He had not noticed they were on the same Tuesday until Monday night, staring at his phone with the particular horror of a man who prided himself on never double-booking anyone.

"What happened," she said.
"I have two things tomorrow," he said. "Same time."
"Which two."
"Saki's presentation," he said. "And Hiroto-san's dinner."
Yoru sat down slowly.
"Oh," she said.

"Which one are you going to."
He looked at her.
