Chapter 47 - Arceus’ Ambition, A New Exchange: Nicolas Flamel

Professor Oak felt that this must be a blessing from Arceus.

What he didn't know was that, at this moment, high above Pallet Town, Arceus stood in the sky, overlooking the situation inside the laboratory as it muttered to itself, "I hope you can understand it soon and bring me some surprises, human."

As it spoke, Arceus raised its head and looked out over the entire world. "This world has seen too many possibilities, yet none have brought about a true qualitative change. This might be an opportunity. I look forward to the next transaction, unknown existence."

The scene ended there.

Akira looked at the Everstone that had appeared in his hand, recalling Arceus' final words with a hint of surprise. "Was that directed at me?"

Otherwise, why would Arceus suddenly speak? And in human language at that?

"So Arceus is aware of the Exchange Talent, and even participating in it. In its eyes, this isn't a random exchange, but a transaction. It wants to use this to break the stagnation of the Pokémon world and trigger a qualitative evolution."

Akira narrowed his eyes slightly as a smile spread across his face. "Now this is getting interesting."

He began analyzing the situation carefully.

"From the previous exchange, when I used a chakra beast together with chakra and the Chakra Extraction Technique, the result didn't connect to the Pokémon world but instead shifted to another world. That likely means Arceus deliberately rejected chakra as a system entering its world."

"Which makes sense. Chakra is too dangerous. If humans in the Pokémon world gained access to it, the entire balance of that world could collapse."

"So if I want to consistently connect to the Pokémon world, I should avoid sending chakra systems and instead stick to biological exchanges like chakra beasts."

Akira nodded slightly, feeling that his reasoning was sound.

"It's a pity I can't lock onto a specific world for exchanges yet. If that ability appears after future upgrades, things will become much more controllable."

He glanced down at the Everstone in his hand and casually tossed it into his Beast Space.

"No need for this right now. Pichu doesn't require it."

He had no intention of letting Pikachu evolve into Raichu. Not because of strength, but simply because Raichu didn't look as good as Pikachu.

With the Beast Space's enhancement and evolution properties, even without evolving, Pikachu's bloodline and potential would continue to improve.

"There's no rush. I'll save it for future Pokémon."

Then Akira began reviewing the logic behind this exchange.

"Last time, adding chakra caused the exchange target to shift away from the Pokémon world. That likely means Arceus doesn't want its world to integrate that kind of power system."

"In other words, the exchange isn't purely random. It's being filtered by the will of the target world."

"If that's the case, then I can test it again next time."

Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

Akira returned to the Forest of Death and captured another chakra-infused creature—this time, a rooster.

"…Seriously, who keeps creating these strange chakra-infused animals?" Akira muttered, staring at the unconscious bird with a speechless expression. "This definitely isn't natural."

He shook his head and stopped overthinking it.

"I've been using low-tier materials for exchanges all this time. When will I finally start using something truly high-level?"

Unfortunately, with his current strength and status, his access to valuable resources was still extremely limited.

"Whatever. Let's begin."

Holding the chakra-infused rooster in one hand and a Chakra Extraction Technique scroll along with a large mass of chakra in the other, Akira activated his ability.

"Exchange."

In an instant, everything in his hands vanished.

A new scene appeared in his mind.

In another world—

In southern France, within a hidden castle.

The legendary alchemist Nicolas Flamel, who had lived for centuries, was crafting a ring.

He had recently obtained a rare meteorite with spatial properties, making it the perfect material for creating a large-scale storage artifact.

His goal was to build a ring with a vast internal space—large enough to sustain an ecosystem where he could raise animals and cultivate plants.

At his age, he found himself drawn to peaceful, self-sufficient pursuits.

"Done."

Just as he completed the ring, before he could even inspect it, it vanished from his hand.

In its place appeared a chakra-infused rooster, a scroll, and two chakra crystals.

"Oh?"

Flamel's eyes lit up, not with fear, but with curiosity.

"Who could possibly bypass my defenses and replace my work without my notice?"

This was his stronghold, filled with magical barriers and traps. In his understanding, not even Albus Dumbledore could achieve such a feat.

"Let's see what these are."

Sensing no danger, Flamel picked up one of the chakra crystals.

Information immediately flooded his mind.

"Chakra seed? A power system from another world?"

His interest deepened.

He then opened the scroll and began reading the Chakra Extraction Technique.

Soon, he was completely absorbed.

Back in Konoha, Akira slowly opened his eyes.

He could already tell that what he had traded away was no ordinary item.

"A spatial ring created by a legendary alchemist… That must have been incredibly valuable."

But instead of regret, a faint smile appeared on his lips.

"Looks like this exchange has connected me to yet another world."

More importantly—

The Exchange Talent wasn't just trading items.

It was influencing entire worlds.

Akira's eyes gleamed with anticipation.

"This is getting more and more interesting."
