Scarlett and Jude just stood still completely
"Ma'am, I said that we have just received the official decision from the committee", Jason repeated
Scarlett took a slow breath as her eyes were fixed on Jude
Jason then stepped forward with the tablet in his hand; the expression on his face made Scarlett's heart race fast
"Well, did they approve it?" she asked slowly
Jason swallowed hard
"They have sent a formal response", he said quietly
Scarlett stretched her hand
"Let me have the tablet"
Jason handed it over instantly
Jude just stood as his eyes remained fixed on Scarlett as she opened the email
The room became auspiciously quiet
Scarlett's eyes moved across the paragraphs slowly and her expression didn't change
Jason looked for a slight expression on her face gently but he couldn't find any
Then she finally lowered the tablet slowly
"Ma'am, what did they say?", Jason asked
