A girl with a childish yet faintly charming face walked up. After placing her hand on the tablet:

After her test, Xiao Mei came over with a bright smile. "Cousin Xiao Tian, Sister Xun'er, Cousin Xiao Yan!"
She encouraged Xiao Yan warmly, then stood beside Xun'er and began chatting (mostly Xiao Mei talking while Xun'er listened quietly). Thanks to Xiao Tian's presence and protective nature, Xiao Mei had never grown distant from Xiao Yan like in the original timeline.
"Next, Xiao Xun'er."
"Brother Xiao Tian, I'm going up!" Xun'er said softly, gently pulling away from Xiao Mei's arm.
She placed her hand on the tablet. A brilliant light burst forth.

Gasps and exclamations erupted from the crowd. "Miss Xun'er actually reached nine segments?! What terrifying talent!"
After descending, Xun'er stood in front of Xiao Tian. He gave her a thumbs-up and praised with a grin, "Xun'er is amazing! Truly a girl blessed with both peerless talent and beauty!"
Xiao Xun'er's cheeks flushed slightly, but she didn't retort.

Xiao Xun'er gave him a sidelong glance, her voice carrying a hint of amazement. "Brother Xiao Tian… you really broke through to Dou Practitioner."
Xiao Yan also offered a faint smile of congratulations before turning and leaving with a somewhat dejected expression. Xiao Mei said she was going to train harder and left as well.
Watching Xiao Yan's retreating back, Xun'er said softly, "Brother Xiao Tian, Xiao Yan seems quite down…"

He took Xun'er's hand and they left the testing ground together. After strolling around the family compound for a while, they parted ways and returned to their own courtyards.
