grand Mages?

These words instantly caused the girls to shoot looks of disdain at the guys—especially at the few classmates who had shown a keen interest in animal-eared girls upon arriving.

"It's fine. Go if you want to. You'll just be expelled directly once we get back." Just as the boys were dying of embarrassment, a voice suddenly rang out. Following that, Shizuka Hiratsuka and the others walked in from outside.

Ren smelled the scent of beer on Shizuka Hiratsuka. *Did these guys go out to eat and drink before coming over?* Thinking of this, Ren was left speechless.

The one who had just spoken was Shizuka Hiratsuka. Her words effectively drew a hard red line for everyone. Hearing her, the boys who might have harbored some secret little thoughts instantly deflated.

No one wanted to be expelled. It was better not to get involved in such things. Being expelled upon returning and having their families notified would be absolute social death. Their parents might even break their legs.

The mere thought of it made everyone shudder. It was simply too terrifying. So, it was best to banish those thoughts, honestly train hard here, and go back together when the time came.

"She's right. If you want to go, we won't stop you. But after we return, we will notify your parents and have you voluntarily withdraw from school," Natsuki Minamiya added.

They had zero tolerance for such matters. If they dared to visit places like that on their very first trip to another world, wouldn't they completely let loose and start murdering and committing arson in the future?

Because of this, they had to keep these kids in check and prevent them from acting recklessly. It was very good that Ren had thought of this. Ren certainly hadn't slacked off in his cultural studies growing up.

"We won't go!" "Right, absolutely not." "I am sworn enemies with pornography, gambling, and drugs!" Hearing the two teachers' words, the male students hurriedly made their guarantees.

Natsuki Minamiya swept her gaze over the male students and said no more on the subject. Instead, she turned to Ren and said, "We will be living here from now on as well. In the future, while you are at the Familia, you can come find us anytime if you have questions."

Following her words, Yor Forger also spoke up. She looked at everyone with a smile and said, "I am skilled in using various weapons. If you want to learn, you can come ask me anytime too."

The three teachers represented three different courses. Ask Natsuki Minamiya for magic, Shizuka Hiratsuka for martial arts, and Yor for weapons. This was their division of labor, and their words made the students nod eagerly.

Even though they had arrived in another world, it seemed they still had to study what needed to be studied. In reality, there were a few things these teachers hadn't mentioned.

Namely, they would be grading these students based on their performance in this other world. Whether or not they would be directly admitted to a university would depend entirely on their own efforts.

The three teachers moved right in. After the brief meeting concluded, everyone returned to their rooms to wash up and rest. They had things to handle tomorrow, and with a lack of entertainment options, everyone simply washed up and went to sleep.

Just as things quieted down on Ren's side, the Gods of Orario received the news of Hestia's descent and the immediate establishment of her Familia.

This news left quite a few people astonished. *That girl actually came down?* When Hestia's good friend Hephaestus heard the news, she was also somewhat surprised. *That girl came down and didn't even come look for me?*

*And that freeloader actually formed her own Familia?* It was truly surprising. After pondering for a moment, Hephaestus decided she would go check on her tomorrow.

After inquiring about the location of the Hestia Familia and learning the price of that manor, the surprise in Hephaestus's eyes only grew. She couldn't help but mutter, "What's going on? Did that girl strike a gold mine?"

She didn't yet know that the members of Hestia's Familia were all from another world. Loki hadn't leaked that information; she had only mentioned that Hestia had arrived.

Ren and the others were unaware of all this. He was already lying in bed, entering a meditative state. Furthermore, Ren had made up his mind to carve a Meditation Array in his room tomorrow.

Meditating with an Array versus without one were two completely different states. *Let's just leave it at this for tonight.* With that thought, Ren slipped into meditation.

Everyone else also began their first night in another world. Some fell fast asleep, while others tossed and turned, eventually opting to sit by the window and gaze at the unpolluted night sky of this foreign world.

The night passed silently. When the second day arrived, Ren woke up early. However, when he washed up and went downstairs, he discovered that the Familia had a guest. Hestia was currently chattering away in the living room with a red-haired woman wearing an eyepatch.

Seeing Ren come downstairs, Hestia's eyes instantly lit up. She hurriedly waved at him and said, "Ren, Ren, let me introduce you! This is my good friend, Hephaestus!"
