The library fell silent immediately
Jude exchanged a look with Scarlett before moving first
"Stay here, I will go instead ", he said sharply
Scarlett who was already trying to move as well
"No", she said quickly
Jude looked at her
"Scarlett...."
"Yes? If Betty came all the way here by this time of the night, then I definitely want to hear what she has to say", she said sharply
Violet moved as well
"I agree with Scarlett and I'm also coming with you both", she said quietly
Jude looked at her and then back at Scarlett
"If you both say so. Let's go"
The four of them left the library together and headed downstairs
