BACK TO THE PRESENT
Jude's heartbeat slowed instantly
"So, what happened after that?", he asked
Daniel let out a slight frown
"I don't know", he said slowly
"But you were there, so why don't you know?", Jude snapped
"Yes....I was but she met with him privately"
"Hmmmmn....how long was the meeting?", Jude asked
"For about fifty minutes if I am not mistaken"
"So, what happened?"
Daniel shook his head
"Like I said I really don't know but when the meeting ended, he walked out"
Jude listened to him carefully
"And Miss Scarlett walked out with him before she came back to the office and gathered everyone", Daniel continued
"So, what did she tell you all when she gathered everyone?"
"She told us that we would continue with operations", Daniel replied
Jude looked at him quietly
"Just like that?"
Daniel nodded
"Yes, just like that, and within two weeks, our cash flow problems disappeared", he said
